Hello, I'm Hounder4. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Virtual Boy, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. – Hounder4 17:02, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at United Kingdom, without citing a reliable source using an inline citation that clearly supports the material. The burden is on the person wishing to keep in the material to meet these requirements, as a necessary (but not always sufficient) condition. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Mutt Lunker (talk) 12:42, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in National Basketball Association, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Specifically, major countries are not generally linked per MOS:OVERLINK. —Bagumba (talk) 13:52, 12 March 2017 (UTC)
Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Per MOS:OVERLINK, major countries are not usually linked, and it is not necessary for you to link them. – Hounder4 20:56, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Excirial. I noticed that in this edit to Dan Middleton, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 21:23, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in YouTube Rewind. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Please read WP:OVERLINK. There is no need to link major countries and languages. Julietdeltalima (talk) 21:25, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make disruptive edits to Wikipedia contrary to the Manual of Style, as you did at Naruto. Even though you were not given a lvl 3 warning, you were given plenty of other warnings to warrant a lvl 4 warning. As Hounder4 stated above, do not link major countries or even terms that are already commonly understood by an English reader. —Farix (t | c) 20:56, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
Stop linking common terms
It's not an error that things like English language, United States and Canada are not linked, they're common terms or large geographic locations that are well known and not key to understanding the articles they're in. See WP:OVERLINK for a further explanation. Walter Görlitz (talk) 05:46, 24 March 2017 (UTC)

2012 KNVB Cup Final moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, 2012 KNVB Cup Final, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Infobox timestamps
Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. Welcome to Wikipedia! I just wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions were not quite right. When updating statistics within the infobox of a footballer, please make sure you update the timestamp at the same time, so that both readers and fellow editors know when the information was last updated.
You can do this by replacing the existing timestamp within the |club-update=
or |pcupdate=
parameter for club stats, or the |nationalteam-update=
or |ntupdate=
parameter for international stats. For articles that use a DMY date format, use five tildes (~~~~~), or for MDY dates, use {{subst:mdytime}}. This will generate the specific time the update was made.
If you have any questions about this, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you, Mattythewhite (talk) 21:29, 12 March 2019 (UTC)
Hi, you updated Dušan Tadić in the top scorer list. Some small things you have to pay attention to. You correctly increased the number of matches from 24 to 25 and the number of goals from 18 to 19. What you forgot is to change the average goals per game from {{#expr: 18/24 round 2}} to {{expr: 17/25 round 2}}. In general it's: {{#expr: <number_of_goals>/<number_of_matches> round 2}}. --Sb008 (talk) 23:24, 13 March 2019 (UTC)

Bkissin (talk) 19:20, 11 July 2019 (UTC)Hello KingSkyLord. The title of this article was the result of a move request (albeit some time ago). I would suggest starting a discussion at WT:FOOTBALL on whether v or vs is the most appropriate term to use. In the meantime I have returned the article to its stable location and will be undoing some of your link changes on templates.
Also, when an article like this is moved, you should not make edits to articles that are solely to fix the link unless it is to correct the way the term is displayed on an article (so edits like this are not appropriate) – see WP:DONOTFIXIT. Cheers, Number 57 19:50, 30 July 2019 (UTC)

If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of the article. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Kosack -- Kosack (talk) 09:01, 11 September 2019 (UTC)
De-PROD notice: Manchester City F.C. 8–0 Watford F.C.
Hi, I would like to let you know that I have removed the PROD tag you applied (a second time) to the article Manchester City F.C. 8–0 Watford F.C.. Once a PROD tag is removed from an article, the article cannot be PRODed again. In this case, the alternative approach is to nominate the article for deletion instead using the process at WP:AFD. Twinkle makes this process easier by letting you nominate directly from the article itself. Jalen D. Folf (talk) 00:27, 22 September 2019 (UTC)

Can you explain this edit? SLBedit (talk) 19:47, 11 November 2019 (UTC)
- @SLBedit:, actually I can. I removed the “DEFAULTSORT” so that all the articles about articles named Ederson would be sorted by chronological birth order. See this link for what I was trying to do. KingSkyLord (talk | contribs) 13:35, 13 November 2019 (UTC)

Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!
Hello,
Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.
I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!
From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.
If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.
Thank you!

Page moves and default sorting
I have concerns about some of your recent page moves and changes to category sorting. Please use WP:RM rather than making moves yourself. GiantSnowman 14:48, 25 November 2019 (UTC)
Thanks
Hi there, thanks for this edit. They've been sitting there for some time because I couldn't muster the energy to sort those links out. Kosack (talk) 07:05, 27 November 2019 (UTC)
You marked the article Federico Malo Andrade for cleanup with the reason "Numerous glaring issues!". Could you leave a message on the talk page being a little more specific? Thank you. RJFJR (talk) 20:38, 28 November 2019 (UTC)
Hi there, it would be appreciated if you'd please not mark all your edits as minor by default. A minor edit is an edit that could not possibly be the subject of a dispute. That typically means cosmetic changes like typo/grammar/spelling/punctuation fixes, reversion of obvious vandalism and things like that. These edits,[6][7] for instance, are not minor because you have introduced new, unsourced content into the articles. Here you've changed content and removed a reference, which is not a minor edit, etc.
Additionally, it would be appreciated if you would use edit summaries so that other editors understand the rationale for the changes you are making. Please see WP:EDITSUMMARY. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:33, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Category:German expatriate sportspeople in Cyprus requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Why have you removed a valid number of categories from this article? GiantSnowman 08:46, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
@GiantSnowman: I simply updated the categories to be more specific. KingSkyLord (talk | contribs) 17:29, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
- No, you removed valid club categories. Why? GiantSnowman 19:55, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
- @GiantSnowman: Because they weren't in his senior career. You wouldn't put say Harry Kane in Category:Arsenal F.C. players or Raúl in Category:Atlético Madrid footballers. I thought that the categories weren't supposed to include what clubs a player was contracted to in his youth career. KingSkyLord (talk | contribs) 23:59, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
- No, you are absolutely incorrect - we do include players in youth club categories. GiantSnowman 08:37, 20 December 2019 (UTC)
