Box Critters

[edit]

I moved the page back to Draft:Box Critters. As written, it would almost certainly be deleted if nominated for deletion at WP:Articles for deletion.

Please read WP:Your first article and any pages it links to that discuss notability and sources. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 19:18, 21 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This page is at high risk of deletion. I moved it to "Draft" space for that reason 2 days ago. Since you moved it back to the main encyclopedia, I wanted to let you know that I intend on nominating it for deletion soon unless either 1) I see strong evidence that the topic qualifies for an article in Wikipedia under Wikipedia's notability guideline, or 2) it is moved back to a draft article. Please read WP:Your first article for more information on picking an appropriate topic to write about and writing an acceptable draft of it. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 22:39, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. When the draft has enough evidence that it qualifies for an article, please use the WP:Articles for creation process to submit it for review. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 22:48, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Club Penguin from Box Critters.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Club Penguin from Box Critters.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 05:02, 24 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading File:Box Critter Hamster.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 05:02, 24 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. I really don’t wanna report you, so please stop edit warring. I’m removing a clear copyright violation, please read the link above. Do not restore the picture again. Thank you. Welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions are appreciated, but, in this edit to Box Critters, you removed Articles for deletion notices from articles or removed other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates. This makes it difficult to establish consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Information icon Hi LittleMAHER1! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Club Penguin that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in CBS All Access, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. ViperSnake151  Talk  20:22, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Box Critters

[edit]

Editors are trying to help you avoid your draft getting deleted as well. I suggest you stop reverting their improvements or drop the subject all together as draftspace isn't an indefinite holding area for non-notable subjects. If you continue, I will send it to MFD as I don't see how there is any possible room for reasonable development. CUPIDICAE💕 18:00, 9 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

To add to that: I think it may be best to drop the stick and slowly back away from the horse carcass. I’ve made the draft a stub, and I suggest you stop adding poorly sourced (Twitter and fandom) content that is obvious fancruft. As well, please remember that Wikipedia is not a game manual. Thanks! Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Minecraft into Draft:Minecraft (franchise). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa (talk) 13:32, 1 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia. It is perfectly clear that you are not here to create an encyclopedia, failing WP:NOTHERE and WP:CIR. You said you are getting better, but you absolutely are not. You have done overwhelming amounts of disruptive editing, wasting the time of countless volunteers. You have added obviously redundant stuff just because you don't read the article.[1][2] You say you know what notability is but you absolutely don't, and you do the opposite.[3] You belligerently edit war WP:3RR against the basic encyclopedic concepts of WP:RS and WP:N.[4] You did a hoax.[5] You add tons of junk. Unnecessary, unreliable, uncited, original research, junk.[6][7] WP:FANCRUFT WP:OR There were countless reversions, many of them repeatedly while you edit warred, just in the last month. Stop editing and deeply read all the policies I linked here and a lot more, until you fully understand what an encyclopedia is and how to cooperate with people on a private project that none of us owns. Then stick to correcting typos once in a while or nothing, because Wikipedia is a privilege and not a right. As you have been warned forever, you absolutely can be, and should have been, blocked for any of this.Smuckola(talk) 03:44, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm Sorry. Ok the Elizabeth thing was a joke but most of my edits where under good faith. I generally thought adding (also known as ____) for SMB2 was a good idea, I thought adding the animaniacs part was a good idea. I didn't start a edit war cause all I did was ask why it was reverted and when it was reverted again I left it there. I do read the articles (if I didn't I wouldn't care enough to edit something). I don't see how editing something is disruptive when I genreally feel like what I am doing is good. Also idk if I am taking it the wrong way but I find the way u said it a little rude but if I offended you at all then I'm sorry and I didn't know that there is a bad way to edit. Hi it's KPGamingz and I've seen the new page for the Rugrats revival and the page was a complete mess. You were suppose to use <br/> in the infobox instead of commas and the character photo (which was in a thumb format) was inside the infobox. I've already fixed the page but please be cautious when creating the page. I was going to make the split but you insisted on creating it and most people were messing with the page. If you need anything just leave it bellow with : at the begining and I'll respond back. kpgamingz (rant me🐦) 13:46, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I'm still new to Wiki editing so creating articles isn't my strong point but I am improving. I'm sorry if I caused any harm. The text commands are very weird to me but I'm starting to get better like doing stuff like this. All jokes aside sorry if I caused a mess. This was my first split and I was really eager to do it.
It's ok. I've fixed up the page and if someone tries to vandalise or does disruptive editing, I'll request page protection. kpgamingz (rant me🐦)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Fall Guys Season 1 Logo.jpeg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Fall Guys Season 1 Logo.jpeg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 23:57, 25 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

i've nominated this again for deletion since you've tendentiously moved it out of draft space. VAXIDICAE💉 19:04, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

