Pink Moon

Happy Dog
Thank you for your edits on Pink Moon. Your help does not go unnoticed or unappreciated! Pugsly8000 (talk) 01:41, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
It is no problem! Anything I can do to make Wikipedia just a little bit better! Thanks. -(tJosve05a (c) 05:31, 11 December 2013 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

The Huggler's Barnstar
Nice Huggling (is that a real verb? It should be) at AIV today. Yunshui  15:08, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
Thanks! Just doing what I can to help WIkipedia. -(tJosve05a (c) 15:10, 19 December 2013 (UTC)

New checkwiki errors

Added three new errors: DEFAULTSORT with no space after the comma, HTML text style element <strike> and HTML text style element <a> They will be enwiki only until all the new errors come on-line. I'd like to edit the 1,000 translation files only on time. frwiki will probably be turned one for NicoV to test WPCleaner. I keep wanting to call you Jose. That V messes me up everytime. Bgwhite (talk) 05:59, 19 December 2013 (UTC)

Bgwhite, Haha, calling me José? No, Josve stands for Jonatan Svensson. (My name is Jonatan Svensson Glad). That is a name that my elementary school chose for my computer a long time ago... thanks for telling me about the CHECKWIKI-errors! -(tJosve05a (c) 08:17, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
In 1992 I received my first login and email address... bgwhite. They asked about my computer name and I choose 'cougar'. 21-years later, nothing has changed. Funny how small little things come to identify ourselves all these years later. Bgwhite (talk) 08:25, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
I'll join that club too. ---> Wtwilson3  ;-) —    Bill W.    (Talk)  (Contrib)  — 15:26, 19 December 2013 (UTC)

Hi, you reverted someone here who blanked a page. It seems that someone is using an account a ipv4 adress en some dynamic ipv6 adresses to keep cleaning that page. I don't know what the problem is but this doesn't seem right. Maybe you know what to do? Natuur12 (talk) 09:49, 20 December 2013 (UTC)

We could request a page lock on that page. (WP:RPP) -(tJosve05a (c) 09:53, 20 December 2013 (UTC)

Database scan

  1. Get latest dumpfile: Goto http://dumps.wikimedia.org/enwiki
  2. Download the "pages-article" file. ie enwiki-20131202-pages-articles.xml.bz2.
This file is 10GB. File is 50GB uncompressed.
  3. Uncompress the file.
  4. In AWB, goto Tools->Database Scanner
    1. Under the Database tab, enter the filename of the database dump
    2. Under the Namespace tab, check content (the second one inside the box)
    3. Under the Text tab, enter what to scan for.

Above only works for article space. If you want talk pages too, you have to download the "pages-meta-current" file. It is 19GB compressed. Bgwhite (talk) 19:48, 21 December 2013 (UTC)

Wow, that takes a lot of time...stupid internet connection! -(tJosve05a (c) 19:51, 21 December 2013 (UTC)
It only takes me 30 minutes to download :) If you ever want to scan for something, give me a yell. Bgwhite (talk) 07:44, 22 December 2013 (UTC)
Bgwhite, sure thing! It takes me 6-12 hours! -(tJosve05a (c) 17:30, 22 December 2013 (UTC)

Some baklava for you!

Fixed and removed

Yes! Keep coming :) I am indestructible! LOL! removed reported since I found what the problem was. -- Magioladitis (talk) 00:12, 30 December 2013 (UTC)

Haha, "I'll be back. Here. Soon" -(tJosve05a (c) 00:14, 30 December 2013 (UTC)

Hint for the future: Always check if there any noinclude/includeonly tags in the page. In that case we limit general fixes to be on the safe side. -- Magioladitis (talk) 00:18, 30 December 2013 (UTC)

We need to keep track of your bug reports. In many cases our Manual needs update to explain some situations. Maybe GoingBatty could help on that. -- Magioladitis (talk) 01:01, 30 December 2013 (UTC)

Done with this edit. GoingBatty (talk) 01:43, 30 December 2013 (UTC)
