Admin Coaching Re-confirmation
Hello, previously you expressed interest in participating in the Wikipedia:Admin coaching project. We are currently conducting a reconfirmation drive to give coaches the opportunity to update their information and capacity to participate in the project. Please visit Wikipedia:Admin coaching/Status to update your status. Also, please remember to update your capacity (5th table variable) in the form of a fraction (eg. 2/3 means you are currently coaching 2 students, and could accept 1 more student). Thank you. about a deleted article
Dear K.K., you wrote the conclusion of the VfD of an article - did you observe that many of the reverted opinions (from keep to delete or the < strikethrough > of the reasons for "keep") were done by the same user who initiated the VfD: http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Special:Contributions/Itointegral - and that the initial contribution of that user (his only contrib to article space), namely the phrase about "compact support" added in a math article, is simply wrong. I don't know what the article was like, but I think the person certainly meets more than one of the criteria given in Wikipedia:PROF - in particular, SCOPUS (suggested as "the best way(...)" on Wikipedia:PROF) returns over 200 hits, which is very much in the field of mathematics. — MFH:Talk 20:45, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Regarding to Opinoso
The reason why I posted User:Opinoso at WP:AIV because he provoked me to do a personal attack by calling me racist in Talk:Italian settlement in Argentina, which I remember it is a violation of WP:NPA. I get the blame, yet Opinoso does not. I feel I am being ignored. And why am I being reported again, I did nothing wrong this time. Lehoiberri (talk) 19:53, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
re: agel article
I saw that you deleted an article I posted today regarding Agel. Until today I had not heard of this company. When I attempted to find info about it on Wikipedia (always my first stop) there was nothing available, so I did some research and took the time to follow procedures for adding a new article. Your reason for deletion referenced "advertising". This is odd since I listed references for any statements I made about the company, and the list of products the company sells does not make any endorsements other than to list what the company claims each particular product does (if you made an article about Flintstones chewables, I don't think it's advertising to say it is a "multi-vitamin" or that it "proposes to improve health"). If you could please go into further detail about which statements you found to be "advertising", I will certainly do what I can to make any needed changes.
I tried to look up this subject because I was trying to help a friend who came to me for advice and I didn't know anything about this company. I was sure that it would be on the list of MLM's (which I not only read, but read the individual company reports for to see examples of objectivity on such companies). When it wasn't, I did what we are all supposed to do for Wiki and that is roll up our sleeves and try and make it comprehensive by doing our part.
I look forward to your response.

deletion of Stephania Gambaroff article
dear Katie, We would like to ask you to undelete the article about Stephania Gambaroff. Although it might seem like an insignificant bio, it carries certain importance. For one, the person described in the article is an extremely active contemporary artist that won awards and contributed to the development of contemporary art. For two, having the article about young brilliant artists in Wiki demonstrates Wiki's democratic views and support of the young independent ideas. For three, it will help this artist and many other young artists, who consciously choose the extremely difficult path of life in the arts, to simply survive. Thank you —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.249.89.138 (talk) 00:54, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
Article Deletion
Krakatoa Katie,
My name is Terry Gray and I am the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Northwest AHEC, a department of Wake Forest University School of Medicines. I was in the process of uploading/adding data about my department at the request of the Director to Wikipedia. Evidently, I did something incorrectly and the data that I entered was deleted due to a misunderstanding regarding copywriting. Please review the post to my talk where I have provided an explanation regarding where and what the information that I added to the article was pulled from.
Again, I would like to say that I do have permission to use this information and you can verfiy this by contacting my Director or inform me of what I need to do to add this information without penality.
Thank you.

