Notability

[edit]

Upon second consideration and review of sources I have withdrew the tag, the subject seems notable. To help, I'd recommend you read WP:ARTIST and post on Talk:Jan Vanriet an short paragraph on which sources / awards / etc. seem to help the article fulfill the requirements listed there. Thank you for your contribution, --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 07:00, 15 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

References

Just follow the steps 1, 2 and 3 as shown and fill in the details

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Remember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations (There are several kinds of sources that discuss health: here is how the community classifies them and uses them). WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a built-in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN.

  1. While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "cite" click on it
  2. Then click on "templates",
  3. Choose the most appropriate template and fill in the details beside a magnifying glass followed by clicking said button,
  4. If the article is available in Pubmed Central, you have to add the pmc parameter manually -- click on "show additional fields" in the template and you will see the "pmc" field. Please add just the number and don't include "PMC".

We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 04:16, 5 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Edward Hopper, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. freshacconci (✉) 14:28, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have replied to this on your talk page. The source I provided is reliable, from a peer-reviewed art historical journal The Burlington Magazine. This is verified new research correcting older information and should be included in the main wiki text.

You removed a source, adding a new unverified source and are engaging in an editing dispute. You are required to discuss this suggested change on the article talk page without reverting further. freshacconci (✉) 14:30, 1 October 2020 (UTC) I have done so, on the article talk page.[reply]
