Infoboxes

[edit]

The box on the right-hand side is called an infobox. To read more about infoboxes, see H:IB. The article 2022 Buffalo shooting uses Template:Infobox civilian attack, which is a template that already includes these categories. Nythar (talk) 02:57, 15 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

To insert an infobox into an article, you could copy and paste this template (for more templates, see Wikipedia:List of infoboxes). Nythar (talk) 03:00, 15 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Question about inclusion of weapon in infobox

[edit]

hi @LightSonnet! I just wanted to stop by to say that I appreciate you being curious about why it's advisable to have the weapon listed within the "quick facts" or "Infobox" as they're called on Wikipedia.

I too was curious about this and I was grateful to arrive on the talk page and see that you had acted already.

Oh! And welcome to Wikipedia ^ _ ^ If you have any questions while you're editing, please let me know. Stussll (talk) 04:18, 20 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Stussll thanks for the welcome! I appreciate it
