Removal of cast IMDB credits
Hi -- I'm curious why you reverted https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Faces_of_Children&diff=999122615&oldid=999121225 (without comment) my additions to the cast list using IMDB links where there is no Wiki article. Thanks! SmallRepair (talk) 01:33, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi. I can't find the exact guide/policy right now, but we don't link to external sites in the body of the article like that. I've never seen cast lists linked that way, and I've worked on a lot of film articles in the past 15 years or so. Also, Template:IMDb name is for use in the external links section of the person in question. If you need further, drop a post at WT:FILM for more. Thanks. Speedy deletion nomination of Vladimir Krstić (rower)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Vladimir Krstić (rower) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Papers Past
Hey Lugnuts. I've been noticing that many of your New Zealand cricketer articles are coming under fire. It really is a shame that some incompetent editors are now trying to remove notable sportspeople from Wikipedia. Anyways, I've found a source that may help you with proving that some of these New Zealand cricketers meet GNG. At this link, there are digitized newspaper articles from the 19th and 20th centuries in New Zealand, which have proven helpful in trying to find sources (for example, while searching for refs for Thomas Austin (cricketer), I found a whole bunch of cricket reports concerning the man and even an obituary). Either way, I hope that helps. Best wishes, Lettlerhello • contribs 16:12, 26 January 2021 (UTC)

Super Smash and Women's Tournaments
Hi, great work with the Super Smash (cricket) season pages. I have a suggestion for you. Could you please also add the points table and results for the women's tournaments to the Super Smash seasons since 2018-19 where each competition is joint? From 2018-19 the Super Smash consists of both a men's and women's tournament. These pages are 2018-19 Super Smash, 2019-20 Super Smash and 2020-21 Super Smash which currently only feature the men's results and are missing the women's. While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}

"from Swedish Wikipedia"
Hello! I assure I do know that we do not use any other Wikipedia articles, domestic or foreign, as references to reliably source facts. At Gunnar Cederschiöld my edit summary was "from" not "ref:". Swedish Wikipedia has begun to add info boxes via something called "Wikidata-objekt". There were several reliable sources somehow embedded in that in Cederschiöld's case so I couldn't get them from there by what I'd have to call normal editing, as I know it. I've added one source now to the English article. Still don't know how/where to get the rest to transfer. --SergeWoodzing (talk) 11:24, 2 February 2021 (UTC)

