A tag has been placed on Isnetworld, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. — Timneu22 · talk 16:55, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I moved the page to your userspace; it is now located here. Edit that page and before you post, get the opinion of other editors. The page, as is, is highly promotional and lacks references. — Timneu22 · talk 17:04, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

A tag has been placed on ISNetworld requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

July 2010

[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with ISNetworld. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 14:10, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as ISNetworld, to Wikipedia as doing so is not in accordance with our policies. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Wikipedia:Your first article; you might also consider using the Article Wizard. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. After Isnetworld was deleted, to re-create the same article under the title ISNetworld, without addressing the issues which led to deletion, is not constructive. JamesBWatson (talk) 14:10, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. Perhaps you should userfy the page first.Timneu22 · talk 18:34, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ISNetworld

[edit]

The latest version of ISNetworld still does not indicate notability. "References" to press releases, listings making brief mentions of the subject, publicity material from the company, etc etc do nothing to establish notability. Please do not continue to create this article. JamesBWatson (talk) 20:51, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:ISNetworld Logo.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:ISNetworld Logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 17:46, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Hours Worked.png

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Hours Worked.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 05:44, 28 July 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 05:44, 28 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Author requested deletion

[edit]

I'm not sure what you hoped to accomplish with this edit to ISNetworld, but if you had intended to mark the page for deletion as its primary author, that cannot be allowed at this point, as too many other editors have been involved in expanding the article since you originally created it. If you don't think the article should remain, you can nominate it for deletion (see WP:AFD). WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 18:00, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your suggestion. I put in a request to have it deleted.

I have nominated ISNetworld, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/ISNetworld. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many ottersOne batOne hammer) 18:42, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently another editor has helped you out by properly nominating ISNetworld for deletion. However, his rationale is a bit thin, and I don't think it will hold up. Perhaps if you can tell me why you think the article should be deleted, that would make a better rationale at the deletion discussion. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 18:47, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am new at this, participating in Editing and the Forum, but I must contest the assertions for deletion. This Company is private, and Wikipedia is a valuable source for information on private companies for investors, customers, students, etc. that want to find out about fast growing companies and their history. There is no doubt that this edit will grow, as ISN grows, and my sense is that there is more out there than we know - and the info will grow as well. Isn't that what we are trying to do? This company invented on-line compliance, and is expanding rapidly around the globe - people need a source from whence they came. Seems to me to be a story that meets all of Wikipedia's guidelines - it is indeed notable and most importantly verifiable. Even though this article was presumably for a school project, the author has stumbled on something that will indeed provide value to Wikipedia's user base. Please withdraw your call for deletion. Content dispute

[edit]

There appears to be a content dispute at ISNetworld. Please do not change the information about the company founding (i.e. Ad-Venture funding) without first discussing it on the talk page. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 19:43, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Funnel Slide.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 15:16, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
