Hello, Lancelot54321. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Parsis / Zoroastrians in The United Kingdom, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Roches (talk) 13:57, 21 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

(The above message is generated automatically; this is a message explaining why I marked the article for deletion.) The article ends with "All Rights Reserved (c) 2015 Zoroastrian Foundation UK". Wikipedia cannot host copyrighted information. Please see WP:COPYVIO for more information about copyright policy.

I'm not an administrator, I just reviewed the article and noticed the copyright statement. Since this does not appear to be an exact copy of information available elsewhere on the web, I didn't flag the article as a definite copyright violation, although someone else could do that. Also, because the article makes assertions about living people, someone might flag it for deletion for another reason. In any case, you'd be informed of what you can do.

The copyright policy will explain what you can do if you are the owner of the copyright. Note that anyone can edit the article and you cannot control the content if this is done. If you are not the owner, then the article must be deleted, although you or someone else could write an article on the same subject that does not use copyrighted material. A tag has been placed on File:Sir Neville Cawas Bardoliwalla KBE, OBE.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Thank you for telling us about some information with regards to your photo that you have uploaded. But what does "Image ratified by Brigadier Archie Miller-Bakewell- Private Secretaries to the Duke of Edinburgh & Sir Michael Peat KCVO - Principal Private Secretary to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II" mean? Does it mean that this has been released under a Wikipedia compatible licence? Or has it been released under the public domain? Please clarify. To add to the message above, you have been repeatedly trying to add a link to a file which does not exist. Under a number of other accounts and IPs you have been trying to add mentions of someone called Neville Bardoliwalla whom you have been referring to as "Sir" and as "KBE". I see no evidence of such an honour for someone of that name, but in any case there is no obvious reason for referring to him in this article. The only grade of the Order whose current members are listed here is that of GBE. --David Biddulph (talk) 19:24, 24 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia. - You are wasting reviewers' time with your spurious submission at User:Lancelot54321/sandbox. It is equally unacceptable for you to vandalise the article at Order of the British Empire under a different account name; see WP:sockpuppetry. - David Biddulph (talk) 07:57, 25 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
