Casualty series 33

Hello,

Would you be able to add the episode summary for Episode 46 of Casualty series 33? I've done every other summary missing from the article, but as it was a double episode, I'm not sure how to format it and I believe you'd do a better job of that than me. Thank you! – DarkGlow (talk) 22:30, 20 August 2019 (UTC)

DarkGlow I can certainly give it a go! - JuneGloom07 Talk 23:47, 20 August 2019 (UTC)

Australian and UK Soaps....

Hello, old acquaintance, hope you are doing well. I am writing to you in regards to both Australian and UK soap operas. I would do what I am about to mention, however, do not want to step on the toes of those who regularly edit related articles, and be seen as an "outsider," etc. However, it appears character lists are in violation of MOS:DATERANGE. After a discussion on another talk page, I've come to be made aware of several mistakes on these pages that violate the manual of style for Wikipedia. Per the previously mentioned MOS, simply listing 2010– for duration is incorrect. Per the MOS, it states: For ranges "to present", constructions such as 1982–present (with unspaced ndash), January 1, 2011 – present (spaced ndash), or January 2011 – present (spaced ndash) may be used, but other constructions may be more appropriate in prose (see § Statements likely to become outdated). In tables and infoboxes where space is limited, pres. may be used (1982–pres.). Do not use incomplete-looking constructions such as 1982– and 1982–. Character lists and character pages should be updated to reflect this MOS. Also, in addition, 2019– is also wrong, and should be listed as 2019 as 2019 is the present tense. Again, bringing this to your attention, due to your extensive work with these soaps, as I don't want to be seen as disruptive to long-term editors and anonymous visitors. livelikemusic talk! 22:25, 3 September 2019 (UTC)

Hi! I am well, hope you are too. Thanks for the lowdown on the dates ranges, I had no idea. Though to be honest, I think I'm going to follow WP:IGNORE. I'm not a fan of the way "1982–present" looks, so I won't be going out my way to change/update the iboxes and lists. - JuneGloom07 Talk 19:44, 6 September 2019 (UTC)
I'm doing alright; I've been better, but I've also been worse. And that's fine if you do choose to ignore. I would, but I just find it a bit too.... off-putting from the MOS, you know? livelikemusic talk! 23:02, 7 September 2019 (UTC)

Christina Alessi

Why did you remove the photo of Christina in 2019 from the article? The same thing was done by another use on the Dee Bliss page, and is still there. I don't get why there is a problem with updating character information with relevant data?

101.182.39.177 (talk) 09:56, 9 September 2019 (UTC)

It was going to be deleted because non-free images cannot be uploaded to Commons, it was unnecessary for a three/four episode appearance, and it wasn't particularly good. - JuneGloom07 Talk 23:48, 9 September 2019 (UTC)

Ben Hall

Hi there, noticed you made an amazingly detailed wiki page for the Neighbours character Ned Willis. I’d like there to be one for the actor who plays Ned, Ben Hall but as a complete novice on wiki I’m a bit out of my depth - is that something you could do? Be happy to supply any info needed. Benhall23 (talk) 22:12, 28 October 2019 (UTC)

Sorry, but I'm not looking to create any biographies right now. This page might help you with getting started though, it's full of useful information about how Wikipedia works. Or you can ask any questions you have at the teahouse. - JuneGloom07 Talk 03:31, 24 November 2019 (UTC)

Emma Brooker

"Ah, a copy & paste job with no attribution and no sources for the other development info." What a rude thing to say when a lot of the work I put into the page was my own. The sections I copied were, in my opinion at least, complete and I had no idea that I needed to provide attribution when copying information to the same character page. Please be kinder in future, set an example - get some class. Connorguy99 (talk) 22:49, 16 November 2019 (UTC)

Connorguy99 And yet it's the truth. From what I can see, your additions were mostly a storyline section and a completely unsourced development section. Everything else came from the list entry, which as you now know, needs attribution since other editors worked hard to source and add that information (btw I mentioned attribution to you on your talk page back in June 2018). Perhaps you could take your own advice though, since you've been less than civil in some of your own replies and edit summaries. The only example I need to set is with my work. Have a nice evening. - JuneGloom07 Talk 00:01, 17 November 2019 (UTC)
I've never been rude in edit summaries, very honest though. And I'm being honest now, don't think you can get away with talking down to people. An "cut and paste job" when I created over 6 thousand words of my own, ridiculous comment. Connorguy99 (talk) 00:21, 17 November 2019 (UTC)
Apologies, I didn't realise being honest was calling other editors idiotic, blind, and trolls. And you did perform a cut and paste job with the info from the list entry, before you added the additional content. Not ridiculous, truth.
don't think you can get away with talking down to people Is this some kind of threat?
My frustrations at poorly constructed articles, lazy editing, unsourced additions, etc, often manifest in sarcasm and what you think are rude summaries. I rarely, if ever, swear on here, and I often hold my tongue.
Moving on, I look forward to seeing you develop the article, as there is a fair bit of info and sources out there already. I believe she is getting a love interest soon, so that'll only increase coverage. - JuneGloom07 Talk 03:32, 24 November 2019 (UTC)
Suggesting that JuneGloom07 needs to get some class is rather rude. You should keep any discussion civil and preferably on topic rather than trying to make things personal. JuneGloom07 was following procedure and you made wild accusations.Rain the 1 22:03, 24 November 2019 (UTC)
That comment was intended to be rude, in retaliation. I do not believe that "following procedure" should allow someone to be so dismissive of another person's work. Connorguy99 (talk) 02:36, 25 November 2019 (UTC)

Your e-mail

I don't reply to user e-mail. If you would like me to comment, I'm happy to do so here, but you may prefer it not to be public (my comments would not identify a particular user). Let me know. Thanks.--Bbb23 (talk) 13:33, 25 November 2019 (UTC)

@Bbb23: Sorry for the late reply and for the email! I was going to archive this, but I realised that I could still use your advice in the future. The week I sent you the email, I had gotten into a discussion with another editor about an edit summary of mine that he thought was rude (it was actually just snarky, and born out of frustration at seeing them using copied and pasted info without attribution). During this, an IP from a sockpuppet, that has previously harassed and wikihounded me, left a comment on my talk page and the other editor's. I removed them both per WP:DENY, but the other editor undid my edit and replied to them (I never did read it). What I wanted to know was how could I let the other editor know that they shouldn't interact with a sock without violating WP:DWS and WP:DENY? I didn't want to draw more attention to the sock, but it seemed wrong that the other editor was talking with them. - JuneGloom07 Talk 03:38, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
This is way too old for me.--Bbb23 (talk) 19:01, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
@Bbb23: That's fine. If the issue comes up again, I'll ask for advice at the time. Thank you. - JuneGloom07 Talk 20:17, 20 February 2020 (UTC)

Home and Away

Hey if you watch home away, Dylan and Lance died Scott Larkin tells Robbo that they found Lance's Body and that They found Dylan-Carter murdered in his cell also Mason Morgan just got shot in the finale today so yeah, Also Grace is now Grace morgan since Tori owns legal rights over her. 59.102.77.50 (talk) 09:50, 27 November 2019 (UTC)\

