RfA Thank You

My RFA passed today at 75/2/1 so I wanted to thank you for your participation in it. Special thanks go to GlassCobra and FlyingToaster for their nomination and support. Cheers! --Rosiestep (talk) 01:39, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

RfA Thanks

Thank you for participating in my recent RfA, which was unable pass with a final tally of (45/39/9). I plan on addressing the concerns raised and working to improve in the next several months. Hopefully, if/when I have another RfA I will win your support. Special thanks go to MBisanz, GT5162, and MC10 for nominating me. Thanks again, -download ׀ sign! 01:38, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

Hi, I tagged it as a copyvio, because it's a pieced together article of a half dozen or so different articles. So I picked one. The section "Importance of Financial Institutions" is a direct copy+paste of the source I provided. If you'd like me to find every single copied word, I'll do that, but I figured that just reading it you can tell it's pulled from somewhere, and providing one of the sources was good enough.--Terrillja talk 06:41, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Restore

Could you please restore my sandbox page? User:Killiondude/Sandbox. I use it for a lot of different things, right now to show how a certain parameter would work with that template that was in it. Thanks for quickly deleting the page I did mark for deletion though :-) Killiondude (talk) 06:42, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Oh, I see why you deleted my sandbox now. I just had the template in my subpage histmerg'd to where it belongs, and so my sandbox had a redlink template in it. No, I don't need the /template test page restored, thank you though! Killiondude (talk) 06:51, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
Sorry to keep giving you orange bars, but could you please re-delete this revision though? I had that revision deleted awhile ago, but I think you fully restored the page and brought it back. Thanks again for your help :-) Killiondude (talk) 06:53, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
Thank you very much, I appreciate it. Killiondude (talk) 07:27, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Hello, I see that you removed another editors prod of the Domain Day article on the grounds that notability was asserted. However, the claim of notability is suspect and doesn't have the support of any reliable sources. If you believe that this article is about a truly notable subject, would you be willing to improve the article and adding reliable sources that establish its notability? ThankSpam

My RfA

Thank you for participating in my "RecFA", which passed with a final tally of 153/39/22. There were issues raised regarding my adminship that I intend to cogitate upon, but I am grateful for the very many supportive comments I received and for the efforts of certain editors (Ceoil, Noroton and Lar especially) in responding to some issues. I wish to note how humbled I was when I read Buster7's support comment, although a fair majority gave me great pleasure. I would also note those whose opposes or neutral were based in process concerns and who otherwise commented kindly in regard to my record.
I recognise that the process itself was unusual, and the format was generally considered questionable - and I accept that I was mistaken in my perception of how it would be received - but I am particularly grateful for those whose opposes and neutrals were based in perceptions of how I was not performing to the standards expected of an administrator. As much as the support I received, those comments are hopefully going to allow me to be a better contributor to the project. Thank you. Very much. LessHeard vanU (talk) 18:37, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

Hey, I think I've addressed most of your concerns regarding Manitoba. Feel free to take another look whenever you have a minute, and tell me if there's anything else that needs to be done. Thanks, Nikkimaria (talk) 15:48, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

Hello, I've recently tried to restore this page to a version which can be improved upon (a non-protected, non-disambiguation page) and I wondered if I could get your opinion about whether it is currently up to the quality which we expect of every Wikipedia article. I would appreciate your comments on the article at User:Cdogsimmons/Estonia–Luxembourg relations on the talk page there, and further improvements that would get it closer to inclusion status are always welcome. Thanks.--Cdogsimmons (talk) 23:05, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

While it is true that there are lots of keep !votes on this AfD I do not think that a snow close as keep was appropriate for the following reasons:

  • There has been no confirmation that this list is not a copyright violation. The most recent factual statement said that exemption from the usual copyright was granted to Wikipedia - not something that is acceptable.
  • Many of the keep !voters did not address the copyright or other issues (is having everything encyclopaedic?).
  • Quite a few !votes came from apparent single purpose accounts.
  • Assuming that there is no copyright problem, when you subtract the comments from those who do not give a reason related to policy (which doesn't leave many), there is no obvious consensus either way. Thryduulf (talk) 10:55, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

