I did not know plurals were not allowed in a username. I requested a username change. I can confirm I am just a single person. Please unblock me.

Rename not done

[edit]

Please choose an individual user name. Not a job description with a misspelling. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 19:37, 20 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have submitted a new request for “ Deltacreator”. Please note that my previously requested username is not a job description nor a misspelling. “Werker” is Dutch for “Worker”. In any case, Deltacreator also works for me (no pun intended), although it is not my preferred username. Deltaworkers (talk) 20:02, 20 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

What does the "Delta" signify? --Orange Mike | Talk 20:10, 20 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I was inspired by the Dutch Delta Works. I guess there’s a wikipedia page with more info about that ;) Deltaworkers (talk) 20:17, 20 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That would be Delta Works, not to be confused with Delta Work. Peaceray (talk) 05:40, 22 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Double rename request

[edit]

Would it be possible to remove my rename request for “deltawerker” and accept my request for “deltacreator”? I don’t think I’m allowed to remove a previous rename request cause it warns me to not edit anything. If it is allowed, could you kindly assist me? Pinging User:Daniel Case Deltaworkers (talk) 06:43, 22 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Renamer note:That would not be a name indicating you as an individual. It indicates a drone droning in a business. Because Wikipedia's policy is that usernames should not be shared between more than one individual, the following types of usernames are not permitted because they imply shared use:
  • Usernames that are simply names of companies or groups are not permitted (these also fall under Promotional names).
  • Personal usernames that imply shared access, such as "Jack and Jill", are not permitted.
  • Usernames that are names of posts within organizations, such as "Secretary of the XY Foundation", are not permitted, as such a post may be held by different persons at different times.
  • However, usernames are acceptable if they contain a company or group name but are clearly intended to denote an individual person, such as "Mark at WidgetsUSA", "Jack Smith at the XY Foundation", "WidgetFan87", etc. Please choose again. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 13:12, 25 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Anuna De Wever

[edit]

Suggestion for help. She was involved in a controversy that received press coverage. This can be included in the article. It should not be in the lead section, but in the body of the article. When you say "She got criticized" it sounds biased. It could be changed to:

In 2021, she was in a controversy involving entertainer Gert Verhulst; Wever made personal attacks against Verhulst for his position on climate change. She was criticized by some government officials for attacking the person and not the subject, "personal attacks do not improve the climate", one said.

Hope that helps. - GreenC 10:42, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
