Articles to be translated to Turkish
Hi Kaaveh, so you'd like me to translate some articles into Turkish that you believe Turkish Wikipedia should have? Then, it's no problem for me. I'm not active here, I've usually started biografies at Turkish Wikipedia. You can see the list of people and other stuff I've started on my Turkish page. Happy editing, --Bahar (Spring in Turkish) ✍ 09:52, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

Fair use disputed for Image:Seddigh.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Seddigh.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:58, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Please stop edit warring on this article. Your edits are changing away from the current talk page consensus which has been agreed upon after much dispute and much argument.⇒ SWATJester Denny Crane. 04:38, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
On that same note, if you disagree with my edits please discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Discussing there we can reach a consensus on a better way to reflect what our sources state. - Best regards, Ev 13:15, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
If edit warring resumes, I will either protect the page or block the editors. User:Ev can show you where this issue has been discussed before. There's a longstanding consensus about the issue. Of course, if you disagree with that consensus, you can challenge it, not by edit warring, but by following our dispute resolution process. Thank you for your kind understanding. - Jehochman Talk 14:41, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

Renaming of pages related to several Ayatollahs
Dear brother, you have renamed a number of pages related to Ayatollahs from "Grand Ayatollah XYZ" to "XYZ (Ayatollah)" OR "XYZ (Ayatullah)" OR "XYZ" (with obvious non-uniformity). Can you provide some plausible reasons for doing so, please? So that all such pages be renamed uniformly according to an agreed set of guidelines. Syed Fayyaz Abbas 21:56, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
- First of all I am not your "brother". Second you should read WP:NPOV to see why you can't change the name of the X Ayatollah to a title that Shia's call him out of respect! --Kaaveh 02:48, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
RE: Wide Scale Vandalism
Hello again, I finally got the chance to take a look through his contributions during the past three months and the only alarming thing I found were NPOV violations. This is not technically considered vandalism and the user has not made any drastically serious errors. I did however have to make several corrections to the articles that the user edited inappropriately. I believe the comment you left on the user's talk page was sufficient enough to identify the policy the user was not adhering by. You can also refer to WP:NAME (article naming conventions) as another relevant policy that applies to this situation. If any other problems pop up and you require my assistance, feel free to leave another comment on my talk page.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 19:13, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- Thanky you persian poet gal. I've been concerned on this issue, because some people who follow the same ideology in Persian wikipedia, start making changes to the names of those Ayatollah's with reffer to changes that this guy made in English wikipedia. I hope this won't happen again, and I really appreciate that you followed up on this.
Many thanks --Kaaveh 21:40, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

Great success!
Dear Kaaveh,
Thank you for your participation in my request for adminship, which ended successfully with a final tally of (52/10/1). I was impressed by the thoughtful comments on both sides, and the RFA process in general. The extra buttons do look pretty snazzy, but I'll be careful not to overuse them. If you have advice to share or need assistance with anything, feel free to drop me a message or email. Thank you and good day!
Cordially,

But still not fully FP quality - too noisy for my liking, and the focus is soft. Those problems are mostly due to the camera - a point-and-shoot is really not up to the task. —Vanderdecken∴ ∫ξφ 10:55, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
Antisemetic links on Farsi wikipedia page on Israel
Dear Sandbad, I just visited the Farsi wikipedia page on Israel. There are two website links at the bottom of the page that redirect to two unacademic, racist propaganda webpages. These web-pages contain outrages anti-semetic cotent. For instance سایت پژوهشی یهود propagtes blood-libel stories. Since you are an active wikipedia editor and skilled in Farsi I thought you could help to remobve these links from Wikipedia. Thanks (Ben (talk) 08:01, 29 April 2008 (UTC))
- Many thanks Ben for the heads up. I will definitely follow-up on that. --Kaaveh (talk) 18:51, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi, Can you help me to translate this article into Persian and Hebrew? I can help you to translate articles from English to Urdu. But first you have to help me out. Thanks & regards,--Asikhi (talk) 11:03, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
- Sure, to start off can you write couple lines on Prince Reza Pahlavi's page on Urdu wikipedia, so we make sure that, that guy won't try to delete the article. I will also start working on the translations from today.
Best Regards --Kaaveh (talk) 11:38, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

RfA thanks
Thank you for your participation in my recent RfA, which closed successfully. I felt the process was a thorough review of my contributions and my demeanor, and I was very gratified to see how many editors took the time to really see what I'm about and how I can be of help to the project. As a result, some editors changed their views during the discussion, and most expressed specific, detailed points to indicate their opinion (whether it was , , or ).
A number of editors were concerned about my level of experience. I was purposeful in not waiting until a particular benchmark occurred before requesting adminship, because I feel - as many do - that adminship is not a reward and that each case is individual. It is true that I am not the most experienced editor around here, but I appreciate that people dug into my contributions enough to reach the conclusion that I seem to have a clue. Also, the best thing about this particular concern is that experience is something an editor - or administrator - can always get more of, and I'll continue doing that, just as I've been doing. (If I seem a little slow at it, feel free to slap me.)
I am a strong believer in the concept that this project is all about the content, and I'm looking forward to contributing wherever I can. Please let me know if I can be of any help. In the meantime, I'm off to school...
Thanks again!

Dizin Picture
The picture you've uploaded as Dizin05 [[1]] is not Dizin. It's Tochal Ski resort.
I'm not also sure whether it's the "International Snowboard Championship", but I'm sure it's Tochal.
See, Dizin has 3 telecabin lines. Two lower ones are mounted sideways, and there's one upper one, and there's a 2-seater gondola lift mounted sideways with upper telecabin. But the picture shows 2 transversly-mounted 4-seater gondolas.
It's Tochal which has two big gondola lifts mounted transversely, crossing each other and you can see that clearly in the picture.
Check it out in Google Maps, in satellite view, full zoom.
Tochal Ski Resort's EXACT coordinates:
35.886834, 51.402299 : It's the exact coordinates to the place where the two gondola lifts cross each other. Persian snowboarders call that "تقاطع".
35.881940, 51.408076 : Tochal Telecabin's 7th station, or "ایستگاه ۷" in Persian.
35.887711, 51.401317 : Tochal Hotel Restaurant
35.883435, 51.414042 : Tochal ski slope's upper hill: Persian snowboarders call that "قله".
Dizin Ski Resort's EXACT coordinates:
36.048843, 51.417003 : It's the exact coordinate to the place where Dizin's two lower telecabins start. The one on the East heads towards upper parking lot, and the one on the West heads toward the middle restaurant.
36.033557, 51.423891 : Dizin middle restaurant (رستوران وسط as said by Persian snowboarders) where the upper (hill) telecabin, the hill gondola lift, and the 2 tele ski to the South East begin.
36.016763, 51.421621 : Dizin highest place, where both the gondola and the upper telecabin finishes.
36.033280, 51.432747 : Dizin upper parking lot, where Dizin road's from Shemshak ends.