Rosser and Skinny Blonde

Hi - wondering if you can assist at Hamish Rosser which has been templated-to-death [1] by an anon ip after I reverted the deletion of sourced material and also at Skinny Blonde where referenced sources are also being reverted as not WP:RS by the same/similar ip [2]. Would a semi-protect be any good? Cheers,  florrie  23:13, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

I don't know that it's serious enough to warrant an s-protect yet, but in my view you're justified removing the ridiculous overtagging. You might also be interested in this DRV entry created by the same user. Lankiveil (speak to me) 10:52, 3 August 2009 (UTC).

All I removed was a tag; I think you could have found a better template. Did you miss my comment in the edit? Hi

Hello - I just typed up essentially the same question as your #13 here, when I noticed that yours was already there. While I feel that humor is important in any situation, there are also times to be serious so that comment concerns me. The only thing I would point out is that all 4 of his BOT's talkpages have the same misleading text. Not sure if you want to expand your question to reflect that, but I wanted to let you know just in case. Regards.  7  11:56, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi there, thanks for the headsup. I still think that LaraBot is probably the worst, since it's the one most likely to be seen by people that don't understand MZMcBride's sense of humour, but it's a valid point for all of the bots so I've expanded the question. Given the issues raised in Q14, I'm going to need a phenomenal answer from him(?) to Support. Lankiveil (speak to me) 12:02, 28 August 2009 (UTC).
Ditto. I'm all for a good joke and I'm no prude but Q14 was a bit much - when you feel uncomfortable checking WP at work... However the person that he sent that to and some other editors didn't seem to mind.  7  12:49, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
I agree completely. I wouldn't be offended having that on my talk page, but I don't imagine my boss or my grandmother would see it the same way if they happened to walk by while I was viewing that. Lankiveil (speak to me) 13:12, 28 August 2009 (UTC).

Thank you for your support

Unfortunately, my RFA was closed recently with a final tally of 75½/38/10. Though it didn't succeed, I wanted to thank you for your support and I hope I can count on it in the future. Even though it didn't pass, it had a nearly 2 to 1 ratio of support and I am quite encouraged by those results. I intend to review the support, oppose, and neutral !votes and see what I can do to address those concerns that were brought up and resubmit in a few months. If you would like to assist in my betterment and/or co-nominate me in the future, please let me know on my talk page. Deletion of Rigidity_(accelerator_physics)

Hi, Apologies if this is not the correct manner in which to bring this up, but I am relatively novice at Wikipedia.

I recently added to the article on Rigidity_(accelerator_physics), and I am very surprised that it has been moved to Rigidity_(particle_physics) and deleted. While it may seem like a minor matter to you, I would like to note that I am a lecturer in accelerator physics at a major British university, and the rigidity of the particles that make up the beam is of major importance in our field. Would it be acceptable for me to undo the move to particle physics, perhaps leaving behind a link to the accelerator physics article?

Many thanks for reading, and apologies once again if this is not the correct method to bring this to your attention.

Complex

Hi, you seem to be understanding and exaggerating somewhat your idea of the proposals. this is actually much more simplified and condensed both in number of parameters and actual size than th redundant one. Did you honestly examine how each template functions first? Himalayan 20:55, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

Yeah I agree that things would be better discussed with wikiprojects who use the templates as I believe eahc one is different. Conflict at TFD is unnecessary I think, but some of the people who voted keep for inaccurate templates like Bangladesh for instance got to me personally because I spent hours making 64 district maps to rid of the old district pin pointers and clean them up!! Same with the Austrian template being in German that people voted to keep and I want to add municipal maps to all of them but cannot understand them and there is no way currently to add a municipal map as far as I am aware... As it stands they are all missing basic maps....P.S. I noticed at least you acknowledged the flaws in some of the templates such as the Infobox Indonesian Regency for instance so I appreciate that even if the others didn't. Above all some of the nominations are for templates which I see as redundant or if I nominated a template like Aus before it was only because I couldn;t add a map locator to it so I saw it as seriously flawed. I'm glad you have now adapted the current infobox to include maps in articles like [{Canberra]] etc thanks to my request so I at least succeeded in part. I do a lot of work with maps on here and have been arranging for better quality svgs with NordNordWest on all world countries. All I want to see is some consistency and do my best to improve quality, Regards. Himalayan 11:16, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

Relisting of MMA HEAT

Can you please help me understand why the MMA_HEAT article was deleted and what it was missing in order for it to be considered a valid article. I modeled the article after numerous other articles related to the same industry, i.e. Sherdog, Fighting Spirit Magazine, Faust (magazine), etc.