Image:WalterBryanEmery.jpg
Hello, KrakatoaKatie. I see you recently closed the discussion at Wikipedia:Copyright problems/2008 February 2/Images regarding Image:WalterBryanEmery.jpg, saying, "It has a source, it has a fair use rationale, so it complies with WP:FU. Unless the copyright owner comes forward, I think we're good." I am frustrated that for a month and a half there was absolutely no attempt to address my concern that the given "source" for this image does not actually identify the copyright holder (as required by WP:FU), and then suddenly you give two sentences that bypass the issue and you close the debate. I am curious: Do you honestly believe that calgarycoin.com really holds the copyright to this image? Why calgarycoin.com and not leidenuniv.nl or egiptologia.pl? I am claiming that we have no information about the true copyright holder of this image, because we have no information about where this photograph originally came from. So far no one has been able to give any more information than "calgarycoin.com uses this image on their webpage," which doesn't clarify the copyright situation at all. —Bkell (talk) 17:32, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
- Hello – thanks for the message. According to WP:CITE#IMAGE, the uploader should give the author of the image, if known, and the URL from which it was downloaded. We don't know the original author of this image, but it's pretty evident this is a copy of the original photograph. In that case, all the uploader can do is provide the URL and a fair use rationale, which has been done. Wikipedia has thousands of images just like this one, with original author unknown and fair use claimed from the book/journal/URL in which it was found. We can't be paranoid but we should be prudent, and I believe this image has satisfied the requirements for fair use. The uploader gave _his_ source, he doesn't know the original author of the image, and there's no equivalent image I've been able to find to replace it. You can always go to WP:IFD.
- I seem to be the only one working on the six week backlog at WP:CP, and I'd certainly appreciate some help if you're available. I asked at WP:AN but nobody came, so I guess I'm going to have to work at it alone. Thanks again for the message. Oh, and Boomer Sooner!! :-D - KrakatoaKatie 22:06, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Mouqol
Hello! :) Late last year, Mouqol was proposed for deletion. Five days passed and no one contested it, so you deleted the article as expected. In retrospect, I feel someone should have merged and/or redirected the article to List of Greyhawk deities. After the fact, I decided to create a redirect anyway. I'm wondering if it's possible to restore the original article, and turn it into a redirect, thus preserving the edit history? If you agree, you can obliterate the current edit history, or just add it to the original edit history. Thanks, BOZ (talk) 02:36, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Paul Fusco Biography
hi Kate
Re :- http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Paul_Fusco
You deleted this article after someone apparently reported for copyright problems. I am Luke Robbins, the person who originally wrote this copyrighted text. I'd like to point out this article is NOT the property of TV.com, and is widespread across the net and also appears at IMDB as well. I originally wrote it on the TVTOME.com website many years ago and kept copyright myself and thats why the copyright notice appears. I have tried to add the GFDL license info to tv.com but it is no longer open to me to edit the text since my access to it was set up with tvtome.com, not tv.com. I'd like this article to appear on Paul Fuscos page here at wikipedia so if you could suggest some way for me to give you official permission other than this then i will arrange it. I had tried to notify people i was the copyright owner as soon as the original article was contested. thanks! Lukerobbins (talk) 00:58, 2 April 2008 (UTC) Lukerobbins

Why delete my Bio
I wrote an article about "Dr. Jeffrey A. Klein, MD", which you deleted. I indicated that it was a work in progress, but I also included the significance of the doctor. He was the inventor of Tumescent Anesthesia, and he is a leading figure in the world of dermatology and cosmetic surgery. I believe that the article was relevant (far more relevant than the article on Jeff Klein), unbiased, and thorough.
The information contained in the article was all properly cited as well. I'd like to know why it has been deleted, and IF its deletion is justified, what changes or additions are necessary (because i've read the standards of wikipedia biography, and I don't see where i erred).
Please advise me. Thank you.

Copyright
Good Morning Kate
Would you do me a favor, after you look at an article on the list could you use the <s></s> to strike it from the list if there are no remaining copyright problems in the article on the list? We we are both working at the same time or if I am working after you have looked at a bunch like with Wikipedia:Copyright problems/2008 April 2/Articles I spend a good chunk of my time looking at articles you have already reviewed and then striking them from the list. The <s></s> is in top line of the wiki markup: in the edit box when you are editing the page. Just use your mouse to highlight the text and click the <s></s> and it will place them at the front and back of the text automatically. Jeepday (talk) 13:16, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
Economy of Uzbekistan: Agriculture and Natural Resources
This is the first time I write to an Editor, so I apologize in advance for any breach of Wikiquette. On 15 April 2008 at 13:52 you fixed a red link to "Uzbek Ikat" on the above referenced page. It seems that the page for Uzbek Ikat has been deleted (I don't know when or by who), but there is still a Wikipedia page for "ikat". I accordingly restored the link to "ikat". Please note that the article "Ikat" now contains a red link to "Uzbek Ikat", which no longer exists. I leave to you the decision if to correct this red link or leave it as a reminder that "Uzbek Ikat" existed in the past. Zlerman (talk) 15:11, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Also, my article for the Center for Citizen Leadership was deleted. Sorry that it took so long to get back to Wikipedia with these authorizations, but I am only in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and was not focused on this.
Thanks in advance.
