A belated welcome!

Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, K6ka. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! Graham87 09:55, 30 October 2013 (UTC) Graham87 09:54, 30 October 2013 (UTC)

Dealing with vandalism

Hello, thanks for trying to deal with vandalism on Wikipedia. I noticed your work when you had reverted one edit by an IP user to Gravitron, but you had missed the other one. While looking through your contributions, I noticed that you sometimes completely reverted consecutive vandalism edits, like at Simon Newcomb, so I imagine the "Gravitron" problem was an oversight. However, it's more useful to note the user who made the edit you reverted to rather than its revision ID – in the Simon Newcomb example, it would've been better to write "rv to last version by Chris55" in the edit summary.

It's also very useful if you can warn vandals – especially if their edits are recent – and check their contributions. Tools like Twinkle can make it easier to deal with vandalism. Graham87 09:54, 30 October 2013 (UTC)

Ah, mighty thanks for the suggestion! I remember hearing about Twinkle a while ago but forgot the name.

Anyways, my apologies for missing those edits. It's just that I'm not new to wiki-editing tools in general (I edit a lot on Wikia), but I'm not used to how fast-paced Wikipedia is. I'll look into Twinkle, and thanks for your suggestions.

Category:Privately held companies of Wales

Thought about a vandal tag, decided that you had been too hasty by far Category:Privately held companies of Wales. Rgds, --2.101.131.89 (talk) 18:04, 6 November 2013 (UTC)

Yes, that was an error on my end. I just got confused since the category showed up as a redlink for me, so I thought it didn't exist. Me apologies. K6ka (talk) 18:05, 6 November 2013 (UTC)

Er. I think you're getting the wrong person - a lot. Er. 88.104.29.216 (talk) 18:08, 7 November 2013 (UTC)

How? I use Twinkle to revert vandalism, and it automatically directs me to the author of the vandalized edit. If you're getting messages from someone else, then that's a bug in the software. Nothing I can do about that, sadly. K6ka (talk) 18:11, 7 November 2013 (UTC)

What the hell...

I never edited Honoré Daumier's site. Why so I keep getting weird messages like that lately? --77.184.234.181 (talk) 18:08, 7 November 2013 (UTC)

You're having the same problem as the person above this message. If you didn't do it, just ignore it. K6ka (talk) 18:12, 7 November 2013 (UTC)

Tag happy

FYI: [1]

It's always better to spend 5 seconds looking for a reliable source than to spend the same amount of time tagging an article. 70.235.87.52 (talk) 19:19, 25 November 2013 (UTC)

Sorry 'bout that; I mainly revert vandalism on Wikipedia, and I don't usually tag unsourced stuff on articles (I Google stuff but I only come for the info, not the source, so I often have to go digging in my page history to find it). Maybe I should just stick to reverting. K6ka (talk) 21:11, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
Reverting vandalism is fine, and is to be commended. But reverting unsourced info can be problematic because it could erase potentially valuable information for which a reliable source is easy to find. 70.235.87.52 (talk) 21:59, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
Yep, thanks for the advice! K6ka (talk) 23:36, 25 November 2013 (UTC)

Sir Richard Strachan page

Sir Richard Strachan, 6th Baronet

Sir Richard never filed for a new grant or matriculation of Arms anywhere in the UK. The Arms shown on your webpage were erroneously provided in book published in 1873. This book has a notorious reputation for being inaccurate, and a second edition was published in 1877 attempting to rectify some of these errors. The artwork shown on the page was omitted from this second edition. There is absolutely no historical record that Sir Dicky EVER used Arms. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Acejim (talkcontribs) 00:11, 28 November 2013 (UTC)

Users blanking their own talk page

Hi there, I noticed you reverted someone who removed warnings from their own talk page. That's actually allowed - blanking it is taken as a sign that the warning has been read and understood. See WP:OWNTALK. I advise against reverting users who choose to do this, because it usually just ends up being a waste of your time. —Darkwind (talk) 21:39, 1 December 2013 (UTC)

Understood, though that user clearly didn't care about the warning, with "&^%$ off bot and admin" as an edit summary. K6ka (talk) 21:41, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
Oh, I agree - which is why I said it's probably a waste of your time to keep going back and forth with them. They've already been blocked anyway. —Darkwind (talk) 21:44, 1 December 2013 (UTC)