is there life left in German cinema task force?
Hi Lugnuts,
I am a user who works mainly in the German Wikipedia, but I thought I would focus some attention here too, for instance on the German Film Award, which seems quite neglected, and is missing most of its potential sub-pages. So I just entered my name in the German cinema task force – and then discovered that "Active Members" is a bit of a misnomer: The first four names haven't been active anywhere in Wikipedia for many years now. The user next on the list, JanderVK is still around, but has less than 50 edits in the last two years. The last user on the list is banned indefinitely – so that leaves you as the only really active member of this task force! Although even you may now be focused more on other things, right? So basically the task force is dead – shouldn't its page own up to this sorry truth somewhere? I will unfortunately not be the one reviving it, since I have plenty tasks in the German Wikipedia that I still want to focus on. But I will work on the German Film Award here, which I can also talk to the Film awards task force about, if there are still active people over there... Greetings from --Sprachraum (talk) 11:33, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
- Hi! I think all the (film) taskforces are technically dead, but that doesn't mean that no one is working on those areas within its scope. I put my name against all the film taskforces when they were setup, and still dip into each of them from time to time in a round-about way. For example, with the German one, I'll be working on the next edition of the Berlin Film Festival, along with anything related to the German submission for the Best International Feature Film at the Oscars. Maybe worth dropping a note at WT:FILM to see if there are any other users interested in German film as a specific area, or those who simply don't know the taskforce(s) exist. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 11:39, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
- Ok thanks Lugnuts, happy to hear you will be working on my hometown festival the Berlinale – always a worthy endeavour, even after it had to move and split up this year due to the pandemic. I'll remove myself from the German cinema task force for now, since I signed on to two others already (Filmmakers and Film awards), that seem to still have a bit of life in them. They should be able to answer most of my questions, but if not I will take up your suggestion and write on the main film project talk page. Have a good day. --Sprachraum (talk) 12:10, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
- No problem. Yes, Berlin is a great city - been there a couple of times. Have a good day too. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 12:25, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
Just curious
Hi Lugnuts,
it's certainly not an important matter, but I'm asking because I'm not well versed yet in the English Wikipedia:
Why was this change in System Crasher, from {{short description|2019 film}}
to {{short description|2019 German fiction feature film}}
wrong? To me (and coming from the what I'm used to in the German Wikipedia), "2019 film" seems too unspecific, even for a short description. Alternatively I had thought about adding the director's name; had you adjusted it in that direction, it would have made sense to me. Having clicked randomly amongst other German films submitted to the Oscars (e.g. The Captain from Köpenick or Nowhere in Africa, there doesn't seem to be an universal standard for the short description that would limit it to just "2019 film". Greetings from --Sprachraum (talk) 12:34, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
- Hi! I was doing some general fixes on the article, and changed the S/D at the same time. As it goes, there was this discussion about the S/D only yesterday. I tend to go for the shortest S/D to keep it simple. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 12:37, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks. So there isn't a standard, but you are trying to establish one. I will adhere to that going forward, and have put that talk page on my watch list. --Sprachraum (talk) 13:19, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
Another thing...
Dear Lugnuts,
sorry to bother you with another learning curve of mine: The topic of deleting redirects has irritated me, because in the German Wikipedia it is considered not just standard but actually good practice to clean up after a page move, by adjusting all the links that led to the old page, and then deleting the old page once there is nothing linked to it anymore. These orphaned pages are routinely speed-deleted by admins within minutes upon request. As I have found out after this and this, the philosophy here in the English Wikipedia is quite different. You seem more worried about breaking possible external links, while the Germans seem more worried about leaving unused/unneeded page rests lying about everywhere! Quite telling, actually.
Again, I am happy to learn and adapt to the standards here, but after this revert today, I seem to still not understand the criteria for deletion, even though I have read through them. In fact I would have thought there is good reason to delete in all three cases:
- The first move, "Bill Johnson (editor)" to "Bill Johnson (film editor)", is something I intend to do all across the Category:Film editors, since there are many different occupations containing the word "editor", and the standard interpretation would be that of a book editor or a newspaper editor. So I feel that film editors should always have the more specific addition – and most already have, but there are quite a few articles that only have an (editor) added to the name. In such a case, I feel that leaving the old page as a redirect is the perpetuation of a false practice; it would be better to make a clean break and establish what should be the standard.
- In the second case, "Vi (editor)", the redirect wasn't even a leftover from a move – it had always been just a redirect to Vi, and since 2015 the far better and more precise redirect Vi (text editor) already exists. Why not then delete the imprecise page, in order to avoid it being used by any article?
- The third case seems to me to be the most clear cut: The German Film Award is called "Deutscher Filmpreis", which is singular, and remains singular even when used to talk about the sum of all the award categories; the event is never called the "Deutsche Filmpreise". Therefore I moved the page German Film Awards 2015 (the only year page in existence) to German Film Award 2015. Now I can live with that redirect remaining, but there was also a redirect called 64th German Film Awards – which was an error, since the 2015 ceremony is actually the 65th. And even if one wants to have such a relink to the not-yet-existent page "German Film Award 2014", one would want to call it 64th German Film Award without an "s". So surely, I thought, this time a speedy delete should happen – but no. Instead, I was advised by Onel5969 to take this to RfD. Ok, so I looked at that page, but please, before I delve into all that complication: Could you (and/or User:Onel5969) advise me on the likelihood of this delete (or the other two above) being approved after RfD? Because if none of these three cases are ever cause for deletion according to the norms here, I will just shake my head in puzzlement and work on more important things. Greetings from --Sprachraum (talk) 15:23, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
- Hi. In short, if the redirect is a likely search term, it is kept. See also WP:CHEAP. The only examples I can think of off the top of my head where they get deleted is an impossible typo, or the term "upcoming film". I wouldn't worry about leaving redirects behind. Hope that helps. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 15:45, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
- Sprachraum, hi. While not going into the philosophy behind the redirects, my action was solely procedural, as your rational for speedy deletion did not appear to meet our criteria for speedy deletion. Rather, I suggested you take it to RfD (Redirects for Discussion). If I was casting a !vote at RfD (which is something I do not do frequently), I would most likely vote to delete, for both the reasons you stated in your CSD, as well as the fact that the redirect is not mentioned in the target. Hope this helps. Onel5969 TT me 15:51, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
- Ok thanks Onel5969. Yes, that helps, and means I will take case No. 3 to RfD. What about the first case "Bill Johnson (editor)", since I will be doing quite a bit of that sort of moving? You agree with keeping that redirect, even though it would always be better to have the more precise (film editor) – and a search would still find the page without the other redirect existing, as I have tested with "James Galloway (editor)" for example?

