Information icon Hello, I'm Οἶδα. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Katie Halper, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Οἶδα (talk) 18:35, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Information icon Hello, I'm Herostratus. I noticed that you made a comment on the page Talk:Mariah Carey that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Herostratus (talk) 12:17, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please read MOS:NUMERAL before making similar edits. Thanks! The Grid (talk) 00:45, 18 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Fuck wit Dre Day (And Everybody's Celebratin'), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Diss. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:14, 28 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Despite already having had a block you continue to ignore MOS:NUMERAL and proceed with what can only now be described as deliberate disruptive editing. Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Twelve-bar blues. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing

[edit]

You've been blocked twice for disruptive editing and violating the Manual of Style (specifically the one on MOS:NUMERALS) yet you continue with your pattern of disruptive editing. Your page is just jam packed with warnings and you don't seem to want to use talk pages. Since this disruption has been going on for a very long period of time without you changing your editing patterns, it comes across that it is a deliberate choice and not just mistakes or lack of knowledge. You've been pointed to all out policies, guidelines and MOS on multiple occasions and your time here is more than sufficient for you to have become aware of what is expected of editors on the project. So at this point it's one of a couple of options. 1) You're deliberately making these edits. 2) You're unable to understand the editing expectations. I'm not sure which is it, but I'm giving you one final warning of your disruptive edits. The next time you make a disruptive edit on Wikipedia you will be blocked indefinitely. So here is your chance to prove that you can edit in a collaborate manner according to our MOS, guidelines and policies. Canterbury Tail talk 14:04, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As you have decided, of your own free will, to continue disruptive editing, and as you were very clearly warned of the consequences of continuing disruptive editing above, you have been blocked from editing. You have clearly demonstrated that you do not care about any of our policies, guidelines or even any respect for fellow editors and it's obvious through your choices that you have no intention to change and as a result you're not a fit for the project.