Also Source (sorry coulden't find any since their minor characters), ill find the home and away episode this was the episode, the unexpected thing was Lance and Dylan being found dead https://www.backtothebay.net/episodes/2019/episode-7266/

Mason's Death Source https://www.nowtolove.com.au/celebrity/tv/orpheus-pledger-leaves-home-and-away-60547

Also im an Aussie so i get it early btw 59.102.77.50 (talk) 09:57, 27 November 2019 (UTC)

Missed this and now it's moot, as the list has been deleted, but the reason the characters were removed was because there were no sources added at the time. Grace was not credited with a surname, which is why that was removed. Also, I kinda don't like the phrase "Tori owns her". Grace is her daughter, not a possession. - JuneGloom07 Talk 03:38, 20 February 2020 (UTC)

JuneGloom07 left this message on my talk page:

Hi, thank you again for replying to my old message on Talk:Summer Bay. I've noticed a number of fictional characters/elements being nominated for deletion, and I was just wondering if there was a discussion about doing this somewhere, maybe at a WikiProject? As someone who edits in this area (mostly soap opera related articles), I feel like I've missed something.

@TTN:, @Piotrus:, you've been nominating quite a lot of fiction-related articles for deletion recently. Can you answer JuneGloom07's question? JIP | Talk 08:22, 17 December 2019 (UTC)

The best centralized place to discuss this would be the talk of Wikipedia:Notability (fiction) since all relevant deletion discussions are based on articles not meeting this criteria (of course it is just a more detailed formulation of the more general WP:GNG). --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 10:05, 17 December 2019 (UTC)
Thanks, I'll create a further discussion there. JIP | Talk 10:23, 17 December 2019 (UTC)

@JuneGloom07: @JIP: @Andrew Davidson: @Reyk: @Sgeureka: @Masem: To answer your question, I'm about to respond to Wikipedia:Notability (fiction) to help clear up a few things. A lot of it is the refusal to get the point and engage in dispute resolution by TTN and Piotrus, from which I plan filing an WP:ANI report over the weekend if they do not rectify their behaviour. Multiple users have spoken out against it, and one is even pressing me on my talk page to bring this situation to administrator attention. My reply to WP:Notability (fiction) will help better explain it. TTN has been disingenuous ever since I confronted him about it and several of the deletion nominations are built on erroneous rationales that TTN refused to correct (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Goblin (Marvel Comics)). Simply put, TTN and Piotrus are not properly assessing whether or not an article is notable or beyond saving before nominating for deletion. As TTN has stated, they are simply looking for as many articles as they can, scrolling down to the References section, and immediately nominating large amounts of articles based on that alone. This is not how WP:GNG works, and this blatantly conflicts with WP:BEFORE, WP:NPOSSIBLE, and WP:PRESERVE. TTN has been repeatedly warned to stop making haphazard nominations and engage in dispute resolution, which he refuses to do because (according to him) there's a massive secret cabal at WP:COMICS and WP:DSN that will oppose him if he does so. Aside from the obvious WP:IDHT, TTN has also displayed a strong battleground mentality when confronted and would rather cast aspersions and rant about "winning" an imaginary argument than address the concerns with his behaviour. The fact that TTN has been sanctioned in the past for similar behaviour is just icing on the cake. DarkKnight2149 22:48, 18 December 2019 (UTC)

What on earth did I start? - JuneGloom07 Talk 03:36, 19 December 2019 (UTC)

Could you help?

Hi June! Following the mass PROD implementations on Doctors articles, I've worked the majority of the articles into existing characters lists. However, the following four were introduced in years that don't have a list.

Would you be able to add to them to satisfy GNG, if possible? I would do them, but with your vast magazine resources, good editing skills and longer viewing, I think you'd be more suitable. Let's hope we can save every single article! – DarkGlow (talk) 22:13, 19 December 2019 (UTC)

@DarkGlow: So Al is being worked on and hopefully will satisfy GNG soon. I'll look for sources for the other three, but they might have to be redirected to the cast list until a more suitable list can be created for merging. Unfortunately, it looks like their major storylines occurred in 2007–2009, which just happens to be the gap in my magazine collection. - JuneGloom07 Talk 23:13, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
I've added to Al's article too. I think this huge launch of deletion on Doctors is completely unnecessary, but it's a wake up call for the state that the character articles are in. I've slowly been improving the Doctors-verse over the past few months, but this attack of PRODing will push me to clean all the character articles and lists up. Do you think Al's page will be kept? – DarkGlow (talk) 00:05, 20 December 2019 (UTC)
@DarkGlow:I will have a look in my magazines as I recall info for Michelle. I noticed that you sourced the plot section on Al Haskey. You do not need to source a plot section consisting of in-universe information as the show itself is the source. I might try to convert them into development information instead, is that okay?Rain the 1 00:14, 20 December 2019 (UTC)
@Raintheone: Ooh, never knew that – sure, go ahead! Wouldn't want my sources to go to waste, let's save this article! – DarkGlow (talk) 00:16, 20 December 2019 (UTC)
Hello June – I was just expanding Charlie Bradfield using storyline information from the Doctors website. It mentions a wife, but I can't find any mention of her name online. Do you happen to know it? – DarkGlow (talk) 14:49, 23 December 2019 (UTC)
Hey, I have no idea, sorry! - JuneGloom07 Talk 02:30, 24 December 2019 (UTC)
@JuneGloom07: Hey – I'm venturing onto the next part of my Doctors cleanup, one I've been avoiding: the series articles. In your opinion, do you think the series articles from series one to nine can be salvaged? In my opinion, they serve no real importance, and the sourcing is poor/non-existent in most cases. I was thinking a bundled deletion nomination, unless you think they could be salvaged? – DarkGlow (talk) 20:46, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) @DarkGlow: Just wanted to add to this as I've really liked the work on the Doctors articles recently - they've made for good reading! For the series articles, have you considered creating an episode list instead? (see List of Holby City episodes for one example) This would save all the information being deleted and could be beneficial as it could include more recent series too. Hope that helps. Soaper1234 - talk 21:31, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
@Soaper1234: Thank you! It's taking a while, but it's getting there. There was actually a List of Doctors episodes, but I redirected it a while back due to being outdated and hard to update due to there being over 3000 episodes. If it was up to date when I found it, I'd have kept it up, but the thought of adding 3,843 episodes is a tad overwhelming, even for me! – DarkGlow (talk) 21:36, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
@DarkGlow: Well, if that is the only issue, I wouldn't mind helping out and building the page as much as I can. Especially since all the episodes are online on the BBC website/the series article pages. Soaper1234 - talk 21:40, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
I feel like Doctors (series 1) could/should be saved, but it might be odd if it was the only one. I think a List of Doctors episodes is a good idea though. - JuneGloom07 Talk 21:52, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
@DarkGlow and JuneGloom07: Just an update on the list. I've started creating the list, but got to series 7 and the maximum template usage had been reached. I'm looking into some other options for it, but I was wondering if you guys had any ideas? I considered splitting it up but thought they would be too many articles... Soaper1234 - talk 18:57, 30 December 2019 (UTC)
@Soaper1234: Perhaps a split, similar to List of Casualty episodes (series 1–20)/List of Casualty episodes? – DarkGlow (talk) 19:18, 30 December 2019 (UTC)
@DarkGlow: My only concern would be that there would be about four articles for it (so far...) because each episode table takes up a fair bit of room. Soaper1234 - talk 19:23, 30 December 2019 (UTC)
@Soaper1234: Hmm, that's not good. I think we're starting to see why soaps don't have these types of articles! I'm not quite sure how to solve it, other than sticking with the individual series articles or just a episode overview in the main article. - JuneGloom07 Talk 00:04, 31 December 2019 (UTC)
I agree with the above – @Soaper1234: I love the series overview on your sandbox and would much prefer that on the main article, rather than the current series overview! – DarkGlow (talk) 00:09, 31 December 2019 (UTC)
@JuneGloom07 and DarkGlow: Yes, that is a good idea. I'll add the overview to the main page. Should anything change in the future, the episode lists are always in the history of the series articles. Soaper1234 - talk 14:56, 31 December 2019 (UTC)
@Soaper1234 and JuneGloom07: Hey, just a note; I've started an article for 2020 Doctors characters on my sandbox – just wanted to give you a heads up/save you the bother, in case either of you were going to make it! Going to build it up gradually, and I'll probably publish the article when it hits around 5 characters in total. – DarkGlow (talk) 14:40, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
@DarkGlow: There were no plans here. I agree that it's best to wait until there's enough info and characters. I tend to create yearly lists when a regular or recurring character is announced, and there's plenty of sourced development/reception. - JuneGloom07 Talk 02:30, 9 January 2020 (UTC)