Dab talk pages
There's no need to create them. At least not if all they will contain is the project banner. You can see its documentation. – Uanfala (talk) 19:20, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
- See above. Maybe an RfC would help. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 20:22, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
- Oh, you've already been told. No, we don't need an RfC, we've got consensus that: a) dab talk pages shouldn't be created if all they will contain is the dab banner, and b) that it's OK to add that banner to talk pages of non-dabs if they're relevant to the dab project, and c) it's fine to add it to talk pages of dabs if they already have some other substantial content. If you would like to change that consensus, you can then start an RfC. But if you're not interested in changing it, then you're expected to stick to it, just like everybody else is. It's not difficult, given that adhering to the consensus will take you less effort than ignoring it. If you feel very strongly about that, sure, do what you want, as long as you're happy to expend effort doing work that others judge to have a net negative value. – Uanfala (talk) 20:46, 5 February 2021 (UTC)

Awards and nominations for A Copy of My Mind
Hi, appreciate that you did a check on the page, but it's really discouraging that you reverted the edits without giving me a chance to provide said reliable sources. All of the information I added were based on reliable, independent sources. These awards are given out in the Indonesian domestic film industry, which you may not be familiar with. I thought the main awards did not require an additional column for Ref. because these are major awards that have individual articles for each year's edition. Even if these were unreliable sources, you could have left me a message and gave, say, 2-3 hours (not even 24 hours) to perform edits to satisfy Wikipedia standards. Now that you've hastily deleted them, I can't undo your change due to conflict and now have to redo the whole thing manually, whereas had you given me a note about it, all I needed to do was add the references to the award table. Again, understand you think you're enforcing the rules, but you could've done it with more consideration. CalliPatra (talk) 15:24, 7 February 2021 (UTC).
- Or you could have added the sources when you added the info, and not leave it 2-3 hours, which can become 2-3 days, weeks, months, etc. Let's face it, you could be hit by a bus tomorrow. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 15:28, 7 February 2021 (UTC)

On 8 February 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Babakale, Ayvacık, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the manufacturing of knife cutlery at Babakale in Turkey goes back to the 1720s, started by masters immigrated from Kazakhstan? Reporting aggressive behavior
Hi, I don't know how to contact an admin to report someone for making aggressive remarks and saw your extensive history so wanted your assistance in the matter. You can see in the following link [1] an editing dispute I had with User:A Simple Human
I provided the fact that the table should be updated according to the source in Cricinfo while User:A Simple Human didn't agree and then made an aggressive remark in the edit history for no reason. I'm not sure how to proceed but I don't think this kind of attitude should be tolerated, especially when I did nothing to provoke such behavior. I hope you can help me by pointing out how to report this person to get a warning against them. Thank you. User:Saimcheeda
- Hi. First step is to discuss the issue with the user on their talkpage. If that goes no-where, then go for the article's talkpage, and ask for other editors of that page to add their input. Still no joy from that, head to WP:ANI, but make sure you have plenty of evidence in the form of page diffs. Hope that helps. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 13:47, 15 February 2021 (UTC)