MMA H.E.A.T. is a valid news entity whose content is syndicated with IMG, The Fight Network, KDOC - Los Angeles, MMA Jacked, FrankShamrock.com, etc. I would simply like to know what proof is required to validate the article. Thank you. Eckinc (talk) 17:45, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

Thank you for taking the time to explain the reasoning behind the deletion of my article. Regardless of the permanent outcome, if you could e-mail me the original article's content I would appreciate it. You can e-mail info@eckinc.com.
In the interest of providing further support for my claim, MMA H.E.A.T. has appeared in independent and reliable newspapers: i.e. Sports Illustrated's Joss Gross has cited MMA H.E.A.T. and Karyn Bryant as an authority on the female perspective of MMA on radio interviews. MMA H.E.A.T. has been on HDNet's television program "MMA Worldwide," epsidode "Nor Cal MMA" originally airing 9/25/2009. MMA H.E.A.T.'s video news updates appear throughout the highly respected MMA site, http://www.promma.info. In addition, Pro MMA's Cage Divas recently approached MMA H.E.A.T. to have it's co-founder, Karyn Bryant, as a guest on their show: http://prommainfo.podbean.com/2009/09/15/cagedivas-episode-2-featuring-keri-anne-taylor-and-karyn-bryant. MMA H.E.A.T. has also provided video content to M-1 Global, MMA Payout, MMA Jacked and Frank Shamrock. To address the concerns posted by user 82.7.40.7, iBN Sports is an independent corporation and entity. They provide coverage for a large number of sports and approached MMA H.E.A.T. to provide coverage of mixed martial arts. Despite iBN Sports and MMA H.E.A.T.'s joint efforts, the two are independent of each other. http://www.ibnsports.com/inthenews.aspx?article=xml/pressrel/bryant.xml and http://www.ibnsports.com/prArticle.aspx?article=14 should be considered as third party, reliable sources discussing MMA H.E.A.T. Eckinc (talk) 05:41, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

Username

I would assume simply reporting him to WP:UAA probably isn't the best way to approach Eckinc violating WP:ORGNAME (per above, info@eckinc.com etc.). Any suggestions on how to best handle it, and also do you have any advice on dealing with situations like this where an account/person is only interested in promoting some entity as in this case? I've seen nothing to indicate the website(s) is notable (including reading the above which seems to basically say "Karyn Bryant reports on MMA, so a website she's associated with is clearly notable"), but even if it's determined to be so I don't think this is a practice we should encourage. Thanks, --aktsu (t / c) 07:43, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

  • I've been contributing to Wikipedia for over two years now w/o any problems. The choice of my username was deliberate, so that I wouldn't be misleading anyone. I was attempting to be 100% transparent. The feedback I've received these past few days from Aktsu and other adminstrators has been anything but friendly. I'd be happy to change my username. I simply ask that the "administrators" treat me with respect and adult-like behavior. Not all of us aspire to be Wikipedia gurus. I'm simply a casual user trying to assure the accuracy of this free encylopedia. I have personal access to many world famous athletes and A-list Hollywood celebrities. It seems counter-productive to claim all of my postings, based on first hand knowledge, are automatically a conflict of interest. Eckinc (talk) 21:39, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
As much as I don't like conducting binding discussions on my user talkpage, I don't see any need for something as heavyhanded as a block in User:Eckinc's case. Lankiveil (speak to me) 11:03, 7 October 2009 (UTC).

