Nomination of List of Red Velvet concert tours for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article List of Red Velvet concert tours is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Red Velvet concert tours until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 18:25, 26 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Clé: Levanter has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This page appears to have been copy-pasted from draft space into article space without attribution, possibly in order to bypass review.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into List of Red Velvet live performances. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 08:09, 14 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello! I'm Lightoil. Your recent edit(s) to the page List of South Korean boy bands appear to have added incorrect information, so they have been reverted for now. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at List of South Korean boy bands, without citing a reliable source. Hello, I'm Dylan620. I noticed that in this edit to Glitch Mode, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Dylan620 (he/him · talk · edits) 03:45, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The Eras Tour

[edit]

Just because Inglewood is the final stop of the U.S. leg during The Eras Tour doesn't mean it concludes the tour altogether. Taylor literally said she'll announce international tour dates as soon as she can. 96.227.141.216 (talk) 11:44, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

R to V moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, R to V, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 15:01, 27 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited My World (Aespa EP), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Singles. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:36, 26 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Lightoil (talk) 07:56, 26 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

June 2023: Do not update chart positions without updating the relevant source

[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Aespa discography, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Ss112 04:36, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Aespa discography, you may be blocked from editing.

Next time you update a chart position without changing the source (adding unsourced information), I will be informing an administrator. Learn how to update sources or don't update chart positions at all. Ss112 02:17, 8 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

August 2023: Do not perform cut-and-paste moves

[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Layover (V album) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name.

If you wish to move the page, do it properly and file a requested move. Ss112 10:33, 17 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

August 2023: Disruptive reverts, not following how to move articles

[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Layover (V album). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. @Sergecross73: This user is edit warring to retain their cut-and-paste move of Layover (V album) to Layover (V EP). Ss112 14:52, 17 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Jimmie, please listen to Ss112 when he tells you not to do cut and paste moves. It may not seem like a big deal, but it actually is. There's a process for moving articles, and it's important it's followed. Sergecross73 msg me 15:42, 17 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

September 2023: Unsourced edits EVERY week

[edit]

@Sergecross73: This editor has received enough warnings for adding unsourced chart positions. I'm reverting them every week on K-pop articles. [1], [2], [3]. They've received enough warnings, including a final one, for a block. They're not listening or responding. Ss112 02:31, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

Your talk page would indicate that you've been receiving a lot of warnings about adding unsourced content to Wikipedia, and you haven't responded to a single one of them as far as I've seen. Using sources, and communicating with other editors when there are concerns, are among some of the most important aspects of editing Wikipedia. You can't keep ignoring these things.

You are blocked for 1 week. If you can satisfactorily express that you understand these problems and promise to stop this, I can unblock you earlier. If not, then you've got to wait the full week. You can still edit your talk page whil blocked, so please respond here. You can WP:PING me if it looks like I'm no longer keeping an eye on your talk page. Sergecross73 msg me 03:22, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you blocked me because the recent edit in Riize page, I already added source for the content I added. So I don't understand why this person Ss112 still try to get me blocked when, in my latest edit, he undone my edit and then changed back with the same source I already put. Jimmie Wiki (talk) 07:24, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No, it's really more that you've done this a lot of times over the course of the past year and have refused to acknowledge it in any talk page messages. Sergecross73 msg me 11:14, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Draft:Chill Kill, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. December 2023

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Chill Kill. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Lightoil (talk) 06:55, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