RE: Wattu

The Article: http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wattu highly doubtful due to the lack of trustworthy sources and transparency. Even though there are sources, there is absolutely no reason to recognize these. Anyway the article is rather misleading and confusing than useful. I happen to be aware of the fact that it even is meant to be an attempt to defame a family clan that is involved in political controversies in Pakistan. I therefore request to review and delete this article. Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.47.170.141 (talk) 00:04, 3 December 2013 (UTC)

I'm afraid you're barking up the wrong tree. I'm not an admin, nor am I an important Wikipedian. I'm simply a teenaged guy who primarily focuses on reverting vandalism. If you would like to propose an article for deletion, consult these templates instead. You should also ask an admin that can help you, as I have no experience with this. Thanks! RE: Twiglets

Why did you consider my edit unconstructive when it was a perfectly valid quote from the recent media. If you had ever actually tasted a twiglet then you would know that this is the most adequate description of the item ever voiced. This is not vandalism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.255.73.187 (talk) 18:09, 6 December 2013 (UTC)

Where's your citations? If you don't cite your sources for something controversial, we revert. K6ka (talk) 18:12, 6 December 2013 (UTC)

One more thing - that didn't seem like it belongs to the article. There's a reason why Wikipelli reverted your edit as well. If you want to add it, please discuss it on the article talk page first - link. That's all I have to offer. K6ka (talk) 18:22, 6 December 2013 (UTC)

How does it not belong in the article under recent media coverage? This is the first and last time I will bother to edit in Wikipedia if this is how Draconian and ungracious your edits are. Have a good day — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.255.73.187 (talk) 18:30, 6 December 2013 (UTC)

I absolutely agree that it shouldn't be in the article. What you're including is not what I would consider "media coverage". In the course of an interview, one person made a comment about the taste of the product. The 'coverage' was not on the product itself. My concern was that it was not cited. Now it is and I'll leave it to others to reach consensus on whether it should be included or not. I suggest you heed K6ka's advice and discuss it on the article's talk page. Wikipelli Talk 19:13, 6 December 2013 (UTC)

With respect your 'opinion' is not important here (as you have stated numerous times to others that you edit) and quite frankly you are wrong, which is precisely why you should not edit something on which you are uninformed and haven't researched. I'm guessing that you are in the USA and not familiar with British television or products? It was not just one persons opinion and the whole scene, on the reality show, was based around the product and the reactions of the group. Since when is a worldwide television broadcast not media coverage? As a result the item has trended on Twitter and numerous other social media sites together with national newspaper & radio coverage, if this does not cover the whole gamut of what we, in the modern world, know as 'media' then perhaps it's time for someone to retire from pedagogy. [1] [2]

Please remove the unnecessary warnings from my user talk page, thank you. 62.255.73.187 (talk) 09:11, 7 December 2013 (UTC)

See WP:OWNTALK if you want to remove the warnings. Removing them is a sign that you understand and accept the warnings. Also, I can't stress this enough, especially on my userpage, but I am Canadian. Also, may I suggest that you peruse WP:CONPOL, and as I've already suggested, discuss it on the article talk page. Thank you. K6ka (talk) 14:31, 7 December 2013 (UTC)

Your rollback request

Hi K6ka, I have granted rollback rights to your account in accordance with your request. Please be aware that rollback should be used to revert vandalism/spam/blatantly unconstructive edits, and that using it to revert any other type of edit - such as by revert-warring or reverting edits you disagree with - can lead to it being removed from your account...sometimes without any warning depending on the admin who becomes aware of any misuse. If you think an edit should require a reason for reverting, use a manual edit summary instead of using the rollback tool. For practice, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 19:30, 7 December 2013 (UTC)

The information is true, however it's not appropriate to put that on the article. We're talking about the funeral of Nelson Mandela, so we respect everyone named in the article. K6ka (talk) 17:00, 14 December 2013 (UTC)
@Tochnaquart Those labels also grossly over-simplify the situation. No respectable source would use them without providing context. That context does not belong in the funeral article. --NeilN talk to me 17:16, 14 December 2013 (UTC)

Sorry.  Liam987(talk) 23:14, 14 December 2013 (UTC)