DYK nomination of The Conversation (Mad About You)

Hello! Your submission of The Conversation (Mad About You) at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. No worries, just the QPQ to do. Storye book (talk) 12:00, 28 December 2019 (UTC)

Hi June. I saw the DYK nom for The Conversation (Mad About You), which led me to read the article, and I just wanted to reach out and say that you did an excellent job with it! It was a really interesting read and made me want to watch the episode very much. I wanted to urge you to nominate it for good article, if you weren't already thinking of doing so, and if you do I would review it if time permits so feel free to reach out. Also, have you considered adding a screenshot from the episode to the article infobox? The framing of the camerawork (with the two actors against the bedroom door) is discussed in the article, so an image to illustrate it would be useful to the reader and I'd think would work as a fair use claim. Just a thought. Nice work! — Hunter Kahn 15:44, 16 January 2020 (UTC)

@Hunter Kahn Thank you so much! I think I might get it copy edited first, but I'll definitely nominate it for GA. I'll consider adding an infobox image too. I know it needs something, and I was trying to decide between an image of one of the actors or the director, but I think you could be right. The episode is available on YouTube if you want to see it. Working on the article actually made me want to watch more episodes, so I've been slowly making my way through season one. By the way, great work on the Bantha article. Seeing it go from AfD to GAN is amazing. - JuneGloom07 Talk 01:34, 17 January 2020 (UTC)

DYK for The Conversation (Mad About You)

On 23 January 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article The Conversation (Mad About You), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the Mad About You episode "The Conversation" was filmed with a single camera in one take, and broadcast without interruption from commercials? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/The Conversation (Mad About You). You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, The Conversation (Mad About You)), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

BSAs

Hi June! I know you have a collection of soap magazines, and I was wondering if you had any coverage on the British Soap Awards in 2000 and 2001. I'm forming an article for the Best Actress award on my sandbox, and can only seem to find 1 awardee and 1 nominee for those two years, which can't be right. – DarkGlow (talk) 10:33, 26 January 2020 (UTC)

@DarkGlow: I'll take a look, but I don't recall them being mentioned, probably because the magazines are not involved. Have you tried The Free Library too? - JuneGloom07 Talk 19:03, 26 January 2020 (UTC)
@DarkGlow Wanted you to know that I didn't forget about this. I found the winners of both award ceremonies, but no nominations. Sorry! - JuneGloom07 Talk 02:36, 20 February 2020 (UTC)

Is it possible for my date of birth to be removed from Wikipededia?

Hello, I was wondering if my date of birth (20th November 1978) can be removed from Wikipedia? There are many actors whose birthdays are not displayed. I am trying to figure out a way to please have it removed because it is not advantageous for my career when producers/decision makers know my age. I can appreciate if I physically appear too young or too old for a role but when I don't receive a role based solely on my date of birth it can be frustrating, especially if Wikipedia can remove it. Unfortunately, I don't know how to do this? Any help you can provide would be much appreciated. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sachpatch (talkcontribs) 09:17, 28 January 2020 (UTC)

@Sachpatch Not June here, but I saw your comment and wanted to intervene. You should not be editing on your own article per WP:COI, but I have removed your date of birth per WP:OUTING. – DarkGlow (talk) 09:47, 28 January 2020 (UTC)
@DarkGlow I thought WP:OUTING only applied to the outing of editors and their private info? Myself and 5 albert square have dealt with the removal of info from the Sachin Joab article in the past by another editor (please check out the talk page). Hopefully, she will take a look at this.
@Sachpatch I'm curious as to why you added your full birth date here? The article only ever mentioned the year. - JuneGloom07 Talk 18:27, 28 January 2020 (UTC)
Yeah, it's WP:BLPPRIVACY not WP:OUTING. If a subject complains about our inclusion of their date of birth, or the person is borderline notable, err on the side of caution and simply list the year, provided that there is a reliable source for it. - JuneGloom07 Talk 18:33, 28 January 2020 (UTC)
I've blocked them. If they are Sachin Joab then they need to email proof of that to Wikimedia. It's not outing though as the article only had the year before.-- 5 albert square (talk) 20:24, 28 January 2020 (UTC)

Phil Mitchell

I was wondering if we can have a talk here about the editing development of the EastEnders character Phil Mitchell, if you don't mind please?— Preceding unsigned comment added by Nicky Haugh (talkcontribs)

(talk page stalker) The correct place to have the discussion is Talk:Phil Mitchell. Please read WP:FANCRUFT and WP:LEAD before you do so. We really don't need entire essays in the articles, especially unreferenced information. The lead is only a brief synopsis of the article.-- 5 albert square (talk) 01:09, 4 February 2020 (UTC)
@Nicky Haugh I don't mind discussing the issue at all, although the article's talk page might be a better place. The information in the lead is being removed because it is not discussed in the article using reliable sources. It is also excessive detail only fans will likely be interested in. A lot of readers don't get beyond the lead, so it should summarise the article in a clear and concise way. If you had no idea who the character was, would you want to read through a list of fictional feuds, or learn more about casting, notable storylines and the impact he has had? If you take a look at WP:LEADDD, one of the points in the Don'ts column is Don't include information that is not covered later on. If you want that information included, then you could add the info covering the topic to the article, or take it to a fansite/Wikia. - JuneGloom07 Talk 03:02, 4 February 2020 (UTC)

