Disambiguation link notification for August 2
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Lastarria, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Sill and Big Joe. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Talk:Kamaal Rashid Khan
Hi Jo-Jo Eumerus
I deleted the ESP request (and your reply) at Talk:Kamaal Rashid Khan because chutiya is just an obscenity - Arjayay (talk) 09:13, 7 August 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks. I don't know all obscenities unfortunately. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 09:17, 7 August 2015 (UTC)
- No worries - Random words (especially in non-Roman script) on Indian subcontinent articles are often rude - and often why the page was protected in the first place. - Arjayay (talk) 09:29, 7 August 2015 (UTC)
All the references you need
Check www.fraudulentscheme.com then re-edit the page. Fraudulentscheme (talk) 23:40, 7 August 2015 (UTC)
- That link does not work. And posting arguments about how good or bad a person is is not what userpages are for at all. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 07:31, 8 August 2015 (UTC)
DYK for Lastarria
On 11 August 2015, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Lastarria, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that solidified flows of sulfur have been found on Lastarria, a volcano in Chile? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Lastarria. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |

Speedy Deletion of World Heritage Channel.
Hi Jo-Jo, It has come to my concern that you wish for my page: World Heritage Channel to be speedily deleted. I would like to let you know that this page is used for official purposes for Turner's channel 'World Heritage Channel'. It's information is therefore used from our press releases. We have also sited them to various media outlets.
Please review this again as the page does not violate any copyright issues as we own the press release.
Thank you for your kind attention. https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Draft:World_Heritage_Channel
- Hi, @Jessicaleung123:. I did not tag your page as a copyright violation, but now that I check, it appears to be a close paraphrase from this copyrighted webpage. We can't do that - only free content can be copypasted or closely paraphrased here. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 06:05, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
Hello Jo-Jo, I very much appreciate your prompt reply! The content is from the company I work for (Turner). We own the content. Therefore, I am tasked with creating a new wikipedia page for this channel as it is quite new. There should not be any problems.
Kind Regards.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Jessicaleung123 (talk • contribs)
- @Jessicaleung123: Um, did you read WP:COI? We have had problems with employees of companies editing their pages in the past. And paid editors need to disclose that status. Also, even if that text is specifically permitted on Wikipedia, it needs to be freely licensed to be added here - see Wikipedia:Permit and Wikipedia:Non-free content. DYK for Tutupaka
On 19 August 2015, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Tutupaka, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Tutupaka. Your sandbox project
OK, I think what's in your sandbox should be moved to Template space. The only wrinkle (and why I didn't boldly do it myself) is what to name it. The template that you based that on is {{Administrators' noticeboard navbox/Search}} – so I think yours should be named something like {{RfA Navigation/Search}}, as I'm thinking a link to your new template should be edited in to the {{RfA Navigation}} navbox. (Dunno what to do about linking to from WP:BN – we can worry about that later...) Whadya think? --IJBall (contribs • talk) 18:20, 12 September 2015 (UTC)
- @IJBall: I'd pick {{RfX searchbox}}. It covers both RfA and RfB and does describe its subject. Or Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Header/Searchbox if it only gets transcluded on one page.Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 18:47, 12 September 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah, {{RfX searchbox}} sounds promising. I'll ruminate on this some more, and try to make a decision before I go to bed tonight... Thanks! --IJBall (contribs • talk) 19:04, 12 September 2015 (UTC)

Jo-Jo Eumerus, the issues you raised in your DYK review have garnered a response. Can you please continue the review? If not, please let me know here and I will call for a new reviewer. Many thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 01:19, 19 September 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of VE test page
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on VE test page requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. noq (talk) 15:25, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
- Aye, that one was a test page I had to create in the article space because the Visual Editor only works there. I've endorsed the deletion.Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 15:27, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
Famatinian orogeny
I just created the article Famatinian orogeny and because you have been working in the Altiplano–Puna volcanic complex article I think you might be interested in checking Famatinian orogeny for any problems it may have. Lappspira (talk) 16:25, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
- @Lappspira: I've cleaned up some citations and done some minor copyediting. Incidentally, I see you are using the Geological Congresses as sources; how do you access these? I've always run into problems with them. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 17:32, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
- Jo-Jo Eumerus, search normal google and try open files there. It usually works fine and quick for low profile congresses. Some US and EU congresses can be more complicated. Lappspira (talk) 17:42, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
Hi Jo-Jo, sorry did an unintentional mistake with content removal, will try to edit again without the removal. Your attention to my edit would be appreciated regards — Preceding unsigned comment added by GizzyCatBella (talk • contribs) 08:57, 21 September 2015 (UTC)

Copy Vio
If you feel that a properly cited quotation is a "blatant copyright violation," as you have in your edit on Detroit Waldorf School please discuss your reasons on the talk page, where a section already exists for that purpose, rather than arbitrarily delete. In addition, "Please write a mission statement in your own words" is... nonsensical, at best. If you need an explanation why, please ask. Andrew Jameson (talk) 20:01, 22 September 2015 (UTC)
- @Andrew Jameson: Sorry. That quote struck me as excessively long to make a good case for fair use. Also, it looked more like a standalone paragraph to me, I don't see Missions being quoted frequently.Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 20:13, 22 September 2015 (UTC)