That's alright. I use Twinkle to revert to an earlier revision, since it won't automatically add a warning to a user's talk page, which is useful in cases like this. Pretty much all vandal fighters have Twinkle in case this happens. K6ka (talk) 23:16, 14 December 2013 (UTC)
I use Twinkle as well as Igloo. Igloo is more automated, and allows you to review recent edits. You then have the option to revert the edit if it is vandalism, and this includes automatically adding a warning to the user's talk page. Normally I only revert edits using Igloo if the vandalism is very obvious; otherwise I go to the article itself and use Twinkle. In this case, the vandalism you reverted was very obvious vandalism, so I naturally clicked revert. I'm not sure exactly why it didn't warn me that the vandalism had already been reverted, as it usually does, I'm not sure. Anyway, sorry, and I'll try to be more careful.  Liam987(talk) 23:25, 14 December 2013 (UTC)
So it didn't warn you that the edit was already reverted "as it usually does"? Well, that's not your fault then. Good thing you let me know about it, though. K6ka (talk) 23:29, 14 December 2013 (UTC)

history of the Green Party of Canada

hi - You asked me to leave a message for you on this page. Your message to me was about the edits I made to the article on the History of the Green Party of Canada. The first part of this article is 100% false - the GPC was not founded in 1981 and it was not founded by Steven Kaasgaard. I helped to organize the founding conference of the GPC at Carleton University in Ottawa in 1983 (with a handful of other activists) and I don't remember Steven Kaasgaard being involved at all in the early days of the party. I checked this with another founder of the party Stephen Burtch, and he agreed that Steven Kaasgaard was not involved in the early days of the GPC. So there is no reason to mention his name in the early history of the party and it is certainly unjustified to give him the prominent role this article does. The second paragraph of the current article is very personal to Mr. Kaasgaard and suggests that it was written by him or a personal friend. The article is fine if the first two paragraphs are removed and the mention of Steven Kaasgaard in the third paragraph is removed.

Please let me know if you need any further information on this topic.

Thanks, Ray Tomalty — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.48.192.100 (talk) 01:58, 15 December 2013 (UTC)

Hi - please remember to sign your posts using ~~~~. That revert was a month ago, so I'm surprised you haven't spoken up until now. I reverted your edit to the page because you didn't provide an edit summary explaining why you removed the content. If you do not explain, we assume vandalism and revert. If the information on the article is incorrect, please do some research, change the information to the article, and remember to cite your sources. The article already has a "Multiple issues" tag, and one of them is that "The article needs additional citations to verify its verifiability." Do not simply remove the information; your edit made the article awkward and incomplete, as it lacked an intro. K6ka (talk) 02:02, 15 December 2013 (UTC)

I'm sorry - I'm afraid I didn't notice the banner saying I had a message from you - which explains why you didn't hear from me for a month. This article on the History of the Green Party of Canada was fine up until the June 2, 2013 post which added the erroneous material. So I suggest you revert to the March 6, 2013 version. The erroneous material was added by someone at WildGreens, which is Mr. Kaasgaard's group. If you look at the Green Party of Canada's website <<http://www.greenparty.ca/about-us/our-history>>you will see that it starts with the Ottawa conference in 1983 and the only person it mentions in that connection is the first leader, Trevor Hancock. There is no mention of Mr. Kaasgaard and a search of his name on the Internet shows up only letters from him that claim he founded the party. There are no articles from independent sources making this claim. I've asked Election Canada how to get the list of the people who signed the GPC registration papers in 1983 and will verify with you then that Mr. Kaasgaard is not on the list (Stephen Burtch, who signed the registration papers, says Steven Kaasgaard was not a signatory). But even if he was on the list, it would still be erroneous to claim that he founded the party as that title, if it has to be attributed to a single individual, would have to go to Air Canada airline pilot Edward (Ted) Mousseau, who used his frequent stopovers in cities across Canada to put green-minded groups in touch with each other and to build momentum for creating the GPC. I'm not saying that Mr. Kaasgaard was not involved in the early history of the Greens in Ontario - he was. He was noted for his direct actions designed to embarrass politicians and he was involved in the constitutional struggles within the Green Part of Ontario. But he did not found the GPC, which is what is being claimed in this article. If you read the second paragraph of the current version of the article, you can see that it is defensively written and seems to be responding to other complaints that he was not centrally involved in the founding of the GPC. The text in question claims there are many people who can attest to his involvement and that there are many newspaper articles about it, but fails to name or cite anything to support what is obviously a controversial claim. I'm an adjunct prof at McGill so I have access to full text newspaper records of every newspaper in Canada going back to the early 1980s. I searched Steven Kaasgaard's name and the only hits were referring to his electoral runs for the Greens and an event in June, 1983 in which he chained himself to the gate of the landfill site in Penetanguishene to protest against a three-year extension of the site's use. There is no mention of him being the founder of the GPC. So this is the situation: 1) you have two people (myself and Stephen Burtch) who were directly involved in founding the party (through our work in organizing the 1983 founding congress in Ottawa) and one of whom (Burtch) signed the papers registering the party, both of whom say that Mr. Kaasgaard was not directly involved in founding the GPC, or if he was, he certainly didn't play the exclusive and central role that this article claims 2) you have changes to an article that add strangely personal and defensive text claiming that Mr. Kaasgaard founded the party, text that appears to have been written by someone in Mr. Kaasgaards small organization, and that claims multiple sources of evidence but cites none of them; 3) a complete lack of any evidence supporting this claim in Canadian newspapers going back to the early 1980s. I think you can gather from this that the changes to this article added on June 2, 2013 were probably erroneous. They should be removed. In my opinion, the March 6, 2013 article reads fine. 198.48.192.100 (talk) 03:33, 18 December 2013 (UTC)Ray Tomalty198.48.192.100 (talk) 03:33, 18 December 2013 (UTC)