Move discussion closure
Hi. You closed the move discussion at Talk:WeatherTech SportsCar Championship as "no consensus". Given that of the nine users who took part in the discussion, only one supported the original title, and everyone else either supported one of the proposed titles or were neutral, could you explain the reasoning behind your decision? The majority of people in the end supported the original proposal and frankly I think the arguments behind it were best founded in policy, but also the full series name received support, so a move to either one would have been reasonable in my opinion. Thanks. Carfan568 (talk) 21:44, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
- Hi. I read it as a no consensus to move it to the proposed title. No problem if you want to undo that close and ask for someone else to look at it. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 06:50, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
- Infact, there's not that many neutral votes, but plenty of opposes. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 07:29, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
- In the end there were five supporters and three opposers for "IMSA SportsCar Championship", but as I said I don't think the opposers had strong arguments against using it. "IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship" had four supporters and one opposer. Carfan568 (talk) 15:07, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
- Sorry to bother you, but since I couldn't find information about it, what would be the correct way to undo that close and where should I ask for someone else to look at it? Also, regarding your comment that you read it as no consensus for the proposed title, did you take a look at the other proposed titles (in particular "IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship")? Thanks. Carfan568 (talk) 17:02, 18 February 2021 (UTC)

- Might be best to drop a note at WP:AN to get an uninvolved admin to cast an eye. Just to be clear - I'm neutral on the whole discussion, and was picking off the oldest ones from the request move backlog. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 17:52, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
- Saw the note at AN and took a quick look at the RM. It looks like a WP:TRAINWRECK (carwreck?) and a no consensus close is reasonable given the lack of consensus on where to move it to. While I agree with Carfan568 that there's a consensus that the current title is not ideal, I can't easily figure out what name participants think is better. In that situation, a no consensus close followed by a new RM is probably the best idea. — Wug·a·po·des 23:16, 19 February 2021 (UTC)

- Hi there; i also saw your words at AN and went for a look; though i'm not an admin, i thought a second view might be helpful. The article 2019–20 Regional One Day Cup has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-existent tournament; article created prior to (another) restructuring of Pakistan domestic cricket in 2018 merged the regional and departmental competitions into the 2018–19 Quaid-e-Azam One Day Cup. Article was later moved to current title, presumably to be used (following another restructuring) for the 2019–20 Pakistan Cup competition, but that was ultimately not held due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. wjematherplease leave a message... 15:17, 20 February 2021 (UTC)
Public domain
A claim like that is impossible to directly source. I would have to link to all the records from 1955 and 1956 to prove it. Also, for proof that the book it is based on (and all the movie adaptations before it if you want to get pedantic) are in the public domain due to 95-year expiration, I would have to yet again cite a source that talks about the 95 year rule (at least), if not provide records to prove that those were indeed published and recorded in the Copyright Office at that time. All adding up to about 8 or 10 different sources. It is also kind of weird that I would put a source in to have the reader specifically look for something that isn't there to prove a point.
It just so happens that I know how to check whether or not a film is in the public domain due to having not been renewed, and am aware of the fact that lawyers could potentially say "But wait a minute, it's based on work X which is still copyrighted, therefore the film is still copyrighted despite not being renewed," but in this case they can't do that because Ramona (the 19th century novel) went PD a very long time ago.
So there probably should be a note somewhere on every Wikipedia article about a piece of media, at least in the infobox, pertaining to the copyright status of it, especially if it is in the public domain. It's already (I think) included in Wikidata in some places IIRC, but in order to get the evidence you just have to look for it and know what to look for. I can't point you to a source that directly says, infallibly so, "this work is in the public domain" without therefore also referencing the things I just mentioned. Category renaming frustration
Hi Lugnuts,
I see that you have created plenty of categories for film directors, so could you help me out here on CfD? Either with support for what I propose as a speedy rename, or with some constructive help as to how to go about it in order to achieve a necessary and perfectly proper renaming that costs me the least amount of time and motivation? I experience the myriad bureaucratic obstacles here in the en-WP as life-sapping. Thanks! --Sprachraum (talk) 12:28, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
- Hi. In short, the category should match the article title, esp. when there's two film directors of the same name. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 13:07, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for answering, Lugnuts. As I pointed out in the linked discussion, I've found numerous examples of the redundant (director) being left out in the "Films directed by" category title, including
Films directed by George Marshall and Films directed by Robert Stevenson – both of which you have edited on yourself. Admittedly way back in 2008, but both director's articles at that stage already had the parentheses disambiguation in their article name. I searched through 500 director categories now, and this is far more prevalent than the redundant style; it isn't even close. Are you saying they are all doing it wrong?
- Thanks for answering, Lugnuts. As I pointed out in the linked discussion, I've found numerous examples of the redundant (director) being left out in the "Films directed by" category title, including

