Gonna Fly Now - multiple song samples
I have reverted your addition of multiple song samples to Gonna Fly Now. There is no sourced commentary to support these nonfree song samples so they do not meet WP:NFCC#8. And multiple versions of them collectively fail to adhere to WP:NFCC#3a. Please familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's non-free content criteria. If you have questions, Media Copyright Questions is a good place to get help. -- Whpq (talk) 15:38, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
Body count
I have to come here because I can't believe how astonishingly childish it is for you to restore the wording saying "The modern slang usage originated in 2020 on TikTok" or "This particular usage largely originated from...TikTok" telling me to cite the source as if I'm the newbie, when none of the sources already there verify these blatantly false claims. My wording that it "gained further popularity" is fairly generic and could be derived from the existing HITC link. Sure, Urban Dictionary isn't accepted on Wikipedia, but the numerous definitions there that predate 2020 should give the common sense that your version is dead wrong. Then there's being added to Wiktionary in 2019 and this from 2016 from a 42-year-old saying she heard it when she was younger. Come on. Reywas92Talk 01:45, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
- My brother in Christ, that was literally what I was asking you to do, cite your sources. You could have just cited the Jezebel article to showcase it predating 2020s-era TikTok culture and have this all be done with it. What was the point of the edit warring and going on some weird cheugy millennial "silly cringey Gen Z" tangent? Crusader1096 (message) 03:43, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
- I didn't need to add the Jezebel article because my statement was already backed by the links in the article, while you were the one originally writing and then restoring false content not backed by any sources. What was the point of that? Grow up. Reywas92Talk 04:41, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
- I dunno, that HITC source seemed to insinuate that it was of TikTok origin. Crusader1096 (message) 01:32, 15 March 2023 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
You have recently been editing articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, which has been designated a contentious topic. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially-designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
