The article Fresh Connect has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. License tagging for Image:Fishermensboat.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Fishermensboat.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Speedy deletion nomination of "Total Navigator"
[edit]You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
A tag has been placed on "Total Navigator" requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. De728631 (talk) 19:34, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Total Navi.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Total Navi.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your Struisbaai edit, 2007
[edit]I now notice that in 2007 you deleted some useful information regarding the fact that Struisbaai was the location furthest away from the epicentre of the 2004 Tsunami where the effect of the tsunami was felt. I think this is of interest to wikipedia users. Do you have any objection if I reverse the deletion? Zingi (talk) 14:43, 14 April 2013 (UTC) +
- This was the text that you deleted: "Effect of the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami: At 19:30 on the evening of 26 December 2004 the sea at Struisbaai unexpectedly pulled right back, leaving a sandy beach, followed five minutes later by a sudden surge of water about 1.5 metres high.[1] This is furthest point in South Africa where the effect of the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami was reported to have been felt (see Countries affected by the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake - Countries suffering some casualties and damage). Other distant places where the tsunami was observed are given at Countries affected by the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake - Detection of the tsunami outside the Indian Ocean region."