That's a LOT of information to take in! I almost fell asleep reading your post. My only other suggestion would be to bring this issue up on the talk page of the article, and see what others think. K6ka (talk | contrib) 17:59, 18 December 2013 (UTC)

Hi, K6ka. I saw that you copyedited a grammatical error in a content rework by Spiritclaymore (please see his talk page). I've actually reverted to an earlier version as Spiritclaymore has been edit warring over this article and others. Please check his additions in order to confirm whether or not you would agree with me that my evaluation of the content is correct or not. I have tried to reason with him a couple of times, but am receiving uncivil responses.

I'd be grateful if you could keep the article on your watchlist as this is not his only attempt at blanking sources and changing the content. Thanks for being so vigilant! --Iryna Harpy (talk) 03:01, 17 December 2013 (UTC)

Not to mention that he violated the 3RR, and he apparently removed citations to content. The thing that really gets a chuckle out of me is that he said "stupid english propaganda wiki". He also ignored the guidelines and policies surrounding issues like this.
I'm currently monitoring the page right now, but judging by the fact that he hasn't edited in a while, he's probably asleep or busy IRL. You might want to bring the issue up to the administrators and see if we can get the issue resolved in a manner that will allow everyone to sleep easier. K6ka (talk | contrib) 03:11, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
Cheers, K6ka! If he starts up again, I'm just going to start an AN/I. Just thought I'd be a 'nice' gal and give him a chance to provide some reliable sources. Nice to meet you. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 03:28, 17 December 2013 (UTC)

Grace Jones

Hi K6ka, I'm messaging you in reference to Grace Jones. Grace Jones was born as Beverley Grace Mendoza. Here is a link to my source http://www.glamourmagazine.co.uk/search?q=grace%20jones. Hopefully you will consider using my edit as I feel it will improve the article. 95.83.253.32 (talk) 18:10, 18 December 2013 (UTC)

Denied. There's nothing in the link you provided that hinted at "Mendoza." Please keep in mind that your sources must be reliable, and it must link directly to the information. Also, read WP:CITE to learn how to cite sources in the article. K6ka (talk | contrib) 18:14, 18 December 2013 (UTC)

Send legitimate reports, and do not simply blank the page. You cannot simply "shut down" a page even if it's about you or your company because Wikipedia articles don't belong to you. Also, the article was being developed on a user space, not in the usual public space, so you'll need to contact the author of the user page regarding this issue. Thank you. K6ka (talk | contrib) 21:30, 19 December 2013 (UTC)

Bob Cassidy

I just deleted the info and left out my "sharlatan" comment. I hope that's o.k.

Mr. Cassidy is a new-comer magician/mentalist and is trying all kinds of ways to get his name to show up on Google to get gigs. I don't think that's what Wikipedia is about, is it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.21.89.200 (talk) 04:47, 25 December 2013 (UTC)

You'll need a citation to prove that statement. Also, you shouldn't just remove content from entire articles, since that will be picked up as vandalism by bots and rollbackers alike. If he actually is trying to rip Google off and make his name appear on every web page on the Internet, you should add it to the article (with a citation of course). But before you do that, please discuss this on the article talk page first. K6ka (talk | contrib) 14:13, 25 December 2013 (UTC)

Raju last statement need to be discussed

The last statement in author said among the other peasant castes, but didn't said Raju from peasant caste. Raju is kshatriya - (suryavanshi and chandhravamshi).

