Hello Mahesh Karve. Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions!

I'm Vincentvikram, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge.

Some pages of helpful information to get you started:
  Introduction to Wikipedia
  The five pillars of Wikipedia

  How to edit a page
  Simplified Manual of Style
  The basics of Wikicode
  How to develop an article
  How to create an article

Some common sense Dos and Don'ts:
  Do be bold
  Do assume good faith
  Do be civil
  Do keep cool!
Do maintain a neutral point of view
  Don't spam
  Don't infringe copyright
Don't edit where you have a conflict of interest
  Don't commit vandalism
  Don't get blocked
If you need further help, you can:
  Ask a question
or you can:
  Get help at the Teahouse
or even:
Ask an experienced editor to "adopt" you

Alternatively, leave me a message at my talk page or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page and someone will try to help.

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:
  Fight vandalism
Be a WikiFairy or a WikiGnome
  Help contribute to articles
  Perform maintenance tasks

Become a member of a project that interests you
  Help design new templates
Subscribe and contribute to The Signpost
Translate articles from Wikipedias in other languages

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Please remember to:

  • Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
  • Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!

No. Only those references which are unreliable and have nothing to do with the content have been removed. I read the sources before doing anything.

Source

[edit]

The source isn't relevant. The source doesn't have most of the information that you are referring to. Please remove it. Akshaypatill (talk) 08:15, 1 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Let me cross-check and we could find a solution together instead of wiping out content.

That would be great. Akshaypatill (talk) 09:15, 1 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

And before reporting warring, please check out the reverting rules. The number 7 clearly states that "Removing contentious material that is libelous, biased, unsourced, or poorly sourced according to Wikipedia's biographies of living persons (BLP) policy' is exempted from the the edit-warring policy. Akshaypatill (talk) 09:26, 1 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I did check that and that's why I gave you the warning. In the Award section, you removed the reference as well as one award. I checked and it was a reliable source which clearly stated that the concerned party received that award. Once again please go through the content, references thoroughly. We have to maintain this platform's dignity. I know the rules I do not engage in something without being sure.

Show me the referance

[edit]

The source that was cited refers to 'Efficient MLA' and not to 'the Award for Outstanding Scholarly Speaker in the Legislature on behalf of Dainik Lokmat' nor 'Powerful Politician Award on behalf of Dainik Lokmat'. I have removed 'the Award for Outstanding Scholarly Speaker in the Legislature on behalf of Dainik Lokmat' as I couldn't find any source and I doubt if such an award exists. Also the source you revered doesn't confirm if he got the award or not. It just says 'to receive' and I can't find any source that implies otherwise. so, mate, check the source yourself and then bother me. I hope you aren't cognitively impaired and you understand what you are talking about and I ain't wasting my time here. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Akshaypatill (talkcontribs) 18:03, 1 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

To receive- And he did received. Now I haven't made any changes but you seem very spiteful when there is no need. Remember we are still discussing. If you want to use insulting language we are never going to make this work. I do not entertain bullies. I am talking to you in a respectful manner and I wish you at least could be friendly. If not then it will hinder my process of finding sources. Would love to share that too once you are civilized enough.

I had to write all this because you claimed many times that the source supports the content and it wasn't true. I don't want to waste my time looking for the claimed content in the source. First, check and then add the source . Anyway, you have got the warning and content has reverted by the Admin and I hope you will follow the rules in future. Akshaypatill (talk) 07:35, 5 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am following the rules which is why I am seeking help from the administrative board. Your good intentions do not justify your usage of insulting language. I am still being respectful so please refrain from doing the same in the future. I still would like to work together but, editing and putting information on Wikipedia cannot be about someone's ego. If I have made any mistakes I am going to make them right. I think it will be best if we talk on the concerned article's talk page instead of on my talk page. Best Wishes to you! Hello Mahesh Karve. Your account has been reported at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/VedikaThorat. It seems that you and VedikaThorat (talk · contribs) might be the same person, or perhaps two people working in close collaboration. The policy concerned is WP:SOCK. It would help if you can clarify your off-wiki relationship with VedikaThorat (talk · contribs). The two of you are both new accounts and have been making similar edits to Dhananjay Munde. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 21:28, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, EdJohnston

I have explained/clarified this to Vincentvikram as well, I do know Vedika. However, I did not write anything in the Dhananjay Munde article but I did restore some content. I have also discussed this with other editors and asked them for help. The concerned article still lacks some information. I am in the process of finding new sources. I understand your concerns. Thank you for contacting me.
