Disambiguation link notification for November 3
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Czerniawski, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cherniavsky. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:56, 3 November 2021 (UTC)

Disambiguation and surname pages
[edit]I have been editing a number of pages that contain both {{disambiguation}} and {{surname}} templates including a number of them created by you. As described in Template:Surname and MOS:DABNAME, disambiguation pages and anthroponymy pages have different guidelines. Name pages are articles and, therefore, may include explanatory text about the surname, references, and red links that aren't used in an existing article. All of these are discouraged on disambiguation pages.
For the articles that contain only names, I changed them to surname pages, and those with names plus other uses are labelled {{tl:disambiguation|surname}}. This tags them as disambiguation pages containing a surname list. Leschnei (talk) 17:32, 13 November 2021 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Basketball at the Asian Beach Games
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Basketball at the Asian Beach Games requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.) that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Basketball at the Asian Beach Games moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Basketball at the Asian Beach Games, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Pretzel sticks moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Pretzel sticks, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 14:29, 10 December 2022 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Prevodov
[edit]Hello Joaziela,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Prevodov for deletion, because it's a redirect that seems implausible or is an unlikely search term.
If you don't want Prevodov to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages such as Anti-Ukrainian sentiment are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks. // Timothy :: talk 10:18, 5 January 2023 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Talk:Anti-Ukrainian sentiment. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. // Timothy :: talk 11:56, 5 January 2023 (UTC)

- I just want to have a discussion in “talk” section not an edition war if my part of article was removed by another user. Discussion was removed by @GizzyCatBella because (s)he claims that “Wikipedia does not have a user page with the name Danilmay” https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Talk:Anti-Ukrainian_sentiment&diff=prev&oldid=1131713869 but yes there is the one with name @Danilmay https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Special:Contributions/Danilmay so I just want to bring the discussion back Joaziela (talk) 12:04, 5 January 2023 (UTC)
- You seem like you have made positive contributions in the past so I assume this problem is an exception. Talk pages are for the sole use of discussing article improvement. They are not to be used for general discussion. If you have a concern please post in the correct location. Continuing down this path will not end where you want it to. // Timothy :: talk 12:12, 5 January 2023 (UTC)
- I think is better to start discussion to try to have consensus, not have edition war (that are Wikipedia rules). Then even the discussion is removed, so how to work on consensus, if you could not have an discussion?
- So I see you already “sit on me” and now you remove my edition in Valerii Zaluzhnyi, so as well I start a discussion. So why is in your opinion putting in context why selfie with Stepan Bandera for him is not a good idea and that you need to mention his antisemitism, antipolonism and part in Volhynia genocide. In Hitler there wouldn’t be any POV, why it’s in Bandera you have to explain the was murderer, please take part in that talk then Talk:Valerii Zaluzhnyi Joaziela (talk) 12:21, 5 January 2023 (UTC)
- Your forum-style behavior at Talk:Anti-Ukrainian sentiment isn't appropriate. Talkpages are for specific, sourced suggestions for article improvement, not for venting about how much you dislike Ukrainian fascists (or Russian, Polish, German or whomever fascists), all of which is at at best tangential to the article's focus. In other words, the talkpage for discussion of the article on anti-Ukrainian sentiment is not a place for you to post anti-Ukrainian sentiment. Acroterion (talk) 13:08, 5 January 2023 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Valerii Zaluzhnyi, you may be blocked from editing. per BLP guidelines // Timothy :: talk 16:51, 6 January 2023 (UTC)
- What you mean by poorly sourced? there are three sources, from different countries of websites or twitter of Ukrainian parliament? if you want there could be even 20 websites of them... please put something meaningful in discussion, but so far you are silent and only doing censorship, I understand it’s not good looking for Ukraine, but Wikipedia it’s not place for propaganda and silent the truth Joaziela (talk) 16:57, 6 January 2023 (UTC)
- Well, citing Twitter is pretty much the definition of poor sourcing. I have met some unsavoury characters in my time (I could walk down to any pub and find some) but that doesn't mean that I'm unsavoury myself. Such strong allegations against living people need much better sources than Twitter. Phil Bridger (talk) 19:39, 6 January 2023 (UTC)

DS alert
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in Eastern Europe or the Balkans. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}}
on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Speedy deletion nomination of Bajgle
[edit]A tag has been placed on Bajgle requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.