Pain Hertz

Thanks for the AGF and CIVIL remidners at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pain Hertz... I just wanted to make sure you noticed that I did actually (according to what's on that page, anyway), convince King that there was an argument for point 6 at WP:MUSIC. If you're more inclined to go with tallying the delete votes than going with that argument (which some people thought was tenuous anyway), that's fine - it just wasn't clear from your wording that that was the case. Anyway, thanks again for summarizing it that way.. Luminifer (talk) 15:57, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

Request for a decision - Socionics arbitration between rmcnew and tcaudillig

Can you guys please hurry up and make a decision? This is just getting more and more rediculous the more it drags on and tcaullidig keeps talking loads of crap about me concerning things that happened outside of wikipedia and is now even claiming to have in his posession some supposed database of a website I owned and never gave him permission to have. I think he is just bullshitting about it or in the event he does have it may have obtained it illegally through some slight of hand methods and is now trying to blackmail me with it.

And also, I would be perfectly alright with receiveing a 3 month ban from wikipedia per my own request, as editing here gets sort of addictive and I think I should have a break from this place. Feel free to give tcaullldig a ban too for other reasons. He seems to have given wikipedia a couple already. Ad hominem attacks, insulting other editors, being uncooperative with other editors, and claiming to have illegially stolen an internet database, personal, and other information from specific editors with blackmail threats being legitimate reaons for that ban. This information against tcaulldig is all recorded and accessable from a talk page in the arbitration area. Thanks. --Rmcnew (talk) 16:16, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Just a heads up

Hi. I wanted to let you know that the OTRS permission we received at Talk:Victor di Suvero is in question due to a note left by the purported content creator that suggests that Pennywhistle may not own the copyright, but that the material may have been copied from the GALE Authors Biographical Series. Very strange. :) (The article was listed at today's CP board listings.) I don't have access to that book, but will see if I can track it down so we can iron this out. Meanwhile, I've blanked it again. Since you placed the note, I thought I'd let you know. (You don't have access to that book, do you? :D) --Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:59, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the headsup. It is somewhat frustrating when this sort of thing happens, isn't it? Lankiveil (speak to me) 21:05, 9 November 2009 (UTC).

Re: Deleted Article

Hi there, that was a speedy service! :-) I've posted the information per request from Mrs. Zegart, and then saw the automated bot message. I've requested Mrs. Zegart to forward the letter of copyright release to Wikipedia OTRS, she should be contacting Wikipedia. Please let me know if you have any questions, or if there is anything else I can do at this point. I appreciate your help. --WDLLLC (talk) 02:33, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

Editor Review of Gaelen S.

I have done an editor review of your coachee (I assume that they are still receiving coaching). Feel free to add to it, or to contact me should you feel that I am wrong in any of it.

I have notified Gaelen S. that I have informed you about the review, and advised them to discuss it with you.

The review is here.

Removal of PROD from Lamento -Beyond the Void-

Hello Lankiveil, this is an automated message from SDPatrolBot to inform you the PROD template you added to Lamento -Beyond the Void- has been removed. It was removed by Closedmouth with the following edit summary 'already been deleted once via prod, take it to afd'. Please consider discussing your concerns with Closedmouth before pursuing deletion further yourself. If you still think the article should be deleted after communicating with the 'dePRODer,' you may want to send the article to AfD for community discussion. Thank you, SDPatrolBot (talk) 19:50, 27 November 2009 (UTC) (Learn how to opt out of these messages) 19:50, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

User: 218.186.12.233

You recently placed a "last warning" notice on the talk page of User:218.186.12.233 for vandalism. I have just now reverted obvious vandalism to house fly by that user. Since I am unfamiliar with the methods of warning and punishing repeat offenses, I will refer this to you in hopes that it can be successfully mediated. Cheers! 2010 WikiCup Signups Reconfirmation!

To ensure that everyone who signed up is still committed to participating in the 2010 WikiCup, it is required that you remove your name from this list! By removing your name, you are not removing yourself from the WikiCup. This is simply a way for the judges to take note of who has not yet reconfirmed their participation. If you have not removed your name from that list by December 30th, 2009 (by 23:59 (UTC)) then your name will be removed from the WikiCup.

