Unspecified source for Image:Beijing_2008.svg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Beijing_2008.svg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 16:26, 5 February 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. OsamaK 16:26, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Template:Lht
[edit]A tag has been placed on Template:Lht requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{tranclusionless}}</noinclude>
).

[edit]Hello, King of Hearts! You recently closed Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2008 February 20#Wikipedia:Wikiquette alerts .28closed.29 and re-listed it. I was disappointed I was not given a chance to comment on, nor even notified of, the DRV since I closed the MfD. I also left a note on Will's talk page (since he brought it to DRV without notifying me) expressing my disappointment in this oversight. I am leaving a note for you since I would have expected somebody to tap me on the shoulder before they closed the DRV. Forgive me if I am out of line. Regards. --12 Noon 2¢ 01:13, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry about that. But since I've already started an MfD discussion that has grown pretty long, it's perhaps too late to halt it now. You could present your point with a strong argument on that. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 06:44, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
Non-free use disputed for Image:Epson_logo.svg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Epson_logo.svg. Unfortunately, I think that you have not provided a proper rationale for using this image under "fair use". Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. Note that the image description page must include the exact name or a link to each article the image is used in and a separate rationale for each one. (If a link is used, automated processes may improperly add the related tag to the image. Please change the fair use template to refer to the exact name, if you see this warning.)
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted after seven days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rockfang (talk) 11:22, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
