[edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. [1] MrOllie (talk) 12:49, 24 March 2023 (UTC)
- I apologize for any inconvenience caused by my previous edits.
- Regarding the article, I made the edits because the information was not up to date. In 2010, Gartner published the "5 R's" model which defined the fundamental options for migrating an application to the cloud. Since then, the model has been updated and extended to 6 options. Additionally, I noticed that the options mentioned on the article like Application Assessment and Application Discovery are not the migration options.
- Therefore, I would like to edit the whole modernization options section and update them to reflect the latest industry trends and best practices. I understand the importance of maintaining the quality and accuracy of Wikipedia content and will ensure that my edits adhere to the relevant guidelines and policies.
- Thank you for your understanding and guidance on this matter. If you have any further questions, please let me know. Kumaran66 (talk) 05:03, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
