- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). [edit]Hi. I have undone your request at WP:REFUND because the draft was never deleted. At the same time, I have taken the step of submitting the draft for formal review - there was a step you had missed yourself to do that the panda ₯’ 11:26, 23 August 2014 (UTC)
- It also appears that you created the same thing in both DRAFT (where it should be) and as a live article (where it shouldn't)! the panda ₯’ 11:43, 23 August 2014 (UTC)
Nomination of Johncongo (rapper) for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Johncongo (rapper) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Johncongo (rapper) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 16:20, 23 August 2014 (UTC)
- Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Johncongo (rapper). Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. --Finngall talk 03:41, 28 August 2014 (UTC)
- Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Johncongo (rapper). Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. --Finngall talk 13:15, 28 August 2014 (UTC)
- In response to your message on my talk page: The discussion on the article is already ongoing at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Johncongo (rapper), and that is where I recommend that you direct your efforts. By removing the template, you remove a link to the discussion and make it more difficult for editors to contribute to the discussion. Removing the AfD template will not stop the discussion on that page. Repeatedly removing that template is considered to be disruptive and will be treated accordingly--you run the risk of being blocked if you persist in removing this tag.
- Let me know if you have any more questions. Thank you for your time. --Finngall talk 14:25, 28 August 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of Nigerian sportspeople may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
- List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Hello, I'm Donner60. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Johncongo (rapper) with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Donner60 (talk) 03:40, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
Blocked for sockpuppetry
[edit]This account has been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks for sock puppetry per evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Latertinsna. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. Once the block has expired, you're welcome to make useful contributions. If you believe that this block was in error, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Mike V • Talk 16:29, 12 September 2014 (UTC) |
Disambiguation link notification for September 30
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited I Go Dye, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages University of Benin and The Game. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:21, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
I Go Dye
[edit]Hi Latertinsna. I removed your signature from the talk page of the I Go Dye article. You can't just add your signature without saying anything. Versace1608 (Talk) 13:17, 4 October 2014 (UTC) Ofcourse thanks..! Latertinsna 16:34, 8 October 2014 (UTC)
The article I Go Dye has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Article as written does not meet WP:NBASIC and WP:ANYBIO. Substantial evidence of WP:SPIP with sources draw exclusively from blogs and websites. A review of the references reveals significant use of content that appears to be re-packaged press releases and no use of WP:RS. In addition, multiple editors in this article appear to have a WP:COI based on their edit pattern. These include USER: Latertinsna, USER: Kfishmauwo, USER:Ddluv09
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Volcom95 (talk) 02:05, 23 June 2022 (UTC)