Re: Hennessy

From what I can glean from scattered information Hennessy did time with Darren and they were going halves on the house job. It's frustrating when there's little to no information, Even Perfect Blend is sketchy on details too. Also Coral Reeves (Tad and Gemma's mum) is missing from your other list. She was played first by Denise Scott in 1996 then Donna Lee in 1999. Conquistador2k6 21 February 2020 11:53 (UTC)

I can understand the flags, but the table used the same source already referenced above? Uranium grenade (talk) 10:18, 23 February 2020 (UTC)

@Uranium grenade: Hi. So I thought the flags were unnecessary per MOS:FLAG, and both of the tables were unsourced and looked like original research to me. I believe everything else in the article is sourced, with the exception of a sentence or two in the lead. Personally, I don't see the point of the 'Previous top three' table, but that's a discussion for another time and place. - JuneGloom07 Talk 03:27, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

Izzie Torres

Hello – I'm currently developing an article for Isobel Torres on my second Sandbox, and would appreciate some input. I'm writing the development, but would love for more magazine sources to be used if possible, especially about the two Parkinson twins and Bethan Moore. Do you happen to have access to anything relating to her character? Thank you! – DarkGlow (talk) 22:48, 13 March 2020 (UTC)

@DarkGlow: Hi, I won't have anything for her first couple of years on the show, but I'll have a look at the issues from 2011 onwards. If she's a child character, there isn't likely to be much. - JuneGloom07 Talk 18:20, 14 March 2020 (UTC)
There was a highly profile kidnapping story called 'Carousel' in October 2010, and Bethan Moore may have had some coverage after being up at the BSAs, if that helps? (not sure it does but... yeah) – DarkGlow (talk) 18:41, 14 March 2020 (UTC)
@DarkGlow: So I checked the 2010 mags I do have and there was nothing about that storyline in the October issues. It wasn't even mentioned in the producer interview. I have yet to check anything beyond that, as I've been a bit busy, but I won't forget. - JuneGloom07 Talk 03:27, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

Dear JuneGloom07,

I hope that you're well. I am just emailing you to let you know I am unhappy that you rewrote a lot of the stuff I have written recently. I understand that you had to add storylines but I wish you hadn't rewritten what was already there as all of it had occurred.

Also, Finn may not know about the Prue incident but it is necessary as it justifies why I have added the category Fictional murderers at the bottom.

Yours Sincerely, Bevan. --BevantheMenace (talk) 03:23, 19 March 2020 (UTC)

@BevantheMenace: Apologies, I added in some missing storylines, rearranged/corrected others (for instance Claudia returned to dig up dirt on Elly, not gain custody of the baby) and cut some detail. Storylines should be from the character's POV, and he is yet to discover what happened to the bomb. It's possible he learns about it in future episodes. If not, then feel free to add a sentence back. I was planning on covering it in the development section later, since sources will be needed to back up any categories added. Also, just to let you know that the Births, marriages and deaths list you edited is not an article, but rather someone's userpace draft. The original article was deleted at WP:AfD. - JuneGloom07 Talk 03:27, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

Dear JuneGloom07,

I hope that you're well. I am just emailing you to let you know that I have created a new page called Episode 8325 about Finn Kelly and Susan Kennedy's two-hander and would like to add it into the external links section on Neighbours related pages coded {{Neighbours}}.

How would I be able to do this? And can you please help me edit this page?

Yours Sincerely, Bevan. --BevantheMenace (talk) 23:34, 24 March 2020 (UTC)

@BevantheMenace: Seems like you figured out how to add it. I will mention that right now the article does not pass notability guidelines and could be deleted. You need to add reliably sourced production and reception information. The WP:MOSTV guidelines may help you out with this. I considered starting a draft for that episode, but was put off by the lack of information. Good luck with it. - JuneGloom07 Talk 00:57, 25 March 2020 (UTC)
(TPW)There does not appear to be much information in that article. It is more a plot summary than an encyclopedic article about an episode of Neighbours. The structure is peculiar.. why have a subheading titled "Conception" when it is a short summary in the "Production" section? It is redundant. The image of Rob Mills is sitting in the reference section. It would be great if the article was expanded to meet WP:GNG.Rain the 1 09:45, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Suddenly

Hey, I spotted a really good chunk of information in the article Episode 523 (Neighbours). I do not have access to the TV Week source and wondered if you could possibly add the information to the article about the song at Suddenly (Angry Anderson song)?Rain the 1 13:51, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

This is the useful piece: "Minogue was asked by the producers to choose a romantic song to be [...] revealed that she wanted the song played at her own wedding.[2]"

You're in luck because I just pulled that magazine out! I might send you the piece instead because I think there was a lot more about the song than just that. - JuneGloom07 Talk 19:51, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Hi June

Hi June

Hope your well — Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.210.5.201 (talk) 00:34, 7 April 2020 (UTC)

i dont understand why you delete Cody's relatives??

Cody Willis is the aunt of Ned, Josh, Imogen, Paige, Roxy and Piper!

its a good way to connect the past character of Cody to the new characters who are still on the show.

Cody is one of the most memorable characters on the show.

example: you have Amy Williams as the sister of Elle Robinson - where yes its true, but the two never shared scenes.

i dont understand why Roxy, Imogen and Piper cant be classified as Cody's nieces? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.210.5.201 (talk) 00:32, 7 April 2020 (UTC)

Amy and Elle are half-sisters and direct relatives. Cody never interacted with or has notable significance to Ned, Josh, Imogen, Paige, Roxy and Piper. There's a more detailed explanation below. - JuneGloom07 Talk 15:15, 7 April 2020 (UTC)

Cody Willis - Neighbours

Hi June

Im the one that has tried numerous times to edit Cody Willis.

we need to add her nephews/nieces to her family/relationships

even though they haven't shared scenes with her, they are still her nieces/nephews.

it gives old viewers to see that an old character like Cody is connected to the current Willis clan.

Thanks, hope your well — Preceding unsigned comment added by DimiG83112 (talkcontribs) 00:49, 7 April 2020 (UTC)

Hi. To avoid cluttering up the infoboxes, only direct relatives and those that have notable connections or significance should be included. Cody was written out way before the nieces and nephews were introduced. If readers want to see how she is connected to them, they can look at the Willis family article or other character articles/infoboxes.
Per the documentation at Template:Infobox soap character: Relations need only be noted if the relationship holds some notable significance for the character in question.
And WP:SOAPS: For most characters, relatives listed should be limited to closer family and generations having some relevance to the character in question. Remember, more distant relations (step-great-grandchildren?) will be noted in the infoboxes of other characters more closely related to them. This is especially important for long-running characters, who tend to have an excessive amount of relations. Hope this helps. - JuneGloom07 Talk 15:12, 7 April 2020 (UTC)

DYK for CasualtyXHolby

On 7 May 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article CasualtyXHolby, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that early drafts of the television drama "CasualtyXHolby" included a vehicle striking an electrical substation to cause a blackout, before a cyberattack was substituted instead? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/CasualtyXHolby. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, CasualtyXHolby), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hey June – I've just seen in WOTV mag that a staff member is leaving The Mill on Doctors. Spoilers point towards it being Ayesha, but I can't find a single RS about it. I was wondering if you'd seen anything about Ayesha in Inside Soap? – DarkGlow (talk) 20:48, 19 May 2020 (UTC)

