Spelling

[edit]

→Types of ravers - reverted back to the DICTIONARY spelling

Sorry, did not meant ot cause offence but it is listed as jewellery in Wikipedia but then says jewelery is the American spelling. I just spell checked the whole document (as I noticed a few other mistakes) and it changed them all to English spellings. Rex the first 01:14, 20 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

"Civility"

[edit]

This [1] is unacceptable as an edit comment: see WP:CIVIL William M. Connolley 11:11, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but I don't play by your double standards. Likwidshoe 11:49, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hypnosadist's paranoid fantasy [2] is also unacceptable. Please take a little while to think William M. Connolley 16:27, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I find your message unacceptable. Now what? Once again Connolley - I don't play by your double standards. When you apply the same standards to those who agree with you, I'll be able to take you seriously. Until then, I can see that you're just blowing smoke. Now it's time for you to take a little while to think about what I've just said. Likwidshoe 18:10, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
By the way - thanks for the block. Your little power trip shows me that you can't handle disagreement. I notice that you do no such blocks with people who show far more incivility, but agree with you. Hell, you don't even warn them on their pages as you did mine. Why not Connolley? Care to answer this slam-dunk case of your hypocrisy?
This "encyclopedia" is a joke with admins who abuse such power so cavalierly. Likwidshoe 18:21, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Now what? You can have a bit longer to think about why repeating the same incivility was a bad idea William M. Connolley 21:38, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good grief. You're acting like a petulant child. Your insistence of whitewashing [3] things that you disagree with only make some of my previous points. The record is there and you can't run away from it. "Now what" indeed.
Enjoy your powertrip. Your blocks aren't any kind of punishment. It's actually kind of funny that you take offense so easily while at the same time excusing your own incivility. Hypocrisy, thy name is Connolley. Likwidshoe 23:06, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • second warning - and possibly final warning. These edits[4][5][6][7][8][9] are all inappropriate. Please respect WP:TALK, WP:CIVIL, WP:NPA, etc. The talk page is for suggesting improvements to the article, not for complaining about other editors. Also, be aware of Obama article probation - I will post a note below. If you continue it is likely that you will be blocked and/or banned from editing the talk page.

Also, you should know that a report has been filed at AN/I about your behavior, here.

Thanks, Wikidemon (talk) 09:05, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to the encyclopedia! In case you are not already aware, an article to which you have recently contributed, Talk:Barack Obama, is on article probation. A detailed description of the terms of article probation may be found at Talk:Barack Obama/Article probation. Also note that the terms of some article probations extend to related articles and their associated talk pages.

The above is a templated message. Please accept it as a routine friendly notice, not as a claim that there is any problem with your edits. Thank you. -- Wikidemon (talk)

What? "Second warning"? When was the first?
The hypocrisy is sometimes stunning at this place. *shrugs* Likwidshoe (talk) 09:51, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If nothing else, there's a civility warning from WMC at the top of this section, so that would make Wikidemon's the second. Guettarda (talk) 13:13, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Point of View

[edit]

Maybe it wasn't you but the comment you inserted along with your edit made me suspect you. Either way sorry, but just for reference, if you had read on you would see it has never been brought up for a vote. I thought your edit was fine and actually better than what was previously there, I just suspected you of changing it for political reasons because of the comment you left. Maybe I'm just too sleep deprived. Peace? -too lazy and don't care enough to get an actual wikiaccount. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.118.51.71 (talk) 21:50, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What are you talking about? I don't vandal. If anything, I've cleaned up after a few vandals. Likwidshoe (talk) 05:21, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