> A report published by the Overseas Development Institute in 2002 described the Rajus of Andhra as a peasant caste and noted that along with the Kapu and Vellamar they were "important communities with considerable political significance in the State, although in numerical terms they constitute only a small percentage of the population and spatially are confined only to small pockets."[12] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.65.84.197 (talk) 16:10, 25 December 2013 (UTC)

...sorry, just looking at that makes me wonder whether this is written in English or not. Since I do not know anything about the subject, I would advise you to bring the issue up to the article talk page, and come to a consensus first. K6ka (talk | contrib) 16:16, 25 December 2013 (UTC)

Question

Hello, K6ka. Thanks for recommending Twinkle. I have another question: I add the template {{subst:vandal1}} to the IP's that make vandalism, but I've seen other users placed another template that starts with December 2013, my question is: What is this template?. Thanks.--Gray16 (talk) 22:08, 30 December 2013 (UTC)

That's not part of the template. Generally, when you add warnings, you group them by month. So for example,

==November 2013==
{{subst:uw-test1}} ~~~~
==December 2013==
{{subst:uw-vandalism1}} ~~~~
{{subst:uw-vandalism2}} ~~~~

While you issue warnings according to the date (only for IP addresses)(so if an IP vandalizes a page one day and you issue a level one warning, then 24 hours later it vandalizes again, you still issue a level 1 warning because there's the possibility that the owner was changed), they are organized by month and then year. Use level 2 headings, nothing else. You have to do this manually, like shown above. However, tools like Twinkle and any other tool that can automatically issue user warnings will do this automatically for you. K6ka (talk | contrib) 23:42, 30 December 2013 (UTC)

RE: Revolver

Could you please weigh in at this post I started? Some editor reverted all of my changes and sweepingly dismissed them as vandalism. Dan56 (talk) 21:59, 1 January 2014 (UTC)

NP, dropped in and provided a response. You should probably discuss it with the editor that reverted your edits as well on their talk page. K6ka (talk | contrib) 22:27, 1 January 2014 (UTC)

RE: Ninoradio

I've just been looking at the Nino Firetto page and am wondering what happened to the large sections removed by Ninoradio? Given that the user who did it is the subject of the page, isn't this a violation of policy? I don't see anything wrong/irrelevant with the content which was removed, other than it being potentially embarassing to Mr Firetto. Simon.guerrero (talk) 11:56, 2 January 2014 (UTC)

Blanking the entire page is not acceptable in Wikipedia's policies either, as it will confuse readers. If the article is about yourself, consult WP:BIOSELF and solve the issue through discussion, not by blanking. Remember, you don't own an article, even if it's about yourself. About Miss Asia Pacific World

The pageant cannot merger together because the 1st edition and current edition is different. For example Venue, Presenter, tv, date of final etc. But BabbaQ just did without any discussions — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lemontee33 (talkcontribs) 22:13, 3 January 2014 (UTC)

But don't you think blanking the whole page would confuse readers? K6ka (talk | contrib) 22:16, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
Lemontee, please check your talk page and edit only when consensus is reached. K6ka (talk | contrib) 22:48, 3 January 2014 (UTC)

Core-Mark

I noticed that all of my edits are being ignored, but I don't know why. Can you help me understand? Core-Mark has been around since 1888 and Fleming owned us for less than 9 months back in 2002. We need to update our profile to reflect a more accurate and current status. Can you help me figure out how to do that? Much appreciated, Milton Draper Director of IR for Core-Mark — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.159.95.215 (talk) 22:17, 3 January 2014 (UTC)

If you want to write about the company today, you should create a new section for that, instead of replacing the content in "History". Remember to cite your sources, and do not make it promotional - Wikipedia is not for promotional material or advertising. Also, read WP:ISNOT for a full list of what NOT to put in an article. Be sure to write in a neutral point of view. And lastly, you might want to see WP:LOP for a list of our policies and guidelines. If you need any more help, feel free to place {{helpme}} on your talk page, or pay a visit to the Teahouse and ask your question there. K6ka (talk | contrib) 22:23, 3 January 2014 (UTC)

Mississippi John Hurt

From your comment you feel that my edit was not use full! I respectfully totally disagree. Where and how it came about for an artist to preform after 50 years is important. Hi, please leave your message on this page, not my edit notice page. I reverted your edit because you did not cite any sources. You left dangling "ref" tags (e.g. <ref></ref>), so I took it to mean an editing test. Please read WP:CITE on how to cite your sources, and use the sandbox to experiment. Also, at the end of every comment you make on a talk page you should add four tildes (~~~~) - that will produce your signature. Thanks. K6ka (talk | contrib) 14:18, 4 January 2014 (UTC)

I undid your restoration of the page because it was the page author who blanked it....William 14:25, 7 January 2014 (UTC)

Yeah, that was what Huggle told me. Should've used "Removal of AfD" template instead, which is why I reverted his/her edit. K6ka (talk | contrib) 14:26, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
No problem. Cheers!...William 14:45, 7 January 2014 (UTC)

RE: Seal of Phitsanulok

Hello I'm SietsLim

The most important remark of my revision to the Seal of Phitsanulok is:

Footnote 2 is linked to THAILEX/etc. This means an advertisement for dating, massage, etc.