Steve Willis

Hi, I think you might have removed my edit on Steve Willis' Wikipedia. I realise it is unreferenced but I don't know how to add references. I don't want to know either as I don't really have the time. I don't know if you are Australian or not. Steve Willis and Michelle Bridges are very well known in Australia. Michelle had a fall from grace in January this year when she was convicted of drink driving. It was widely reported in the media then that she confirmed her split with Steve Willis. It is not known when they actually separated. If you look at her Wikipedia page it states that in January 2020 she confirmed that her and Steve Willis had split. This is referenced. If it was you that removed my edit on Steve Willis could you please explain why when you could just have added the reference to it. Frasier Episodes

Dear June,

I would like to thank you for your contribution to the viewers figures with sources for the Frasier episodes. If it's not too much trouble and of course if you have the time, you mind doing it for maybe some of the other seasons? You might be the only one who does. I would really like to do it myself, but I sadly lack access (or can't find for the life of me) to any sufficient sources on that regard.

Sincerely,

Alaios (talk) 02:14, 15 October 2020 (UTC)

@Alaios: Hi, that's no problem. The Season 7 article was on my watchlist anyway, so I thought I'd replace the unsourced figures in between projects. I did wonder if I was going to be the only one doing it. Since it's not too much work, I'll complete a few more seasons. - JuneGloom07 Talk 01:11, 16 October 2020 (UTC)
@JuneGloom07: It’s a shame most seasons had no sourced figures. Maybe others will notice and do the rest of the seasons. Season 2 is only missing Adventures in Paradise Part 2, for some reason. Alaios (talk) 02:59, 16 October 2020 (UTC)
@Alaios: That's weird, I'll try and find the missing figure for that one. - JuneGloom07 Talk 18:16, 16 October 2020 (UTC)
@JuneGloom07: I found it simply strange that only that one episode was missing, but either way, you're probably better off finishing off any other seasons you'd like to do. Alaios (talk) 22:46, 16 October 2020 (UTC)
@JuneGloom07:Hi there. Sorry to bother you. I’d like to say that using the Wayback Machine, I successfully restored seasons 1, 3, 4 and even 5! Sadly, I cannot do season 6, since the person who provided screenshots of USA Today did not provide for the rest of the decade, so I’d need your help on that season 6 and then the episodes viewers would be complete (except for seasons 10 & 11, but that’s whatever haha) Alaios (talk) 14:26, 11 November 2020 (UTC)
@Alaios: Hey, you're no bother at all. You've done a great job, so I'll try and finish the last few seasons. Btw, you don't need to ping me on my own talk page. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk 03:41, 12 November 2020 (UTC)

Oh, thanks. :D Well, I didn't know I did not have to do that, haha. :P I was trying to do the sources for also seasons 9-11 of Cheers, and I noticed that only starting with season 8 (1989-1990), they have the actual viewers figures, I assumed that was when figures for individual episodes became published. Then, I saw that Roseanne's 1988-1989 season (so, Cheers season 7) does indeed have the viewers numbers, but sadly to a source that is locked behind a paywall. Now, I'm a little confused when they started publishing total viewers per episode, I was so confident that Cheers' 8th season was the first time lol

Casualty awards

Hello – I've had a bit of a break from content creation for a few days, but I'm back and hopefully better. I was wondering if you had any sources for the 1998 RTS and the 1999 TV Quick awards? These are the only two awards left unreferenced, and I don't want to include them if I cannot find a ref. It would be such a great help! – DarkGlow (contribstalk) 16:05, 30 January 2021 (UTC)

@DarkGlow: Hey, I did look for the 98 RTS Awards when I found the 92 source, but couldn't find anything. I've looked for the other award and drew a blank there too. Sorry! - JuneGloom07 Talk 01:49, 1 February 2021 (UTC)

Revertions

Hey – I hope you are well 😊 I just saw your message – I was under the impression that you could edit it, as the main editor stated that they had left it open so that others could edit and contribute. I will check with with though. DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 00:41, 3 March 2021 (UTC)

@DaniloDaysOfOurLives: You didn't ask if you could edit it and removed content. Editing a userspage draft without asking is really rude and one of my absolute pet hates. I think it would be best if you revert your changes until User:AnemoneProjectors responds to your message. - JuneGloom07 Talk 01:40, 3 March 2021 (UTC)

The reason I didn't ask was because on the page it stated that it was left open so that people could contribute. I would never, ever vandalise a main page and I don't think it is fair that I am being told off when others have also edited it in the past...

In this [summary], it states that help can be received. I would never ever vandalise someone else's page at all and I only did it so I could help. Also, I removed content because some of the current characters had left, but I also added content. DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 01:48, 3 March 2021 (UTC)

Regardless, it's still common courtesy to ask if you can help with someone's userpage draft. The only other editor who made changes was also reverted and warned for editing that draft. All I'm asking is that you revert your edits until AP comes online and can check your message. - JuneGloom07 Talk 01:58, 3 March 2021 (UTC)

Sure— I will do that. I just wanted to confirm that I would not ever in purpose vandalise someone else's page– since I saw that in the edit summary I assumed it was a kind of group project and thought that I was helping DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 02:06, 3 March 2021 (UTC)

Neighbours Edits

Hello,

I have noticed that you have been reverting many of my edits, specifically to the Neighbours Canning family members. I understand that adding members like Edna and Frederick does not have any significance, as they are from generations ago and will most likely never be in the show, but I think that adding characters like Harley and Dane to Gary Canning and Naomi Canning's nephew section is necessary. This is because they are his "immediate" (if you want to call it that) family. Despite never actually seeing them having contact, they are still related and it would not make sense to not have them listed. In the Neighbours Summer Stories spin-off, there's actually two episodes where the Cannings are all in their Frankston house and there are mentions of Dane and Harley actually being there. Kylie Canning, Xanthe's cousin, is also there so she should be listed as well. I have noticed many pages do not list all family members and it doesn't make any sense not to have them there just because "they haven't interacted on the show". I have reverted all the edits I have made, but please respond so I have more information on this topic. I hope this lets you know where I am coming from.

