Speedy deletion nomination of Cronin Economics

[edit]

Hello Kcron24,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Cronin Economics for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Rushbugled13 (talk) 03:35, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Cronin Economics has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:OR

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ⁓ Hello71 03:47, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not create pages that attack, threaten, or disparage their subject. Attack pages and files are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who create or add such material may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you. Rushbugled13 (talk) 03:50, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm confused where did I attack, threaten, or disparage? Can you please highlight so I can delete if I did.

Kevin

While your article does violate other policies, WP:NOTESSAY and WP:NOTOPINION, I can't figure out what he is talking about with that notice either. I have already declined one of his CSD taggings, so I will leave it to another set of eyes to handle this one, but I think it is unfounded. Monty845 04:00, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The subject of this article mainly deals with disparaging the Federal Reserve, based upon personal opinion, and not any sources. Even if this article had reliable sources to back up the negative claims about the Federal Reserve, Wikipedia articles must be neutral and must not attack subjects. Rushbugled13 (talk) 04:04, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'm pretty sure generalized criticisms of government entities are beyond the scope of G10, which is primarily used to deal with attacks against individuals. Monty845 04:07, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It's an alternative to the Federal Reserve. Instead of a central private bank, I'm dissolving it into government district banks. I guess in a sense it's shows the Federal Reserve in a negative light but I use figures and mathematical equations to back up my claims. I understand that I may need to add more references but as I stated before it's still a work in progress. I appreciate your comments and I will take them into consideration. It's kind of funny that you think I'm attacking, threatening, or disparaging the Federal Reserve in anyway. If you read the whole essay it's extremely peaceful. I even mention that the Federal Reserve should be dissolved through a peaceful diplomatic process. The Federal Reserve was a great way to handle our economic system in the past but it now only makes the economy unstable. I show this in my paper if you read it. It would be nice if I could upload pictures so I could show you my math. Thanks again, Kevin

Status and Advice

[edit]

It's not a speedy deletion under any of the criteria, so I and another admin agree it cannot be so deleted. However, it is absolutely not a possible Wikipedia article. WP is not a place to publish your original theories, no matter how good they are. There's no point adding references that support your original ideas--original ideas still don't belong here. Rather, you should publish them in some reliable standard way, and if the public takes note of them, others will write about them, and someone else will make an article here, using those articles about your theory as the third party sources. Even after you publish them elsewhere, you yourself should not make an article about your work -- see WP:COI.

Really, this is just plain not the place--it will inevitably be deleted within a week, and if you understand you really should facilitate matters by placing at the top a line reading : {{db-author}}, and it will be quickly deleted. & you can avoid any further negative comment.

I did however delete the AfC page--once you put the article in mainspace it's entirely redundant.

If I can help you further, let me know on my user talk page. DGG ( talk ) 06:08, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Cronin Economics, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

That you are risking a block for disruption if you keep this up. Your recreation of Cronin Economics is really pushing the limits. If you want to have an impact on Wikipedia, you will need to persuade others to support your contributions, so they are not deleted. Consider asking for advice. "Delete—terrible article, but it doesn't merit a speedy delete. An article that "serves no purpose other than to promote its creator's POV" has another name on Wikipedia: WP:NPOV. הסרפד (Hasirpad) [formerly Ratz...bo] 00:58, 29 November 2012 (UTC)"

A tag has been placed on Wikipedia coverage of Cronin Economics Timeline, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. This is simply a timeline or history of another wikipedia page that is being published. How is this against any of the wikipedia terms or policies?

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for persistent disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. - The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 18:06, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Why was I blocked?

Must be a a good reason if you can't answer. I guess your argument is too good to even say.

I always thought Wikipedia was an open source. I guess I was wrong it has just as much censorship as anywhere else :( .

From the number of warnings you were given above, the reason you were blocked should be pretty self-evident. It has nothing to do with censorship; reread everything if you don't get it. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 18:28, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Let me get this straight, your response is 'it's way too easy to explain so I'm not even going to mention it'. Thanks for being so helpful!

I'll try and explain this to be completely clear; be advised that if you continue to refuse to get the message that will be seen as further justification for your block. You repeatedly recreated an article about a non-notable company, and refused to heed anyone's warning. When you finally responded, it was in an obviously unhelpful way, and combined with the previous warnings it was very obvious that you had no intention of stopping. To be unblocked, you will need to agree not to recreate the article again. Do you understand? The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 19:01, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) From the above post, Kcron, I'm assuming that The Blade of the Northern Lights hasn't read the original article, though that doesn't mean he was at all in the wrong to block you. More precisely, you repeatedly created an article about your personal economic theory, despite having been made aware of our policies against this, and signaling that you understood said policies. Furthermore, you used two sockpuppets to blank the already-finished Articles for Deletion entry on your article [1] [2]. If you actually want to be unblocked, in my estimation you'd have to read the following policies - WP:OR, WP:N, WP:V, WP:SOCK, WP:CSD#G4, WP:BLANK, and probably WP:CIV for good measure - and demonstrate to an administrator that you fully understand them, and will not violate them again. You might also want to read the essays WP:RECREATE and WP:OUTLET. Yes, that's a lot of reading material, but, frankly, you've broken a lot of rules. — Francophonie&Androphilie (Je vous invite à me parler) 19:35, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Blade: Or am I mistaken, and was there something promotional in there? I just realized that I don't have a clear enough recollection of the article to assert so definitively that you haven't read it. — Francophonie&Androphilie (Je vous invite à me parler) 19:46, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. Thank you.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Kcron24 (talkcontribs) 19:22, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please take down Hasirpad's comment about my article. He is disparaging my article without providing any evidence or facts to support his claims.
