Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Rainbow Gathering, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Check when changing text that you are not breaking links. Hit the "preview" button and see if the text turned red. Rather than making massive changes that break links and image files, please go to the talk pages of the articles and discuss the naming issue. You will also need to cite WP:RS sources if you are to find consensus for these changes. - CorbieV 16:44, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Well all new to this, and the only word missing is the word Rainbow {Family} Gather[ing[s] the word family runs along with rainbow family, gatherings, not rainbow gatherings, as he short name is added in front of gatherings. and not sure how to do consensus here, will look into it, and I can only say what I have learned being a rainbow family since 78, and just stating what I learned, and sure I could place to a vote here https://www.facebook.com/groups/RainbowFamilyofLivingLight/ which is the new place where we all get our information now days

Welcome!

Hello, MartinPaulCheney, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Rainbow Gathering, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. (Diff:[1]) In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! - CorbieV 16:47, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Rainbow Gathering. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Do not insert additional content into direct quotes. I'm not going to undo this all by hand. Edit more carefully. Better, don't edit the Rainbow Gathering article at all, you have WP:COI - CorbieV 03:11, 13 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Rainbow Family. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Again, you have COI, and have continued to edit, without discussion, after being warned. Diff:[2] - CorbieV 03:13, 13 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
