Your recent edits to Safety of electronic cigarettes
[edit]The part "While there is a consensus that e-cigarettes are almost certainly much safer than smoking tobacco cigarettes" is similar to existing text. There is currently information in the article that says "A 2014 systematic review found that the limited evidence suggests that e-cigarettes are probably safer than tobacco smoke.[11]" See Safety of electronic cigarettes#Health benefits and concerns. You also added two sources that do not meet WP:MEDRS for medical claims.[1] QuackGuru (talk) 17:22, 23 April 2015 (UTC)
This sentence was misplaced and is similar to an existing sentence in another section. "While there is a consensus that e-cigarettes are almost certainly much safer than smoking tobacco cigarettes." QuackGuru (talk) 07:05, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
General sanctions
[edit]Please read this notification carefully:
A community discussion has authorised the use of general sanctions for pages related to electronic cigarettes.
The details of these sanctions are described here.
General sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after he or she has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. This notification is meant to inform you that sanctions are authorised in these topic areas, which you have been editing. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.
This message is informational only and does not imply misconduct regarding your contributions to date.

References
[edit]We at Wikipedia love evidence-based medicine. Please cite high-quality reliable sources. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations. A list of resources to help edit such articles can be found here. The edit box has a build in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN. WP:MEDHOW walks through editing step by step. We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 07:03, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
Thank you Doc James, I'm getting my head around the source requirements and will do my best to correctly format any future references Lancer2K (talk) 07:28, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
