Speedy deletion nomination of Pitusa
Hello AntonioMartin,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Pitusa for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. J Sahu (ଜ୍ଞାନ) talk 12:45, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
- I moved it to User:AntonioMartin/Pitusa, where you can take a bit of time to develop the article before other editors will start going over it. WilyD 17:01, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Yo Sé Que Mentía
A tag has been placed on Yo Sé Que Mentía, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Mr. Guye (talk) 13:30, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
The article Cara Sucia (telenovela) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Not only is subject unnoteworthy, but is unverified and irrelevant to readers on an English wiki
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Mr. Guye (talk) 13:35, 21 April 2014 (UTC)

WikiProject Puerto Rico in the Signpost
The WikiProject Report would like to focus on WikiProject Puerto Rico for a Signpost article. This is an excellent opportunity to draw attention to your efforts and attract new members to the project. Would you be willing to participate in an interview? If so, here are the questions for the interview. Just add your response below each question and feel free to skip any questions that you don't feel comfortable answering. Multiple editors will have an opportunity to respond to the interview questions, so be sure to sign your answers. If you know anyone else who would like to participate in the interview, please share this with them. Have a great day. –Mabeenot (talk) 22:55, 11 May 2014 (UTC)

Wikilinking
Hi, and thanks for your work on the English Wikipedia.
I noticed an article you worked on. Just a short note to point out that we don’t normally link:
- dates
- years
- commonly known geographical terms (including well-known country-names), and
- common terms you’d look up in a dictionary (unless significantly technical).
This applies to infoboxes, too.
Thanks, and my best wishes.

ANI discussion
Your out-of-process restoration of Pop culture in Puerto Rico is being discussed at WP:ANI#Admin undeleted an anticle. This was a rather outrageous misuse of your admin bit, and I strongly recommend you self-revert it before others have to do so and before your fitness for the admin role comes under scrutiny. Fut.Perf. ☼ 06:57, 16 June 2014 (UTC)
- Antonio, I definitely recommend not ignoring that ANI thread - it's going to get uglier the longer it goes unanswered. Between now and when you respond, people are going to dig through your admin actions - especially undeletions. Administrative tools
I believe you no longer have the trust of the community to use your administrative tools. Under what circumstances would you resign them? Hipocrite (talk) 12:43, 16 June 2014 (UTC)

- I've filed a request for broader comment at Wikipedia:Requests_for_comment/AntonioMartin. You are welcome to respond. Hipocrite (talk) 13:29, 16 June 2014 (UTC)
Gracias. Gamaliel (talk) 16:03, 16 June 2014 (UTC)
- You're right, we absolutely DO need good Latino admin, and all the community asks is that you use the tools only to serve the community, not yourself. Perhaps Antonio isn't aware of how much the expectation for admin has changed over the last many years, but they have changed. It is less "cowboy" that it was 10 years ago. Antonio, thank you for writing the article. There are a few issues unfortunately: The subject is not notable, being a military aircraft crash, see WP:AIRCRASH, but I have enterred it in the List of accidents and incidents involving military aircraft (2000–09). To save your time and energy please bear in mind that military crashes usually require some other form of notability such as civilian casualties or unusual crash site, unusual cargo or weapons etc. etc. to warrant stand-alone mainspace articles. I would be happy to advise on future article subjects, happy editting.--Petebutt (talk) 04:24, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
Instead, use the Wikimedia Commons category for the station to hold your picture. SounderBruce 08:47, 9 August 2014 (UTC)

- Thanks for contacting me about this issue Bnotepr. I have two concerns: Mainly, that the article is written in a way that expresses the way we'd be talking about it in Puerto Rican SPANISH. I mean it's like this: In Puerto Rico, people would say (at least in the old times when Sunshine Logrono had his funny show "Sunshine's Cafe") "Estas tenso Papa!" and everyone there knows what that means. But if we translated that to English and wrote or said "You are Tense, daddy!" well in the States and other English speaking countries, no one knows what that means, you see what I mean? We can work that through. The other one is, how famous is Cirex for real? Thanks and God bless you! Antonio Macho Camacho Reincarnated Martin (dimelo) 07:01, January 23, 2015 (UTC)

Resign as an Admin
Antonio, taking into account the concerns raised by many editors on this current ANI thread, would you consider resigning your position as an Admin?
This could possibly save the community from some bureaucratic effort, while still causing no detriment to your role as an edittor. damiens.rf 17:18, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
- Antonio, I'm sorry but I have to agree. I find it too hard to believe that User:Le Pato Frances, an account who was created to revert/attack User:Damiens.rf, is not either you, or not someone you were aware of and did nothing about. Each item that has been brought up in the last week or two has been kind of borderline, but taken together, that is the straw that broke the camel's back. Disambiguation link notification for July 6
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Exhibition fight, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jack Johnson. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:47, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on United States NAVY, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from an implausible typo, or other unlikely search term.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you believe that there is a reason to keep the redirect, you can request that administrators wait a while before deleting it. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Compassionate727 (talk) 19:24, 9 July 2015 (UTC)

Hi there. Sorry for the delay in this, I've been on a mini-wikibreak. I deleted this article as the WP:PROD had expired. PRODding is another deletion method that basically means an article can be deleted if the PROD template added to it hasn't been removed or challenged within a week of posting. That's what happened in this case. The issue with the article was that it relied too much on primary sources. As it's software, speedy deletion criterion A7 doesn't apply, hence the PROD being added.
I'm quite happy to restore this to your userspace if you want so that you can work on it. Leave me a message on my talk page if you want me to do this, or to discuss further. Thanks :) GedUK 12:45, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
El Señor de los Cielos
The series of Pablo Escobar has nothing to do with "El Señor de los Cielos", even became a crossover, and the participation of the actor that made Pablo Escobar did great things in the series. and Rafael Amaya did not participate in "Escobar, el patrón del mal". So I need you to give me an explanation of because you get reverted my edit.--Philip J Fry • (talk) 05:22, 5 August 2015 (UTC)
- Yes it does. Because they were both series about drug dealers, that is why. Furthermore, Andres Parra played Escobar in 'El Patron" and in "El Senor". Antonio El Idolo Juvenil Martin 06:44, 5 August, 2015 (UTC)
- And that has to do?... Then we will appoint in the article all series dealing with drug traffickers as La Reina del Sur, Señora Acero, Camelia la Texana, Narcos, Ojo por ojo, La querida del Centauro. There are already categories for that. So to ask you to delete this series of the article, are not going to be filling that article with other articles that have nothing to do, and as I said already there are categories. --Philip J Fry • (talk) 06:04, 5 August 2015 (UTC)
- But lay people who visit this website may not know how to use the categories, and that is why several articles have "see also". I think we should do what you said. 07:15, 5 August, 2015 (UTC)

- No, we are not going to do that, so there are the lists of items such as: List of American telenovelas, List of Colombian telenovelas, and templates such as: Template:TV Azteca telenovelas and many more. If it gives users too lazy in the categories or view templates, does not matter is mine. We will not be filling the linked articles other items that have nothing show. If you don't want to delete that, I have to ask for help to any administrator.--Philip J Fry • (talk) 06:22, 5 August 2015 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Timeline of philography
The article Timeline of philography has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Long unreferenced list, with seemingly arbitrary collection of items of interest, no clear connections between items and hobby.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sadads (talk) 03:15, 12 August 2015 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Uff!
The article Uff! has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable band - Standard searches do not reveal enough significant coverage in independent reliable sources

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

The article María Gloria Penayo De Duarte has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. PamD 12:20, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