Soviet film Othello released in 1955 or 1956?
I changed the release year of Soviet film Othello from 1956 to 1955, because in the Russian version of Wikipedia the release year is listed as 1955. And on Rotten Tomatoes it's also listed as 1955. Watanabe
I met a man named Watanabe recently and have known others with the same last name. So by chance, I looked up the family name and found an article for the short story writer, Sylvia Watanabe, a native Hawaiian. I expanded her article. But I also had remembered a marathoner with that name, and sure enough, I found Kazumi's very brief stub article and added Kazumi's 1960 Olympic Marathon time. His 1960 time wasn't exceptional but I wondered if he'd run better elsewhere. The 1960 Rome Olympic race was the most famous marathon ever and I've read considerably about it and added still more to that article, including for top runners in that competition. Then I ran across his personal best for the marathon and realized at the time he probably ran it, he would have been very close to the world record, so I looked some more. That led me to the data I found today, so the article will have more than a single source and it's a big improvement on the bare-bones article I'd found earlier this month. I really didn't have the time to do either Sylvia's or Kazumi's, so by going down that rabbit hole, I've neglected some things in the "real" world but both were satisfying. I've done 15,000 or so edits in 15 years, but nothing remotely what you have. I've seen your User name frequently on articles I've read or edited. So thanks for the dedication you've given to improving Wikipedia. I'm sure I'm not the only one who appreciates your work. Activist (talk) 14:39, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
- Hi. Thanks for the kind words - always nice to hear others appreciating what I do. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 14:42, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
Hi there. There seems to be a bit of disagreement about this guy. I corrected his DoB per Cricinfo ([8]) as 20 October 1999, which agrees with the PCB ([9]), however Wisden ([10]) and CricketArchive ([11]) have 20 November 1996. In addition, Cricinfo has him as a off-spin bowler, while the others have him as a leg-spinner.
There are also some discrepancies between sources as to the List A matches he played (CI: 5FC/10LA; PCB: 5/7*; Wisden: 5/12; CA: 5/12). The 2 missing games on CI are attributed to a Nisar Ahmed ([12]) and a Nasir Afridi ([13]; now redirected). The "missing" games on the PCB site are from 2016 and 2017, and are just not listed under List A games. The PCB site (DoB 1999) also has lots of dubious match records which would have him playing U-16s at 8 years old and Grade-II cricket for Railways at 10 years old!!
Seems to me like there may be more than one person here, and possibly more than two. What do you think? wjematherplease leave a message... 20:09, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
- Hi. Thanks for your research here. I think it's def. one person, with the DOB in error from one of the sources. Although which one is correct is anyone's guess! Their FC debut does at least match on Cricinfo and CricArchive. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 20:36, 17 March 2021 (UTC)

