Early life and family
[edit]Mukhtar was born in Katsina, Katsina State, in northwestern Nigeria. His father Malam Sabo Mohammed Maikudi and Educationist hailed from Katsina town of Katsina State and his mother Jummai Sabo from Rimi town of Katsina State. Mukhtar grow up and spent the highest number of his years in Katsina. He attended Dutsin Amare Primary School, Rimi Model Primary School and Federal Government College Daura all in Katsina State where he obtained Primary and Secondary school certificate respectively. Mukhtar is an alumnus of Ahmadu Bello University where he obtained a degree in Accounting. He later attended Ahmadu Bello University again for an MBA Degree