Not a link to: coat of arms (this not excist) and not a postal stamp.

I liked to see this footnote disappeared.

For five years living in the city of Phitsanulok as a Dutch pensionado.

Thai speak of the temple simply as "Wat Yai" this means "Large Temple".

But the real name is: "Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat Voramahaviha" and nobody speaks of "Wat Mahathat".

I hope this will explains why I made the revision.

--SietsLim (talk) 14:34, 8 January 2014 (UTC)

You'll need to provide a citation for that, as we cannot accept original research. The main reason why I reverted your edit is because you added your signature to the article. Signatures (~~~~) are only used for talk pages like this one, not in the main article namespace. K6ka (talk | contrib) 17:40, 8 January 2014 (UTC)

Information icon Hello. Your recent edit to Kalamazoo College appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person or organization added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. About the change i did in Joe Penna's page

Hello, I tried to change the page because according to the brazilian wikipedia page (http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Penna) and him interview with Rafinha Bastos (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocDV5r5Vx3o you can listen he telling him full name at 24 seconds of video) him real name is "Jônatas de Moura Penna". I think it's good to put this name as an information, not even in the name section, but at least as an additional information. Thank you for reading this message, and sorry if it contains gramatical errors, i'm from Brazil. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 177.99.156.207 (talk) 01:41, 16 January 2014 (UTC)

Well, I will assume that "Joe Penna" is the English translation for "Jônatas de Moura Penna". Since I am completely useless at Spanish (and Google Translate isn't exactly something you 100% trust either), I think I'll leave it at what it currently is. You may want to ask on the article's talk page before re-adding. K6ka (talk | contrib) 02:11, 16 January 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Angry Video Game Nerd, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Doug Walker (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Huggle

Hey there, I see you have recently been making reverts using Huggle. I'm confused, I have two machines here with stable internet connection and the IRC feeds on Huggle are turning up nothing. E.g. there are no edits showing up to monitor. I take it your feed is still populating with recent edits? — MusikAnimal talk 18:07, 17 January 2014 (UTC)

I can't connect to the IRC feed either. Huggle automatically used the slower API queries instead. K6ka (talk | contrib) 18:08, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
I see. How might I instruct Huggle to use the API? Mine apparently did not do so automatically. Thanks! — MusikAnimal talk 18:11, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
The only way I know of to force Huggle to use the API queries is to use it with a crappy Internet connection. My school has god-awful WiFi, so when I open up Huggle on my laptop in class (Yes, I dare do that!), it always connects me to the API. There's no real way to force it to use API, and you can't force it to use IRC. K6ka (talk | contrib) 18:15, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
Found it. System > Options > uncheck "Use IRC feed for recent changes if possible". Thanks! — MusikAnimal talk 18:36, 17 January 2014 (UTC)

RE: Wild 9

<Excuse me, i would really appreciate it if you would please stop reverting the wild 9 entry page, it took me hours to write out and i'd really appreciate it if you left it alone, i mean its only respectful, have a little courtesy, i tried to make the entry better for those who actually are intrested in reading CORRECT info, so please i ask again, have some respect please -Axel455> — Preceding unsigned comment added by Axel455 (talkcontribs) 18:30, 17 January 2014 (UTC)

Relax. Your edit is still there - your hard work isn't erased from the Internet. Each page has a page history where all previous revisions are stored, and restoring one is very simple. I reverted your edit because it had "(ALL INFO WAS TAKEN FROM THE OFFICIAL WILD 9 PLAY BOOK AND IS 100% CORRECT)". Instead of doing that, you should cite your sources. Also, make sure it was written in an encyclopedic format. Peruse WP:LOP (with a mug of coffee and a bar of chocolate), and feel free to ask any questions you may have at the Teahouse to get some editing tips. I think s/he is refering to your revert on this page. -(tJosve05a (c) 23:22, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
Alright. I reverted your edit because it contained hateful or offensive material and removed a large portion of content. It also failed to maintain a neutral point of view. K6ka (talk | contrib) 23:34, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