Notability of coaches
Please have a look at this article Biju George and tell me whether its notable or not, so that I can nominate it for deletion if not notable. Im also not that much aware about the notability of cricketers and coaches. So can you guide me through it. Regards Kichu🐘 Need any help? 16:51, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- Hi. There's no notability (that I'm aware of) just for coaches, so unless there's a lot of coverage on this guy, then it should be deleted. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 17:04, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
In a Year of 13 Moons - Possible Copyright Violation
The IP user who wrote the text of the plot section of In a Year of 13 Moons made 3 edits to the article in 2013 and no edits to Wikipedia since then. You have made some recent edits to the article. Since it appears to be futile to notify the IP user, I thought I should notify someone who is interested in and has recently edited the article about my report of a possible copyright violation concerning the plot section. I posted the concern, brought about by an IP user who made the assertion in the text of the article. The post for investigation is at Wikipedia:Copyright problems/2021 March 21. I posted a template notice in that section of the article and removed the text (now in the history, of course). Please comment at the copyright problems page if you think the report is in error or if you think it is correct, unless you think that is unnecessary. I would appreciate if you would inform anyone else who you think should be notified about this. I made this report because I read the text at the web site https://www.digitallyobsessed.com/r-displaycatalog.php?ID=6155 and it appears to be identical as claimed. The web site has a copyright notice and no creative commons notice. Unless the Wikipedia article came first, I suppose, the claim appears to have credibility and I think it should be investigated. Thanks. Donner60 (talk) 05:13, 21 March 2021 (UTC)
- My compliments on your immense contribution to Wikipedia, by the way. Donner60 (talk) 05:18, 21 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Donner60: thanks for this, and apologies I'd forgotten about the tag on the article from earlier this month. I agree that the plot additions made by the IP are a copy+paste of the text from the ex. website. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 07:36, 21 March 2021 (UTC)

Short descriptions
Hi Lugnuts, just to let you know that WP:SDDATES states that dates of birth and death should be included in short descriptions. Lettlerhello • contribs 15:00, 23 March 2021 (UTC)
- Hi. Thanks for this. I see the text states "The inclusion of a date or date range is encouraged..." so it's not mandatory. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 15:04, 23 March 2021 (UTC)
Please stop creating cricket stubs sourced only to Cricinfo
Hi, I've noticed that you're continuing to create a large number of cricket stubs sourced only to CricInfo. Many of these articles do not pass WP:GNG and others only marginally pass WP:GNG - as I'm continuing to note at the cricket AfDs, sports biographies must pass GNG. I don't mind if you continue to create cricket articles, but can you please make sure to source them properly before making them ready for mainspace? The articles sourced only to statistics pages create more trouble than they're worth. SportingFlyer T·C 23:54, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
ANI thread
There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. SportingFlyer T·C 14:40, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- Lugnuts, please stop creating these articles at least while they're being discussed at ANI. To keep making edits while people are actively complaining about those edits at ANI is to pour gasoline on a fire. It screams "I don't care what my colleagues think." I'd hope instead of ignoring and carrying on, you'd engage substantively with the concerns raised. It wasn't that long ago that you were voting for sanctions for someone for AFDing articles too rapidly. That editor stopped nominating articles during the ANI and slowed down afterwards. That's a good example of a collaborative approach; please follow it. Levivich harass/hound 19:50, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
- You mean the same "colleague" who made a promise not to AfD ANY article in that very same ANI thread and then reneged on that promise? Was that a good example of a collaborative approach? Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 20:03, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Category:1952 in sport wrestling
A tag has been placed on Category:1952 in sport wrestling requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! WP:ANI discussion
I started a discussion about your edits at WP:ANI#Mass-creating articles based on one unreliable source. Fram (talk) 09:05, 29 March 2021 (UTC)

Redirects
It might be more appropriate to list village stubs within the District article. I brought this up in a discussion at Wikiproject Turkey where you're welcome to contribute your opinion. –dlthewave ☎ 17:42, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- Crap! You beat me to it. School has been a pain for me. I don't understand why these villages and neighborhoods don't meet WP:GEOLAND, unless they are census tracts. Scorpions13256 (talk) 21:23, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Scorpions13256: it's early, so just to clarify the double-negative(!) - do you think they DO meet WP:GEOLAND? Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 06:49, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, as long as they are not census tracts. Scorpions13256 (talk) 07:05, 31 March 2021 (UTC)

Dolunay
Hi Lugnuts, you recently redirected Dolunay to Dolunay (disambiguation), but it should go in the other direction - the DAB page should be at Dolunay and Dolunay (disambiguation) should be the redirect. Can you swap these two pages? Thanks, Leschnei (talk) 13:08, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- Done - thanks for the note. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 13:15, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
