Hmm, maybe. In my opinion, if we add anymore colomns it will be cluttered. I'm a freak for quality. Maybe we should seperate the articles into "Table of Prophets of Major? Abrahamic Religions"," Minor Abrahamic"...well maybe not, or if you dont want to keep putting "(restorationism)" and all that, then we could just seperate them into their respective sub-religious divisons via new articles...but i dont know i dont like creating 5 articles in the place of one. Jewish prophets

Hi, can I ask your opinion on whether we need both Category:Jewish prophets and Category:Prophets of the Hebrew Bible? The contents are almost the same. At the moment, the latter also has Bithiah, Elihu (Job), Eliphaz (Job) and Job (Bible), and the former has no extra articles not in the Tanakh category. Is every so-called Jewish prophet since Malachi considered a false prophet in Judaism? (Nathan of Gaza sounds fairly obvious, but I don't know whether there are any held in high regard.) If Jews recognise no prophets outside the Tanakh, then one of the categories is a duplicate and can be deleted. - Fayenatic london (talk) 21:51, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

I've thought about your proposed rename to Category:Judeo-Christian prophets and it's probably the best idea. I suggest it should then be populated according to the discussion led by User:Dbiel at Template talk:Prophets of the Tanakh. In short, it is ok to ask for opinions from Projects that might have an opinion on the article -- but to specifically ask them to come and vote one way or the other is seen as crossing the line -- especially with the number of messages you left. Christianity and antisemitism

I am a little surprisd that you rated the importance of this article to be "low". I would think that the importance would be relatively high i.e. at least medium if not high.

Also, would you look at Antisemitism in the New Testament and add it to WikiProject Judaism?

Category:Images of Jewish literature

Merging Jewish wikiprojects

You keep on doing things without carefully checking out what else is out there first. Look before you leap! Did you even know that the parent category Category:WikiProject Judaism existed before you went ahead and created "Category:Jewish wikiprojects"? You also don't seem to care much about what other editors in the Jews and Judaism sections have done over the years. Wikiproject Cryptids

I notice you've been adding the project banner to a lot of mythological creatures. Are things like the Lernaean hydra and tarasque truly considered cryptids? --Eyrian 20:00, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

I have similar concerns... it looks like the cryptids tag has been added to anything that happens to be mythical, regardless of whether there is any cryptozoology content that could be added to that article. Polenth 20:51, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

(In response to the reply on my talk page) I think I see where the issue might arise. Dragons refer to a range of different mythological creatures. They're not all the same thing. Some of them are discussed in cryptozoology circles and some of them aren't. The ones that aren't have nothing about cryptozoology that could be added to their articles. Therefore they're not part of the cryptozoology project. Dragons aren't quite as simple as things like lake monsters; you need to look at the individual cases a bit more closely. It's unencyclopedic. We shouldn't used CSS absolute positioning tricks to try and alter the stable, consensus, site-wide design. Changes to the sidebar have in the past gone through extensive discussion (i.e. Wikipedia talk:Village pump (proposals)/Sidebar redesign). In addition to serving no encyclopedic purpose, the rendering/execution is poor (at least on my browser). I thought it was obvious why it was inappropriate, and that it was simply a good faith joke on your behalf. If this doesn't answer your concerns, please consider seeking a third opinion, or making the proposal to include the image on the articles' talk page.-Andrew c ^[talk] 22:57, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

I agree with Andrew c, it seems inappropriate to add such an item to the main article space. Not to mention in my browser it bounces behind the normal wikipedia logo which makes the whole thing look rather poor. adding categories to WP

I've never seen categories added to wikiprojects before (and don't see anything about it on the assessment page). How do we rate categories in importance? Should we add something to the assessment page about this? --Bachrach44 14:45, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

Okay - I can see the benefit to having cats as part of the project. For the sake of completeness though, let's rate their priority as "NA" though, otherwise we clutter up Category:Unknown-importance Judaism articles. Userboxes

I've read quite a bit on userboxes, but it always appears gibberish to me. I don't really need to know, but with seemingly insatiable curiosity, how're they made? I know I probably sound like a cliché noob, and the reason I ask you is because I figured you'd know how they're made. What I mean by "made" is: 1: how're they made to look like "user:Faustus_Tacitus/blahblahblah", and 2: how're images scaled down to fit inside the box? I used to know but I tried to make a box, recently, and seem to have forgotten.
