Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Madchef81, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Draft:Fondazione Mater, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, ask me on my talk page. You can also type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Fondazione Mater requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.rsvp-popup.com/hosts/materfondazione. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ok, so i have to rewrite it? Madchef81 (talk) 18:41, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. It’s very important that we write articles in our own words instead of directly copying the text from other sites (although if you’re the copyright holder, you might be able to donate the material). Also, since you’re affiliated with the organisation— its founder, if I’m not mistaken— you have a conflict of interest. I highly recommend reading WP:COI before proceeding any further. ◇HelenDegenerate18:52, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You also need to make a declaration as a paid editor or you risk being blocked. Star Mississippi 16:50, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Star Mississippi what you mean payed editor???? mater foundation is a humanitarian foundation fighting hunger in Geneva, i thought having a wiki entry would have being beneficial to our effort, that's it. what you mean payed editor????? 2A02:1210:5EBF:AF00:A965:27AA:1758:889C (talk) 17:01, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Star Mississippi you mean press article or accamedemic publications? 2A02:1210:5EBF:AF00:A965:27AA:1758:889C (talk) 17:02, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You said hi, i am trying again to create the page for my foundation, all the texts are mine, therefore you are a Paid editor. " i thought having a wiki entry would have being beneficial to our effort" is also not what Wikipedia articles are for. I suggest leaving this for someone else to edit given your conflict of interest. Star Mississippi 17:09, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Star Mississippi that much for "free encyclopedia" ha! if you are not a robot... my congratulations: it takes skills to be unpolite via text messaging. I'm not paid to do this, i wrote the texts my self, is that something you can process? then is Wikipedia is not for the benefit of people looking for information, maybe you are right: definitely not a place for us. 2A02:1210:5EBF:AF00:A965:27AA:1758:889C (talk) 17:29, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Organizations must meet WP:ORG via independent reliable sourcing. Not what the organization wants to say about itself and not a listing of every organization that exists.
If you wrote the texts, you're a paid editor with a conflict of interest and therefore you're not neutral, which is why we suggest leaving it for someone else to write about it, if it's notable. Star Mississippi 18:03, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon

As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Madchef81, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Madchef81|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. Theroadislong (talk) 08:55, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.
