Catfight

[edit]

Thanks for the link removal over at Catfight. This stuff is going to stop. Unfortunately I have been a bit remiss in warnings to the user. TastyPoutine talk (if you dare) 23:31, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome. The spammer is without much doubt the author himself. He tries same game in the german wikipedia catfight entry and complains in his Wikipedia user site about the fast cencoring. *fg* with regards --Mechtor (talk) 02:46, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I see. When I saw your edit history on English WP, I wondered why a new editor had taken such an interest in this article. But since you were helping me out, I thought it better not to ask. In any case, I asked for the page to be protected here so we have at least a week or so to be free of Herr Wündsch. The protecting admin is more than willing to take up stronger measures in light of the massive cross wiki spamming. Cheers. TastyPoutine talk (if you dare) 02:53, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Fell free to ask what you want. ;) I am a female wrestling fan and one of the owner of a free german catfight info site with community. I have reorganize the German WP catfight entry some weeks ago - which was a little bit messy before- and had read this book from Mr. Wündsch. I hate obtrusive spamming/advertising and incorrigible behaviour especially in a free public concepts like WP.--Mechtor (talk) 23:25, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm MrOllie. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Local store marketing have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Digital signage. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 17:06, 5 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