LittleMAHER1, kindly drop the stick and stop beating a dead horse carcass. I have yet to find a single editor who hasn’t opposed the Box Critters page, except for you. It is clear that the draft will be deleted, and you need to stop clinging on now, before other actions are taken against you to prevent this behaviour in the future. It is clear that this draft was not meant to be, and you said so yourself that reliable sources relating to this subject simply do not exist. This isn’t the first time I’ve told you this, and you don’t have to take my advice, but I have seen behaviour like this before, and it usually ends in a topic ban. The first time he's shown any interest whatsoever in not being blocked from Wikipedia, he promises to stop being an obsessive fancruft nuisance especially by trying to create articles anymore,[8] and his next edit is to propose creating a new article based exclusively on fancruft about something that does not exist.[9] Hasn't listened to anything, hasn't read any linked policy, or even learned to sign comments. So much time and effort wasted by so many experienced people just today alone. WP:TEND WP:NOTHERESmuckola(talk) 05:43, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please calm down. I don't have any intention to be a nuisance! The Cuphead Show does exists idk what makes you think it doesn't. I barely even know what Fan craft is. I have read the policy but signing comments are a little complex ngl. Also when I proposed the new article I never said that I was the one to do it. I thought that maybe someone else will do it but not me. If I was going to do it wouldn't I have already done it without proposing it? I'm not that dumb to do something after told not, I have my limits. I already apologize for my actions throughout the months and said I wouldn't do it anymore. LittleMAHER1 (talk) 15:31, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
And then the next edits were to revert the deletion templates on all the nonfree images he uploaded to another pet fancruft project. WP:ICANTHEARYOU WP:CIR Wp:NOTHERE WP:TENDSmuckola(talk) 18:43, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not create hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at File:Cat-Toon-Network.jpg. Doing so is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. National varieties of English

[edit]

Information icon Hello. In a recent edit to the page Fall Guys, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. (CC) Tbhotch 23:19, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Cakelot1. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Cakelot1 (talk) 01:58, 20 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, just to make it clear Reddit pages and YouTube videos are self-published and therefore can't be reliable sources. Please read WP:RS for more info on what is considered a reliable source. See also WP:RSP for examples of the sort of things Wikipedia is and isn't looking for. See WP:RSPYT and WP:RSPREDDIT for why YouTube and reedit are generally not acceptable. A tag has been placed on File:Fall Guys Season 1 Key Art.webp requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Copying licensed material requires attribution

[edit]

Hi. I see in a recent addition to Draft:Spamton G Spamton (Deltarune) you included material from a webpage that is available under a compatible Creative Commons Licence. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. It's also required under the terms of the license. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this licensing requirement when copying from compatibly-licensed material in the future. — Diannaa (talk) 00:10, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. Non-free rationale for File:Pokemon Presents logo.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Pokemon Presents logo.png.

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Asset 1 4x newLogo.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Asset 1 4x newLogo.jpg.

Thank you. --Min☠︎rax«¦talk¦» 18:15, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Coyote Vs. ACME

[edit]

You might want to edit the Coyote vs. Acme Article again. Some big jerk by the name of Mike Allen is reverting your edits. DukeyDukeyToo (talk) 00:32, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Mike Allen is at it again! He's trying to undo edits! Please add this info in there:

"In March 2024, Patton Oswalt made a statement regarding the movie at the 71st Golden Reel Awards."

--DukeyDukeyToo (talk) 23:55, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

MADE A STATEMENT ABOUT WHAT? And it's all the same "statements": "I wished it would be released. I am upset that it is not". It's nothing new. We should be adding NEW content. Keep this up and you will be reported for WP:NOTHERE. I don't have time for childish behavior. Mike Allen 01:18, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Fall Guys, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Marvel. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Information icon You have recently made edits related to articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. This is a standard message to inform you that articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles is a designated contentious topic. This message does not imply that there are any issues with your editing. For more information about the contentious topics system, please see Wikipedia:Contentious topics.

Account compromised?

[edit]

Hi LittleMAHER1,

These reverts were all unnecessary. Logo isn't written with a capital letter, season 4 was unsourced, you reinstated the spam link and put In July 2023, during Season 4², the player count at one point dropped to 1 player. one freaking leaking plater bro that is nuts how full guys dropped the one player back. Is your account compromised? Did you leave your device unlocked? If that is the case, make sure it doesn't happen again, please. I've seen your edits before, I can't believe you would do a thing like this. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 03:46, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

OH NO, I was trying to revert what that one user was doing by reinstating older archives and hoping it was before that one guy started it. I didn't read the entire article since I assumed they just messed with the images and the front article
I didn't mean to reinstate any of the spam links and I am so sorry for it LittleMAHER1 (talk) 22:03, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That is quite alright, I've had my fair share of incorrect reverts too, don't worry about it! soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 07:06, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
