Welcome!

Hello, Dede2008, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, like Solar eclipse of March 9, 2016, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Pmlinediter (talk) 08:42, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. As the article namespace is for encyclopedic content and not tests, the page you made will soon be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. AfD nomination of Solar eclipse of March 9, 2016

[edit]

I have nominated Solar eclipse of March 9, 2016, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Solar eclipse of March 9, 2016. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Habanero-tan (talk) 08:52, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:SE2024Apr08T.GIF

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:SE2024Apr08T.GIF. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hi Mbak. I get that you're trying to help with the Rouge rubis article but, and please don't take offense to this, your edits aren't helping. I don't know if you're using google to translate or else your English is not very good, either way the content you're adding is pretty unintelligible. Also I see you've been welcoming new users, which is great, but in future try to only welcome new users that actually make edits, every day thousands of people make accounts that they never use to edit, as a general rule we don't welcome them unless they do--Jac16888 Talk 01:10, 28 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi - as you may have seen, I have removed the categories you had transcluding from templates are re-added them manually to the articles in question. Having the categories present on the actual page has many benefits, including sorting options (see Category:Cempaka Putih, Jakarta) and it allows for easier changes to happen without having to edit the complex programming of the template. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sundanese Wikipedia requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your Project ? to create kelurahan articles in Wp en?

You seem to have not responded to the deletion or prod notices - your creations do not have WP:N, WP:RS, and little or no text -

please respond, to explain your project here on talk, - please read the discussions - anything less than a Village - is a big problem.

Creating empty stubs like Sundanese wikipedia, and your kelurahan stubs - is going to fill this talk page with deletion notices - please try to understand what WP:ABOUT and WP:NOT actually mean - in english.

Are you sure you should not be helping out in WP:id - ? Please do not copy over material from WP:id that do not have WP:RS - we take it very seriously here on WP :en!!!

Gambir and Johar_Baru sudah cukup - WP:en tak bisa atau mau lebih kecil daripada itu!! to make smaller stubs is pointless, the project is pointless if all you are doing is copying across from WP:id - there are good reasons to stay at Gambir and Johar Baru.

Please try to understand that creating stubs with no content, WP:N and WP:RS issue is going to see others want to PROD or DELETE your project... SatuSuro 15:20, 5 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Jumadi Abdi has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. Hi. When you recently edited Bank Central Asia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Third party (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Your question on the Village Pump

[edit]

Hey, Dede2008. I deleted your question from Wikipedia:Village pump (miscellaneous), because requests for help don't belong there. If you still need help with reporting link spamming, let me know. Also, next time you need to know how to do something on Wikipedia, here are a few options:

  • On your talk page, put {{help me}} and a description of your problem. Someone will come to help.
  • You can go to the help desk or the teahouse, two forums where users can ask for help.
  • You can search the project pages yourself, by adding wp: before your search query.

Hope that helps! ʝunglejill 23:12, 17 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Have a read of WP:Vandalism and I will explain some of my own experience to you. Elizium23 (talk) 20:32, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well, somehow I doubt that I can instruct you under the auspices of CVUA if you keep getting yourself blocked for spamming. So consider yourself expelled. Elizium23 (talk) 14:47, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

The editor has been extended WP:OFFER. This involves absolutely ZERO editing of Wikipedia, either anonymously OR with a userid. This involves a requirement to become involve in any other Wikimedia project, and show positive edits upon your return. If you edit Wikipedia at all within 6 months, the WP:OFFER will be withdrawn. If you mean change your account name by having it renamed, yes that is possible. You can contact a bureaucrat. However, you can't create a new account until your current block is lifted. I would highly recommend that you take the standard offer for now. Elockid (Talk) 15:08, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
How to take the standard offer? (I promise i dont want create sockpuppet, link spam, etc.) --Dede2008 (talk) 15:15, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
What you do is take a break from here for about 6 months. You can still contribute in other projects so I suggest you go there. If you can prove that you will no longer disrupt Wikipedia by evading your block (socking) and spamming during the time period, then you can contact an admin to request an unblock. You can also contact me in 6 months through email. If I find that you haven't been socking and spamming, I will unblock your account. Elockid (Talk)
Ok, I will extend the offer. Dede2008 (talk) 23:04, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to the 2013 WikiCup!

[edit]

Hello, Dede2008, and welcome to the 2013 WikiCup! Your submissions' page is here. The competition begins at midnight UTC. The first round will last until the end of February, at which point the top 64 scorers will advance to the second round. We will be in touch at the end of every month, and signups are going to remain open until the end of January; if you know of anyone else who may like to take part, please let them know! A few reminders:

  • The rules can be found here. There have been a few changes from last year, which are listed on that page.
  • Anything you submit must have been nominated and promoted in 2013, and you need to have completed significant work upon it in 2013. (The articles you review at good article reviews does not need to have been nominated in 2013, but you do need to have started the review in 2013.) We will be checking.
  • If you feel that another competitor is breaking the rules or abusing the competition in some way, please let a judge know. Please do not remove entries from the submissions' pages of others yourself.
  • Don't worry about calculating precisely how many points everything is worth. The bot will do that. The bot may occasionally get something wrong- let a judge know, or post on the WikiCup talk page if that happens.
  • Please try to be prompt in updating submissions' pages so that they can be double-checked.

Overall, however, don't worry, and have fun. It doesn't matter if you make the odd mistake; these things happen. Questions can be asked on the WikiCup talk page. Good luck! J Milburn and The ed17 23:20, 7 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome. --Dede2008 (talk) 10:44, 8 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on your user page, User talk:Panesaragricultureindustries, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages: user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you can indicate why the page is not blatant advertising, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to your user talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also edit this page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would help make it encyclopedic. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Gtwfan52 (talk) 12:12, 14 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Sundanese Wikipedia has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable version of Wikipedia: the article either includes only non-independent and self-published sources (especially Wikipedia itself), or has no sources at all.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Rollback granted

[edit]

Hi Dede2008. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! – Juliancolton | Talk 19:02, 21 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Request reason:

I am writing to request an IP block exemption due to being currently unable to edit Wikipedia articles from my IP address range, which is hard blocked due to using Wikipedia for promotion or advertising purposes. I believe an exemption is necessary because I use a mobile hotspot on one of mobile provider in Indonesia, and when my IP address matches the range, I am unable to edit Wikipedia.

I understand and respect Wikipedia's policies on editing, including not to use IP block exemption on open proxy. Dede2008 (talk) 16:56, 3 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You didn't provide the IP address so we can look into this. If you don't want to do so publicly, you may use WP:UTRS to provide it privately. 331dot (talk) 19:04, 3 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
