Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Kipsengeret Koros has been reverted.
Your edit here to Kipsengeret Koros was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline. The reference(s) you added or changed (https://kericho-county-news.blogspot.co.ke/2016/08/sigowet-soin-constituency-2017.html, https://kericho-county-news.blogspot.co.ke/2016/08/sigowet-soin-constituency-2017.html) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Prof. Davy Kiprotich Koech, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. • Advice: perhaps you were not aware that almost all the various biographical directories in which he is listed are essentially vanity publications, whose business model is to sell copies to those included, and do not indicate notability -- if anything, they tend to show the opposite.

Nor does he fit into any of the categories you placed him in : (±)American immunologists (−) (±)Scripps Research Institute faculty (−) (±)University of California, San Diego alumni (−) (±)Pritzker School of Medicine alumni (−) (±)University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center alumni (−) (±)Rockefeller University (−) (±)Nobel laureates in Physiology or Medicine (−) (±)American Nobel laureates (−) (±)Jewish American scientists (−) (±)Members of the United States National Academy of Sciences (−) (±)Howard Hughes Medical Investigators (−) (±)Members of the German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina (−) (±)(+). He is not an American, but a Kenyan; there is no indication he is Jewish, let alone an American Jew, he is not an alumni of any the the institutions mentionedhe is not a member of any of the notable societies listed,

Taking a quick look, as an editor here who specializes in articles about scientists, some of the material in the article can be verified, enough that he is probably notable. But there are no references, and, given the absurd claims in the categories, without them there is no reason why a reader would think any of the material in the article is accurate.

Please write more carefully. DGG ( talk ) 03:42, 27 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Prof. Davy Kiprotich Koech. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Davy Kiprotich Koech. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Davy Kiprotich Koech. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Lopifalko (talk) 14:37, 15 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The page Prof. Davy Kiprotich Koech has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done for the following reason:

A10 variant - article was slightly created first, and then duplicated elsewhere by a new user instead of moving to get the desired page name.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. A tag has been placed on File:Davyk.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Speedy deletion nomination of National Commission for Science, Technology and Innovation

[edit]

Hello Ketervinnie,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged National Commission for Science, Technology and Innovation for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

A tag has been placed on Dr. James Murgor requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Elijah K. Sumbeiywo moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Elijah K. Sumbeiywo, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Speedy deletion nomination of Alfred Kiprato Kerich

Hello Ketervinnie,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Alfred Kiprato Kerich for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Deletion discussion about Alfred Kiprato Kerich

[edit]

Hello, Ketervinnie, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Andrew nyr, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Alfred Kiprato Kerich, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Alfred Kiprato Kerich.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Andrew nyr}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
