Surname

Hi, I. just wanted to let you know per MOS:SURNAME, we use their surname when referring to the subject throughout the article. In Jin's case, his legal surname is Kim, and that's what should be used. Thanks, ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 03:42, 13 August 2020 (UTC)

Unsourced claim

Regarding this edit summary, yes, they likely read the summary. But as they said in theirs, it was still an unsourced claim. If it's mentioned on the Blackpink article, it needs to be sourced in the Blackpink article. Being sourced in a different article does not change the fact it was an unsourced claim on the BP article. Next time, instead of reverting something that's already been reverted, please discuss on the article talk page or ask the reverting editor for further explanation. Happy Birthday!

I was just visiting your talk page to tell you to keep an eye on the Dynamite (BTS song) page because of recent vandal edits and happened to notice its your birthday today. Happy Birthday to you. Have a nice day! Look forward to seeing more of your contributions to the wiki. --Ashleyyoursmile! 11:08, 13 October 2020 (UTC)

Thank you ^^ :) I will try my best to look out for vandals there. SmallPotato talk 16:46, 13 October 2020 (UTC)

Bet You Wanna

Just an FYI: yes the song is out, the info is presented in the article. But the song is to be released as a single on November 10. This is backed up by AllAccess in the singles section. Please don’t change the Infobox again. D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 23:03, 27 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Love, Stargirl, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Romance. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

BTS Be album

Dynamite is confirmed to be one of the tracks for the "be" album

November 2020

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Dynamite (BTS song); that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Kim Dong KyuSpeaking 19:49, 10 November 2020 (UTC)

@AnandaV: Are you for real right now? LOL. You're the one who is reverting everyone. I only reverted you twice. SmallPotato () 19:56, 10 November 2020 (UTC)

Jimin

The original description of the picture before you changed the file on November 6 was "Jimin on the set of the "Boy with Luv" music video, March 2019". Pictures from that photoshoot were used on some of the other members articles and they all followed the same structure. See: Jin, Hoseok and JK. Therefore, I don't see a reason to change it. I also don't think mentioning Dispatch is necessary unless it's an exclusive photoshoot (aka they were only modeling). See: Jin (on the Filmography section) and Yoongi. I don't know if I'm making myself clear but the examples show there is a consensus among editors. - Ïvana (talk) 22:09, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

I see, thanks! Sorry I thought the caption was supposed to be the caption as it was the caption from Wikipedia Commons. SmallPotato () 22:41, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

Somin and the Yoo sisters

"Reverted 1 edit by 2600:1700:BAD0:23C0:987C:FCE0:82EC:91E (talk): Koreanboo is NOT reliable, stop adding this" - whoever you are

How do you know if she's not actually their cousin? 2600:1700:BAD0:23C0:987C:FCE0:82EC:91E (talk) 18:38, 30 November 2020 (UTC)

"Undid revision 991562013 by Lydïa (talk) where's your proof that they're not? It's all over Google. The least you can do is respond to be on your talk/Google it yourself." - yours truly
Typo. I meant to say "respond to me". Also, the "Personal life" section on Somin's page says so as well. 2600:1700:BAD0:23C0:987C:FCE0:82EC:91E (talk) 18:49, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
"Somin has a two older sister, Twice's singer Jeongyeon is also a distant relative of Somin where she is the niece of the wife of Somin's uncle.[4][5][6]" - Somin's "Personal life" section content
Then what does this say? I didn't just bring up Google, I also brought up her article, did you even bother to check? 2600:1700:BAD0:23C0:987C:FCE0:82EC:91E (talk) 19:10, 30 November 2020 (UTC)

MY REQUEST DEALS DIRECTLY with the content of Paragraph 3 Line 1 of Wikipedia page

ITS TOTALLY MINDLESS ARROGANCE ON YOUR PART NOT TO READ WHAT YOU ARE DELETING!Zugzwangerone (talk) 14:49, 1 December 2020 (UTC)

So far on Wikipedia I have removed an entry pointing to Child Pornography! It is incredibly difficult to work with, and on behalf, of people that essentially own Wikipeida because of tenure, it is misusing a process as a bully... it is unacceptable I am totally exacerbated that the imperative is to delete first and never ask questions or think.
Zugzwangerone (talk) 15:07, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
@Zugzwangerone: Sounds like an assumption to me. In the pages where I edit, editors look at what someone did then reverting it. Please stay off my talk page. Lydïa (☎️) 15:14, 1 December 2020 (UTC)

BTS 2 versus 3 Hot 100 debuts?

Hi, I saw you revised my edit to say "three number one Hot 100 debuts" instead of two. I don't believe that is correct -- according to Billboard, they have only had two songs that reached Number 1, Dynamite and Live Goes On, both of which debuted at Number 1. Is there another song that's missing, because it would seem that "two" is correct, rather than "three." Thanks! Rayeverett (talk) 20:54, 3 December 2020 (UTC)

@Rayeverett: Hi, thanks for letting me know. But, BTS did achieve three Number 1s: Life Goes On, Dynamite, and Savage love remix. Happy editing--Lydïa (☎️) 20:57, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
@Rayeverett: Oh, it was debuts. Sorry. --Lydïa (☎️) 20:58, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
@Lydïa: No worries! :-D Rayeverett (talk) 21:33, 3 December 2020 (UTC)

Hello

It was actually a mistake, so sorry for that. I actually was trying to add some content but maybe end up deleting some stuffs..I was not even aware of it. Again so sorry for that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by June 099 (talkcontribs) 17:01, 4 December 2020 (UTC)

Everybody makes mistakes. What's more important is that you don't make those mistakes again. Happy editing --Lydïa (☎️) 17:15, 4 December 2020 (UTC)

Hi, how are you? I hope everything is going well!! I keep editing and changing the Mamamoo picture and yet you keep changing it back, may I know why? We, as their fans, really want to change it to a better more recent picture, can you help us with that? Yil3an7ayeteplzzbat (talk) 22:54, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

@Yil3an7ayeteplzzbat: If you can find an image that is recent and non-copyright, you can put it as a reply on my talk. --Lydïa (☎️) 23:01, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

Lydia

I don't really understand, can you explain a little bit more? Whats wrong with the photo? I would really appreciate it if you did that :)) Yil3an7ayeteplzzbat (talk) 23:04, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

@Yil3an7ayeteplzzbat:, Hello, sorry for the late reply, so the photo has to be non-copyright, so the best place to get those type of photos is Wikipedia commons. The picture has to be recent and clear. --Lydïa (☎️) 15:04, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

Hello! Just a question. ;)

Hello, I'm just asking this for future editing on K-pop related song articles because I am still technically learning the conventions of Wikipedia's Manual of Style. When describing the genre parameter on Template:Infobox song, why is K-pop not used but on the language parameter, Korean is used instead? (e.g. Boombayah and Lovesick Girls) —beetricks ~ talk · email 13:30, 16 December 2020 (UTC)

@Beetricks:, hello, thanks for asking! So K-Pop is, well, Korean pop, but it covers multiple genres, like R&B, Hip-Hop. If you have anymore question please ask! Happy editing --Lydïa (☎️) 16:36, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
