[edit]Hello, I'm Dr Greg. I noticed that you recently removed content from Gravitational acceleration without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Your page creations
[edit]Please don't create redirects to non-existent pages, such as your creation at N9 highway (Philippines). Creating disambiguation pages to non-existent pages, such as N4 highway (Philippines), is also problematic. power~enwiki (π, ν) 03:56, 6 March 2018 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of N4 highway (Philippines)
[edit]A tag has been placed on N4 highway (Philippines) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G6 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an orphaned disambiguation page which either
- disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic); or
- disambiguates no (zero) extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. power~enwiki (π, ν) 03:56, 6 March 2018 (UTC)
Philippine highway disambiguations
[edit]Hello MathAddict and thank you for creating pages such as N64 highway (Philippines). These certainly seem like notable topics that should be covered on Wikipedia but I think they may be need to be short articles rather than disambiguation pages. (The term "N64 highway" means parts of both the Antero Soriano Highway and the Tanza–Trece Martires Road as a group, rather than being an ambiguous term which could mean the whole of either of them.) Links to disambiguation pages are usually mistakes, and incoming links to these pages are now appearing regularly on our daily error reports. It doesn't make sense to resolve those links to one of the individual road articles; the text refers to the whole of the N64 or similar highway.
Would it be better to write a short article on each numbered highway, using material from the articles you would have listed? I've done E1 expressway (Philippines) as an example, but I don't know much about the country so I wouldn't feel confident about trying to write a whole series of articles. (That's a format I just made up, so please feel free to develop a better standard layout.) If you do go down this route, there is some good advice at Copying within Wikipedia. Speedy deletion nomination of N65 highway (Philippines)
[edit]Hello MathAddict,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged N65 highway (Philippines) for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.
