Citations
[edit]Hi, thanks for your contributions but I'm afraid I removed the citation you added to mood swing. It's not really a reliable enough source, and is a commercial site selling remedies. For a psychology article, the best sources to use would be scholary sources like articles from peer-reviewed journals. You can read more at Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources. Sorry to have to revert one of your first edits! --BelovedFreak 23:12, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
Week 2 assignments
[edit]I didn't see where you critiqued an article on a talk page. If you do that this week I'll still give you some credit for the assignment, but be sure to post about it on my talk page.
The reference you added to Mood swing was formatted correctly, but unfortunately it did not appear to be a "good" source. See WP:SOURCE for a guide as to what kind of sources are good to use for wikipedia articles.
- Mental block - This might be ok, but it appears that the article is actually about Psychological repression and Tip of the tongue so before working on this make sure that it is an actual distinct phenomenon.
- Nervous laughter - There is definately more information about this topic which seems like a good choice.
- Selective memory loss - Same problems as Mental block
- Sunday night blues - This article could almost definitely be improved with the addition of "good" sources
- Mood swing - This actually seems like an article that could be ripe for improvement. Keep in mind though that you want to use psychology and medical terms in describing mood swings.
So I'd approve Nervous laughter, sunday night blues, and maybe mood swing. If youw ant to choose one of those and add it to the list that would be great. Otherwise you could argue your case for the other articles or suggest other topics here. --MTHarden (talk) 19:40, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
Week 3 Assignments
[edit]You are now late in completing these assignents: compile a bibliography of at least 3 good sources and list them in the talk page of your article, and create a sandbox version of your article. I'll still award you some credit if you get them done this week. Be sure to post on my talk page (in the Week 3 section) after you've completed the assignments. --MTHarden (talk) 14:30, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
I think you meant to edit User:Kristinafreund/sandbox. I've tagged it for deletion. Thanks. --The Σ talkcontribs 03:24, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
