Thank you
[edit]Thank you for reverting the vandalism to my user page. I do appreciate it. I also enjoyed the little "gotcha" on your talk page. --JFreeman (talk) 22:37, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
re: Laura stark
[edit]Redirects to non-existent pages do not need to be listed at WP:RFD. They qualify for speedy deletion. You should tag them with {{db-redirnone}} instead of {{rfd}}. That will be add them to the speedy deletion category and them will deleted shortly. Thanks. -- JLaTondre 13:01, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

re: uselessknowledge.com
[edit]why would it be deleted. i have seen plenty of very long pages about all kinds of websites that have never been put up for deletion. --γιατί Sign Here | ESP. 00:14, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
- In the past, I have created an article on a website and someone put a speedy deletion tag on with a reason of something like: It is about a website, blog or forum. (I don't exactly remember what it said). Kamope · talk · contributions 00:27, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
- Okay I will take that into consideration. --γιατί Sign Here | ESP. 00:37, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

JMilburn's RFA

Hey, you're interested in astronomy; me too! I haven't joined that project though. I might do it some time... | AndonicO Talk · Sign Here 01:08, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
No, I wouldn't change my a; it's just the same as Esperanza, I never added anything green. Also, Kastalia looks almost identical to it. You can be sure that it will be MfD'd, like DarknessLord's page User:DarknessLord/Le Comic. Sorry, but I'd be surprised if it doesn't. | AndonicO Talk · Sign Here 13:03, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
Really? That's surprising, because Kastalia is almost identical! You can see the list of programs esperanza had in the link; some of them have broken away into their own programs. For example: Wikipedia:Stress Alerts was esperanzian. | AndonicO Talk · Sign Here 13:13, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
So that's why you like ghosts so much! Sorry, I've never seen/heard/felt/anything else a ghost, and I don't belive they roam the area where they died, or anywhere else for that matter. I might be convinced if I go through an unexplained situation like yours though. :-) | AndonicO Talk · Sign Here 13:29, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
Well, for that, there's WP:AN/I. By the way, may I ask why you believed in ghosts before that? | AndonicO Talk · Sign Here 01:11, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

Status
[edit]Okay, I went ahead and created these pages for you: User:Kamope/Status2 and User:Kamope/StatusChange2. StatusChange2 has all the identification stuff, and you can control your status with /Status2. At /Status2, where it currently reads "Online", change it to "Offline" or "Busy" and you can get the customized sign for that. To put it on your user/user talk page, just type {{User:Kamope/Status2}} and then it will show up. Hope that helps! Nishkid64 02:15, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
AfD Alert
[edit]An editor has nominated the article Meanings of asteroid names (139001-140000) for deletion, under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the nomination (also see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on why the topic of the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome: participate in the discussion by editing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Meanings of asteroid names (139001-140000). Add four tildes like this ˜˜˜˜ to sign your comments. You can also edit the article Meanings of asteroid names (139001-140000) during the discussion, but do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top of the article), this will not end the deletion debate. [edit]I was just about to go and search for how to do that when you did it for me. Thank you! I'd be grateful for an explanation of how that works if you feel like teaching me. I suspect it's a useful thing to know. Random Passer-by 00:51, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for the barnstar! I'll add it to my collection here (it's not even a little bit as big as Daniel.Bryant's though). | AndonicO Talk · Sign Here 01:04, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
Actually, it works fine when I hover over practical joke, it's when my pointer is over special:mytalk that it fails (because it doesn't work for special pages). It might confuse people if you send them to their talk page and they don't see any new messages though; I suggest you change that, to avoid complaints. | AndonicO Talk · Sign Here 12:27, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

Template:Polygons2
[edit]This message is regarding Template:Polygons2. Enneagon is the polygon name, and the name of the article. Templates don't recognize re-directs. If you create a link in the template that is a re-direct, putting it in the article will still provide a link to the re-direct. Georgia guy 00:00, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
Template:Polygons2
[edit]You replaced {{polygons}} with {{polygons2}} in a lot of articles. Why do you need a new polygons template?
Since {{polygons2}} is empty, it is not useful. For now I reverted all those articles back to containing {{polygons}} from {{polygons2}}. Please do not revert back without further discussion.
You can reply here. Thanks. Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 02:50, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
- Ah I see now. One had to click the "show" button. That is rather confusing though. I would suggest you should have discussed more before moving so many articles to the new template (which you did without any explanation in the edit summary).
- Please discuss more in the future. Thanks. Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 03:07, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

Also, thank you for adding an "uncite" tag to the campaign section of Rise and Fall: Civilizations at War. I don't know if you noticed that it explains Alexander the Great's campaign, but not Cleopatra's. That's because I haven't played it yet. :-P | AndonicO Talk · Sign Here 13:22, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
