This page should not be speedily deleted because... (This is my first wiki-pedia article. Am am not sure of the propper format or layout. http://www.yellowtube.co.za is a new video based search engine, offering users the ability to upload videos for free. Just because the website exists doesn't mean it merits an article here. There needs to be something notable or significant about it; the guidelines here give the notability criteria. Wikipedia is not for promoting or advertising websites. 331dot (talk) 10:01, 28 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Louisvantonder It's not a matter of what I feel, it is a matter of no indication being given in the article, based on the guidelines or otherwise. The guidelines state that a website merits a page if it is discussed in multiple, independent, published works, and/or if it has received an award from a publication or organization. If those are the case here,(or there is some other way it is notable) please indicate that.

Either way, the article needs to be rewritten to be less promotional in tone, with a neutral point of view. To start, the link should be in an External links section at the end, not in the article itself. 331dot (talk) 10:12, 28 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (This is a first for the type of platform as well as a first for the native country this was established in. We are waiting on more external references.
