Hello. I am Robert C. Edwards, Jr. I joined the english Wikipedia in June of 2006. I enjoy it a lot, and I am the author of 15 new medical articles on Wikipedia, including the Featured Article for the East Asian lung disease Diffuse panbronchiolitis. I am also an article reviewer for the project, particularly articles concerning fungi and their taxonomy.
For doing such a brilliant job of the article Hypertryptophanemia, and making it so difficult for us to improve on your work. Richard Cavell (talk) 09:54, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

The Special Barnstar
For your highlighting of other people's work. Thank you for all of your DYK nominations. PanydThe muffin is not subtle 00:10, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
100 nominations! In my opinion this is the best type of DYK award. Lots of people write about what they think is important, but those who nominate other people's work are encouraging editors. That is what we need. And I see you are working on the medical project - well done. One day we can try and catch the great PFHLai with 1,000 nominations Victuallers (talk) 13:56, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
Wikipedia has its own search engine, with its search box on every page. The search box will go to a given page name, but there are three ways to go to the search results page instead.
If you activate the magnifying-glass icon (or the Search button) from an empty search box, you'll go to an empty search results page.
If you start any query with the tilde character, it always generates search results, ~page name.
Choose "Search for pages containing" from the page names that drop-down as you type (if you have JavaScript enabled). To access the suggestions that drop down as you type, click the mouse on them, or use ↓, or Tab ↹, to access them.
At an empty Search display, there are filtering options for:
Content pages – Search in (Article)
Multimedia – Search for files
Everything – Search of all content (including talk pages)