It's worth noting the rules have changed, likely after you signed up. The changes made thus far are:

  • Mainspace and/or portal edits will not be awarded points at all.
  • Did you know? articles (which were worth 5 points last year) will now be worth 10 points.
  • Good articles (which were worth 30 points last year) will now be worth 40 points.
  • Valued pictures will be now awarded points, however the amount (5 or 10 points) is still being discussed.
  • Featured lists (which were worth 30 points last year) will now be worth 40 points.
  • Featured portals (which were worth 25 points last year) will now be worth 35 points.
  • Featured articles (which were worth 50 points last year) will now be worth 100 points.
  • Featured topics (which were worth 10 points per article last year) will now be worth 15 points per any article in the topic that you were a major contributor to.
  • Good topics (which were worth 5 points per article last year) will now be worth 10 points per any article in the topic that you were a major contributor to.
  • In the news will still be awarded points, however the amount (5 or 10 points) is still being discussed.

If you have any final concerns about the WikiCup's rules and regulations, please ask them now, before the Cup begins to avoid last minute problems. You may come to the WikiCup's talk page, or any of the judge's user talk pages. We're looking forwards to a great 2010 WikiCup! On behalf of the WikiCup judges, iMatthew talk at 03:44, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

socionics arb case request to include niffweed

On account of niffweed's confession to making bad faith accusation towards other editors, niffweed should be included in the judgment and his actions investigated for sake that he had intentionally caused contention with accusations of bad faith, misuse of wikipedia conduct reporting in place of positive cooperation, and in place of any potential or expected cooperation caused negative escalation of conflict between the editors by his actions. --Rmcnew (talk) 02:17, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

Clerk procedures page

Just trying to update this whenever I find something it doesn't include. I'm a it confused. here you write (substing {{ACMajority}}), which worked so far as I can tell, but the procedures say Subst the {{ACA|Casename}} on the proposed decision talk page by adding subst: to the beginning of the template. (I just added the last bit starting with 'by adding'. Is that what you actually did? Thanks. Dougweller (talk) 17:11, 12 December 2009 (UTC)

If you haven't already, please look at what Carcharoth has said about the two templates here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dougweller (talkcontribs) 16:05, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

I would appreciate it if you took another look at Caansnews since that was intended as an example for term glocalisation. The text was directly from our own website so readers can understand what glocal means by looking at the example. Caansnews (talk) 03:22, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

The Valley Girl Show deletion

What doesn't make sense is how did this article: [3] remain if it only has two unreliable references and The Valley Girl Show had a lot more?? ATC . Talk 04:41, 26 December 2009 (UTC)

Oh, okay I saw WP:Other stuff exists and does that mean that other articles could've or could've not be deleted for the right reason? Okay thanx for explaining to me the controversie rules. ATC . Talk 05:47, 26 December 2009 (UTC)
Also is there a way I can retrieve everything from the article to put in a sandbox: User:ATC/Sandbox/The Valley Girl Show until more sources become available so I can eventually re-create the article. Thanx! ATC . Talk 05:16, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

I would appreciate it if you took another look at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nicholas Perrin and reconsidered your judgment of "no consensus". The only !votes for keep were from the article's creator, one other editor, and an account that appears to be a sock puppet. The !votes for delete came from myself (the nominator) and 2 other editors that point to specifics in WP:PROF and WP:BIO that this article fails to meet. Much of the interwiki linking that the article creator discuses in this AFD was recently created by him/her. Though there weren't a lot of editors participating in this discussion (5 + a possible sock), the delete !votes pointed to specifics in Wikipedia guidelines in their concerns.--RadioFan (talk) 14:22, 26 December 2009 (UTC)

DYK nomination of Agat computer

Hello! Your submission of Agat computer at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and there still are some issues that may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! Materialscientist (talk) 05:26, 27 December 2009 (UTC)