From, Therealscorp1an

Please respond when you can. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Therealscorp1an (talkcontribs) 21:52, 10 April 2021 (UTC)

Hi. When I first started editing, the infoboxes used to be filled with every relative ever mentioned (20 cousins, great-grandparents, etc) and often accompanied by notes explaining the tenuous connections, which made them cluttered and harder to read. It was later decided that relatives should only be added if the relationship is notably significant to the character, so immediate family (parents, siblings and grandparents) and those who have shared storylines. If you check out WP:SOAPS#Character relationships, a consensus among the soap editors determined that "more distant relations (step-great-grandchildren?) will be noted in the infoboxes of other characters more closely related to them." So, while Gary is related to Harley and Dane, Kyle has the closer and more notable relationship having actually shared scenes with them. The connection is mentioned and sourced in their respective articles/sections. Relatives that have never been introduced aren't usually added, unless it's immediate family, like Xanthe's half-sister. I'm not sure about Kylie to be honest. I think she was added to the articles at one point, but removed because her appearance was not considered canon. She hasn't been mentioned in the main show since that spin-off. - JuneGloom07 Talk 03:57, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
Got it. Thank you very much for responding! If you do notice any other mistakes I make/made, please let me know on my talk page. I've also read all the pages I need to in order to understand how to work the wiki pages. Thank you, have a great day!- Therealscorp1an

Thank you :)

Just wanted to say thank you for your work on Teressa Liane! I was really confused by her stint in neighbours (I didn't add the info that was there originally but I was confused) and now the article looks much better, thank you!DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 02:48, 13 April 2021 (UTC)

No problem! I didn't realise that the page was on my watchlist until it popped up, but thought I'd take a look and, like you, thought that Neighbours info was confusing. It didn't help that the character names were the wrong way round! - JuneGloom07 Talk 17:29, 14 April 2021 (UTC)

Thank you again for corrwcting it! I was confused and it's nice that now the confusion is clarified. Also, I just saw your new article – I really like it! 😊 DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 15:38, 16 April 2021 (UTC)

If I find the time, I think I'll try and improve Teressa's article a bit more. There's quite a few roles that need sourcing. And thank you! It's the first draft I've had the energy and time to finish in quite a while. Hopefully I can work my way through the rest. - JuneGloom07 Talk 16:11, 16 April 2021 (UTC)

Changes

Here — just wanted to say that the reason I changed the lead from "the early 90s" was because MOS says that it 2 digits e.g. the 80s shouldn't be used in prose (though of course you can MOS:IGNORE). Also, I wasn't trying to "dump" the source in the lead... other editors have stated that the lead needs to be sourced, so that's what I thought I had to do... DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 02:30, 5 May 2021 (UTC)

Usually direct quotes are sourced in the lead, which is supposed to be a summary of the article. So, the source was best placed in the article itself. - JuneGloom07 Talk 03:40, 5 May 2021 (UTC)

About the Nielsen Ratings in general.

Hi there. :)

I like your contributions to the ratings of 'Frasier', and it's really great that info can be provided with reliable sources (ones we can actually see a screenshot of, haha). I know viewership figures did not exist (at least in weekly basis) before late July 1988, but I know the ratings and rankings did exist. Even by the 1970s, I was always under the impression that only seasonal ratings and rankings were available, but this article on M*A*S*H history of ratings and rankings, indicates that ratings and rankings on a weekly basis were available already. Of course, they are extremely hard to come by through normal means. The article states that the data came from the Los Angeles times for seasons 1 through 6, which is 1972-1978. Since I noticed that's the source you use, are the rating/share/rank figures available per episode for The Mary Tyler Moore Show? It would be really cool for historical context, if they are indeed available.

Thanks,

Alaios (talk) 17:58, 8 May 2021 (UTC)

@Alaios: Hi! I had a quick look for you and found this for the first episode: [1] (The LA Times article had the same info). I'll keep looking and see what else I can find. - JuneGloom07 Talk 03:36, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
Wow, that is great! Didn't expect such info to exist, although I assume the subsequent weeks (assuming they are not restricted only to the top 10) are hard to come by. Thanks. :D

Hello – I saw you're planning to add to the Mel Burton article. Just wanted to explain that me redirecting it was not me attempting to bulldoze it, but after two 2003 characters were PRODed last week, I went through all of the 2003 standalone characters and transferred any unreferenced articles onto the 2003 list. Basically me just salvaging what's there before it gets PRODed and lost, as certain editors are rifling through soap character articles. I noticed on the article alerts page that another two Hollyoaks characters have been PRODed recently too. – DarkGlow23:56, 13 May 2021 (UTC)

They will not get PRODed if you just add the sources that exist. Mel and Sophie are two of the show's biggest characters. You can find sources for Summer who has been in the show for five minutes but not for Mel and Sophie.Rain the 1 00:18, 14 May 2021 (UTC)
@Raintheone: I've watched Hollyoaks since February 2020, so that's the reason I only edit articles relating to newer characters. I've never heard of Mel and Sophie, not even heard them mentioned by fans of the show on Twitter/Instagram. I see a lot of June's sourcing comes from old Inside Soaps, which I have no access to either. So while I could have sourced very basic information, I find it very difficult to write about things I have no clue about, esp if I do not have access to detailed sourcing on the character. On a larger scale, I've also started a new job which has meant I edit much less overall, so when I do have a spare 20 minutes, I spend it on my Summer article since I actually know what I'm writing about. I'll leave the PRODed articles down to you in future. – DarkGlow08:19, 14 May 2021 (UTC)
I have no issue with the ones that were PRODed and it was Mel and Sophie that were not. I had not realised you were such a new viewer so that makes sense. I did wonder why you were favouriting the newbies. Congratulations on your new job though, I sure know how it takes away editing time.Rain the 1 08:46, 14 May 2021 (UTC)
@Raintheone: Thanks It's only a retail job lol but it's a lot of hours. I can see how it looks strange to have me find detailed sourcing for characters like Juliet, Cher, Brooke, Summer, etc but not for older characters – but I literally have no clue who 99% of the former characters are unless they get mentioned by people onscreen/on Twitter – so I try to only edit newer characters so I don't get any storyline info wrong. – DarkGlow08:59, 14 May 2021 (UTC)
@DarkGlow: I was only surprised to see the article redirected because of Mel's history within the show. But after a quick Google search yielded some casting info, I thought I'd give expanding it a go. Plus, I knew I had the offline resources to do so. I've been keeping an eye on the fictional PRODs and AfDs, but must have missed the Hollyoaks ones. I did catch an Emmerdale one and managed to improve it. - JuneGloom07 Talk 22:05, 14 May 2021 (UTC)
Thanks again for the additions, I had no idea Mel had a large history in the show. I did a search on Google for info on her and all I managed to find was one small snippet of Inside Soap on Pressreader lol. I applied for an article alert page for the soap wikiproject which is here; adding it to my watchlist has been great for seeing any changes (I transcluded it to WP:SOAPS too). – DarkGlow22:31, 14 May 2021 (UTC)
@DarkGlow: Ah, it was a different editor who PROD'd the articles! I know there's two that seem focused on fictional characters/elements, so I try to keep an eye on what they bring to AfD. Mel does seem to have done more than her sister, at least that's what I can gather from the sources. The long-running drinking storyline seems to have provided a far bit of material. - JuneGloom07 Talk 21:48, 15 May 2021 (UTC)
Yeah, it's different editors, I've learnt my lesson after last time! I saw they were targeting two 2003 characters and thought it best to merge them to the list before they were PRODed, which I thought was better than doing nothing. I always feel useless since I can't contribute much at all to historical soap character articles because I know nothing about them and have no offline resources. DarkGlow09:01, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
That article alerts page is really cool. I wish we always had one of those!Rain the 1 17:34, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
I had never seen an alert page until recently but found one on a taskforce for Thomas & Friends (don't ask how I ended up on that section of Wikipedia because I don't even know myself…) and knew we needed one for soaps! – DarkGlow17:56, 16 May 2021 (UTC)

