2018-19 FA Challenge Cup moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, 2018-19 FA Challenge Cup, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Eleven Angels FC requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, society, or group that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. [edit]

Hello, Keabetswe1234

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Sulfurboy and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Morwalela Seema, should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Morwalela Seema.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Sulfurboy}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on 2013–14 Township Rollers FC season requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/2013–14_Township_Rollers_FC_season. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Please take care not to link to disambiguation pages as you did in this edit pointing to TASC: check that all your links go to the page you intended. I've unlinked the page, because there is nothing in Wikipedia about the club: there was an article TASC FC but it was deleted in 2022.

There is an easy way to avoid linking to disambiguation pages: if you go to "Preferences", "Gadgets", and look under "Appearance" you'll see "Display links to disambiguation pages in orange" towards the bottom of the section. Select that tickbox, and whenever you Preview a page you'll be able to see whether you've accidentally linked to a disambiguation page. Thanks, and Happy Editing. You have done it again at 1998 Botswana Premier League. Please stop linking to disambiguation pages. PamD 00:23, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to 2000-2001 Botswana Premier League, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Continuing to add links to the disambiguation page TASC is disruptive. Please stop doing so. PamD 08:10, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I've now found out what happened. There was an article about TASC FC but it was deleted because it had been there for 15 years and no-one had ever bothered to add any sources for it.

I've now added a couple of sources to the mention of the club at Francistown#Sports, and made a redirect to point there. I've replaced the entry in the disambiguation page TASC.

So from now on, if you need to make a link to the club, please link it as TASC FC. If you want it to appear only as "TASC", then pipe it as [[TASC FC|TASC]]. But stop making links to TASC, the disambiguation page. Thanks. PamD 08:31, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your contributions to 2000–2001 Botswana Premier League. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. JTtheOG (talk) 23:31, 5 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
