If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Monte Dolack requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. May 2011

[edit]

Please refrain from writing autobiographical articles, as you did at Monte Dolack. Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged; if you create such an article, it may be deleted. All edits to articles must conform to our policies on no original research, neutral point of view, and avoid conflicts of interest. Please remember that Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia, not a personal webspace provider. If your achievements are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. (See Wikipedians with articles.) Thank you. TeapotgeorgeTalk 18:44, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

New Monte Dolack article

[edit]

Hi there. I researched a new article about Monte Dolack and put it on Wikipedia. Since there's no copyright infringement problems, this article should stay up.

Are you the real Monte Dolack? If so, it'd be nothing short of wonderful if you would give Wikipedia permission to use one or more of your images on the site. (A photograph of yourself would be terrific, too.) Ideally, you would put something in the public domain, but I hardly expect that. More appropriately, you would agree to upload one or more images under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC-BY-SA) license. It allows anyone to use the work as long as they credit you and distribute any modifications to the work under the same, similar or a compatible license. You can read more about this license here. There are other licenses, too. Feel free to email me, too! BTW, I'm a GFHS '83. - Tim1965 (talk) 01:36, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

And also we'd like an image of yourself. Several members of WikiProject Montana are actually Montanans (including myself and User:Mike Cline that I know of for sure, and Tim, above, has a solid Great Falls connection). We will be glad to help out and keep you from running into trouble with Wikipedia's general policies against people doing articles on themselves. We have a pretty good policy to protect the biographies of living persons and do our best to help keep people's WP articles neutral and factual. Montanabw(talk) 16:00, 18 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