Thank you

Just wanted to say thank you so so so so much for restoring the Mel Burton article and adding it to – it really means a lot! I was saddened about how many articles are being deleted at the moment, so the fact that they are being restored and developed means a lot. I am happy to help with copy editing/ the storylines section 😊. I wanted to start doing that, but I was worried that it would cause controversy... DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 02:11, 14 May 2021 (UTC)

You're welcome. I knew I had the resources to add real-world, development info. Sorting the storylines is not controversial, they're just not a priority. I was using them as a guide for the development info, but I saved a copy to refer to, so it's okay. - JuneGloom07 Talk 20:59, 14 May 2021 (UTC)

Felix Mallard

Removed image, it cannot be used here as a free image could be found (per WP:NFCCP

Not sure what that means. That image appears on https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Ben_Kirk so not sure why it can't be used on Felix's bio.

You removed "and was well regarded for his academic prowess" That was mentioned in the article from his school https://www.stmaryscollege.vic.edu.au/news/happy-in-hollywood

Mallard is from Semaphore in Adelaide, South Australia- not sure who put that in- not me.

Cheers, BlueWorld1 (talk) 06:31, 26 May 2021 (UTC)

Sorry I missed this due to other notifications. The image used in the Ben Kirk article is a non-free screenshot from a Neighbours episode, showing Mallard in character as Ben. It cannot be used in Mallard's article, as a free image could be found or become available. If you read the link I added (WP:NFCCP) it explains the non-free content policy. The "academic prowess" sentence was copied word for word from the source. Any content needs to be written in your own words. I didn't say you added the Adelaide info, I removed it because I saw it was unsourced. By the way, it would be really helpful to other editors if you used edit summaries when making edits. They help explain your intentions and what kind of edits were performed, like adding content, filling out refs, or removing unsourced content. - JuneGloom07 Talk 03:42, 2 June 2021 (UTC)

My apologies for not always providing edit descriptions. They were mostly tiny changes. I will try to do so in the future.

What free images can be used?

I have no other sources of his "academic prowess" so I didn't want to alter what was said in the article from the school.

[better source needed] for "Mallard's interest in music was incorporated into his character and he frequently played music on the show." A video of him saying he loves the fact they've written his love of music into the character isn't a good source? There are also videos and whole episodes from the show confirming this did occur. Magazine Synopses

Hello, hope you are well!

Forgive me if I am speaking out of turn, however a WP editor (or former? Not sure if they're still editing here) who used to edit alongside you a few years ago informed me that you have/had an archive of magazine issues. We are attempting to build an archive of information on Hollyoaks (currently severely struggling - we've been extremely fortunate to find what we have for 1995-2005), therefore if your archive still exists and you have content from this era - cheeky of me to ask, I know - would I be able to use these synopses? Would completely understand if your answer is no.

Kind regards,
EmmerdaleFan1972 (talk) 09:54, 6 June 2021 (UTC)

@EmmerdaleFan1972: Hi, I think I might need a few more details. Is this for Wikipedia? And what content do you want exactly, just the episode synopses from 1995–2005? - JuneGloom07 Talk 03:22, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
Hello; apologies, should have read over my message properly to see if I had included all details. This is a FANDOM Wiki (non-WP) project (I believe WP has no desire for a page for each episode; we'd be more than happy for WP to use the site as a source if you so wish). The episode synopses would be most preferrable, if it is of no issue.
Thanks again, I do understand that I am asking for quite a big favour and probably am speaking out of turn. Apologies for the lack of clarity in my first message.
EmmerdaleFan1972 (talk) 03:37, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
@EmmerdaleFan1972: Presumably I'd have to scan the pages and send them on? I'm not sure if you realise how many magazines we're talking about, but it's at least a couple of hundred. I'm already committing time to Wikipedia, and I mostly bought the magazines to help with article creation here, so I'm really sorry, but I don't think I can help you out with this right now. - JuneGloom07 Talk 02:01, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
Ah, completely understand - wasn't aware that it would have required such a tedious task (scanning so many articles) on your behalf. Thanks for your response! EmmerdaleFan1972 (talk) 02:05, 14 June 2021 (UTC)

Proposal

Hi, June. I hope you're doing well. I have been wanting to create a page about the Neighbours' 2016 storyline, Hotel Horror. But I'm kinda new at all this stuff, so I was going to ask if you would like to help and we could co-write/edit it together? We could work on the page on one of our sandbox(es) and then possibly publish it after. If you're not up to it, I could possibly write it and you maybe give tips on what to do/how to improve it? Anyways, hopefully you'll be able to help. Have a good day! - Therealscorp1an (talk) 00:01, 20 June 2021 (UTC)

@Therealscorp1an: I actually already have a draft for that storyline in progress. It's way behind schedule because of reasons I won't go into, but I still have all the sources, notes, and the magazines I gathered for it reminding me to get it done. This probably wasn't the reply you were after, sorry. Obviously it's up to you whether you want to work on your own version or not. - JuneGloom07 Talk 03:08, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
Oh, alright, all good. When you get round to do it, let me know if you need any extra help, because I’d be willing to lend a hand. - Therealscorp1an (talk) 23:17, 22 June 2021 (UTC)

Report against Mocolley220 for potential trolling/vandalism

Hi June,

The user Mocolley220 keeps added incorrect information to Jenny Bradley and Daisy Midgeley's pages (to be fair on this user they do have a valid source but the source is incorrect and this has been confirmed by itv). However, this user refuses to accept this - or engage in the talkpage discussion - and has issued a fake warning to me on my talkpage for "unconstructive edits". Just wanted to make you aware, thanks. Connorguy99 (talk) 17:26, 27 July 2021 (UTC)

I did see this, but after the issue was resolved. For what it's worth, I think you acted appropriately by going to the talk page and trying to engage the editor in a discussion. - JuneGloom07 Talk 21:41, 1 August 2021 (UTC)

Henry Wilks

Thanks for the sources you were able to find for Henry's article. I did a Google search which found Wikipedia mirrors, YouTube scenes, IMDb episodes and Fandom articles about him – nothing usable. I want to express that my intention is always to add sourcing to these articles, but it's difficult considering I don't have a collection of sources at home like you. – DarkGlow07:47, 29 July 2021 (UTC)