I replied at T:TDYK, and will just repeat that here - the hook and its support are Ok (I think I used that type of computers :-) but the article content needs more references. We usually require at least one reference to cover each paragraph. 20x is approximate because of various salary grades and their variations across the (vast) USSR. The dollar exchange rate (I recall it was 0.9 rouble/$) and the computer price (~4000 roubles depending on the model) were fixed. Materialscientist (talk) 07:27, 27 December 2009 (UTC)
It is good enough for DYK (I approved the nomination there). Regarding russian references, I do believe they are most accurate in all areas related to russian history (with complete understanding of propaganda-related POV, which must be filtered out). I myself very rarely edit Russia related articles, but I am always glad to help - don't hesitate to ask. For example, I've done much background translation and image work for Nikita Zotov. DRV

In Wikipedia:Deletion_review/Log/2009_December_28#File:Angry students turning over police cars.jpg you said "and nobody argued for keep other than the nominator." [emphasis added] Did you mean "and nobody argued for delete other than the nominator."? davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 18:08, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

The 2010 WikiCup begins tomorrow!

Welcome to the biggest WikiCup Wikipedia has yet seen! Round one will take place over two months, and finish on February 26. There is only one pool, and the top 64 will progress. The competition will be tough, as more than half of the current competitors will not make it to round 2. Details about scoring have been finalized and are explained at Wikipedia:WikiCup/Scoring. Please make sure you're familiar with the scoring rules, because any submissions made that violate these rules will be removed. Like always, the judges can be reached through the WikiCup talk pages, on their talk page, or over IRC with any issues concerning anything tied to the Cup. We will keep in contact with you via weekly newsletters; if you do not want to receive them, please remove yourself from the list here. Conversely, if a non-WikiCup participant wishes to receive the newsletters, they may add themselves to that list. Well, enough talk- get writing! Your submission's page is located here. Details on how to submit your content is located here, so be sure to check that out! Once content has been recognized, it can be added to your submissions page, from which our bot will update the main score table. Remember that only articles worked on and nominated during the competition are eligible for points. Have fun, and good luck! Garden, iMatthew, J Milburn, and The ed17 19:20, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

I request that you take back my bann

I am reposting this here since you didn't answer, you can see my reply here: [4]

I am requesting that you take back my bann here

The information the other admin gave you was not true, please take a look at what I have written. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 20:42, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

Hello Lankiveil, thats just it! I did not do that edit that I asked about! I asked wizardman about this edit: [5] The adding of "jabal al druze" to a sentence where she talks about her childhood which I interpenetrated could be a violation against my topic bann since I am not allowed to change the ethnicity of a person, thats why I asked about it to wizard, admin cactus later told you that i did the edit and you now repeated that I did, but I did not! The edit here: [6] Is a completely different sentence that has no connection to the one I asked about. There is nothing connected to the sentence I asked about to wizard. And I did not change the meaning, I did not take out or ad anything to the meaning, I only corrected the grammar. "rather than Jabal" is like saying "rather than mountain" its either "the Jabal" (the mountain) or the complete name "Jabal al-Druze". What I am requesting is that you strike out the edit you did here: [7] And make a comment, explaining that I did not violate my topic bann or restriction. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 10:27, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
Yes I would like you to raise the issue with a second arbitrator, please direct that arbitrator to my posts defending myself that I did not do that edit, but a separate one. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 16:46, 3 January 2010 (UTC)

DYK for Agat computer

Updated DYK query On January 3, 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Agat computer, which you created or substantially expanded. You are welcome to check how many hits your article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check ) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Ramon Magsaysay image

Hello. It will be a bad idea to re-upload the deleted image here. It would almost certainly be deleted again because (a) there is an image commons:File:MagsaysayRamon.jpg and (b) the image that was deleted is not PD in the US which is what matters here. It will be better to upload this on Commons and take a chance with the URAA. The correct license tags on Commons would be {{PD-Philippines}} and {{Not-PD-US-URAA}} [doesn't exist here as you can see from the red link but does on Commons]. Hope this helps, Angus McLellan (Talk) 00:12, 5 January 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, I have removed your DYK for which you wanted to claim points- I'm afraid only articles worked on and nominated during 2010 are eligible. Also, in future, please link to the DYK nomination on T:TDYK in your submission. J Milburn (talk) 13:26, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