I just saw this. I have info I can add too.Rain the 1 07:38, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
Do either of you have anything in your archives regarding the characters I just added to the task list? I'm not joking when I say multiple Google searches found nothing. Absolutely nothing. DarkGlow11:45, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
I will take a look now. I have sources for the old characters next to me. I also noticed you PROD Steve November. I think he could pass WP:Basic - he is better known as Steve Frost and a google search turns up the info.Rain the 1 15:55, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
@Raintheone: Oh, that's Steve Frost?! I had no idea they're the same person – would you say an RM is due if he's better known by Frost? I've found a few sources by searching that name instead. Thank you – DarkGlow16:38, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
I am not sure about my original statement now. I began adding sources to the article. He does seem to turn up more sources as Frost regarding Emmerdale and Corrie stories. Under the name of November he had his most high profile roles at ITV and there is info. So I cannot decide.Rain the 1 08:02, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
@DarkGlow: To me, it seemed that you had assumed that there weren't any sources available because you couldn't find them. That's partly why I mentioned Dolly Skilbeck in my summary, since Raintheone was able to find ten online sources after the article was redirected. I don't doubt that you tried to find sources, but would you have asked for help with Henry before redirecting him? I also acknowledge that it's trickier to edit certain characters when you have a reliance on online sources. Have you looked at or applied for any of the resources available through the Wikipedia Library?
I started an offline draft for List of Emmerdale Farm characters (1985–1986), which includes two of the characters on that task force list. Not sure when I'll finish it though. - JuneGloom07 Talk 04:00, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
That sounds good. If I do add information to those two, then it could be added to the list if nothing else materialises.Rain the 1 08:02, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
@Raintheone: There seemed to be very little development info for Terence's earlier appearance, but I used the mags for his return and recast. I know I have an Emmerdale mag feature for Phil. - JuneGloom07 Talk 14:20, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
I added my magazine info to Terence. Not sure if there is anything in the books?Rain the 1 18:50, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
@Raintheone: I used the Lance Parkin book and I think you got that info covered (and then some) with the mags. There's only a brief mention about his visit in The Emmerdale Companion. - JuneGloom07 Talk 19:59, 31 July 2021 (UTC)

Thank You

Hi, I'd just like to say thank you for the help you've given and thank you for fixing the numerous mistakes I make whilst editing. I apologise for all the errors I may make. Kind regards - Therealscorp1an (talk) 03:44, 31 July 2021 (UTC)

I won't lie, it was annoying seeing you throwing cn tags around without (seemingly) attempting to provide a source. The ones in the Erinsborough article [2] came across as "drive-by" tagging to me and a {{More citations needed}} tag would be better if you feel that strongly about a lack of sources there. Using the preview button should eliminate most errors, although some occasionally slip through even for experienced editors. ;) - JuneGloom07 Talk 21:37, 1 August 2021 (UTC)

Dahl the gallah

Hello, JuneGloom. I hope you are well. I noticed that in Dahl's probe, it says she is still recurring. I believe her final appearance was in 2013, but I am unsure of the exact date. I was wondering if you knew? Please ping me if you do. Thank you. - Therealscorp1an (talk) 04:08, 16 September 2021 (UTC)

@Therealscorp1an: If I knew the date, it likely would have been added when the list was created. At some point, Dahl just stopped appearing and didn't exactly get a farewell (like Chop and Lenny). 2013 sounds about right, so you could just add the year for now. - JuneGloom07 Talk 23:56, 21 September 2021 (UTC)
Okay, thank you for your response. I will do that soon. - Therealscorp1an (talk) 01:07, 22 September 2021 (UTC)

DYK for Brotherhood of Man (The Drew Carey Show)

On 12 November 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Brotherhood of Man (The Drew Carey Show), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that for his appearance in the fourth-season finale of The Drew Carey Show, Hal Linden spoke with a German accent because he had trouble speaking with a Dutch accent? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Brotherhood of Man (The Drew Carey Show). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Brotherhood of Man (The Drew Carey Show)), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Home and Away characters

Hi June

with Home and Away what happened to Individual Character Profiles instead of redirecting to year of character.

I was wondering If I could make a individual page for everyone that hasn't got one? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 106.69.173.175 (talk) 12:12, 24 November 2021 (UTC)

Hi. It takes a lot of work and effort to create individual character articles and establish notability, so that's probably why there haven't been any new ones lately. Saying that, I'm actually close to finishing an article for Mackenzie. Most of the 2021 regulars haven't been on-screen all that long, so it's better they stay in the lists for now where the development info can be expanded/worked on. - JuneGloom07 Talk 20:27, 25 November 2021 (UTC)

Talkpage vandalism

There's an IP user moving/deleting other people's comments on the List of EastEnders characters talkpage. Connorguy99 (talk) 18:09, 16 December 2021 (UTC)

@Connorguy99: It looks like they just moved your comment to a more relevant section and formatted a couple of replies. Nothing seems to have been deleted, but I'll keep an eye on it. - JuneGloom07 Talk 18:25, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
@JuneGloom07: Can a user remove text from a talkpage that isn't their own? WikiFlame has done this at List of EastEnders characters. Connorguy99 (talk) 02:23, 31 December 2021 (UTC)
@Connorguy99: I think they're allowed to remove their own comments if no one else has replied, but they shouldn't really be removing posts from other editors without permission. If it was me, I probably would have just marked the discussion closed or archived it. If WikiFlame really wants their comments deleted, then WP:REDACTED offers more advice on what to do. - JuneGloom07 Talk 03:21, 31 December 2021 (UTC)

Excuse Me? I wasn’t vandalising anything! I had no acknowledgement! What the hell do you have against me Connor? WikiFlame50 (talk) 11:50, 31 December 2021 (UTC)

Student Seeking Guidance

Hello!! I hope you don't mind me reaching out. I am currently working on the page The End as part of a University course and looking for feedback on my progress. In particular, one question I had was in regard to the episode section. I have analysed featured articles and it appears that in this particular section it is normal to not have references, I was wondering if you could clarify? Appreciate your time reading this. --Charlieindigotango (talk) 03:12, 23 December 2021 (UTC)

@Charlieindigotango: Hi! Personally I would try to source everything. I haven't taken an article to FA, but perhaps any info that doesn't seem sourced in the table is actually sourced elsewhere in the article? For example, the writers and directors of Playing for Keeps are cited in the production section instead. Have you had a look at MOS:TV for guidance at all? It might provide better clarification on the issue. - JuneGloom07 Talk 04:12, 24 December 2021 (UTC)

Character pages

Hi, I wanted to ask how am I able to request a creation of a page? I've noted how characters in EastEnders such as Iqra Ahmed (despite not really warranting one as she was quite minor) have received a page of their own, whereas a character of nearly eight years (Kush Kazemi) hasn't? Additionally characters such as Gray Atkins and Chantelle Atkins deserve their own respective pages seeing as they have been major characters in the show. How am I able to request this? Sorry to bother you about this, thanks. --Moonflower13 (talk) 02:01, 23 February 2022 (UTC)

Hi, it's no bother. You could put in a request here or perhaps try the EastEnders Wikiproject. I do know someone is working on an article for Chantelle if that's of any help. - JuneGloom07 Talk 02:38, 23 February 2022 (UTC)

The place to report that would be WP:SPI but you must have diffs to support your claim. Reports without evidence can be seen as personal attacks against others. EvergreenFir (talk) 18:36, 19 March 2022 (UTC)
Yet another personal attack I see. You can get someone to perform a CheckUser on me, but you'll see it's not my account. I wasn't awake when they edited your talk page and I don't use language like theirs anyway. – DarkGlow19:10, 19 March 2022 (UTC)
