Conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, JatinJalandra. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. – Athaenara ✉ 18:49, 22 October 2021 (UTC)

I am sorry. I was editing for the first time and trying to learn.

Request reason:
Very sorry for what i did. I was using Wikipedia for the first time as an editor and was just trying to learn so i put some old documents on the page just to see how it comes out. It was a naive mistake. I promise i will not be doing copy pasting anymore. Also, when the question was presented asking if i had a relation with what i am writing about, i really thought i was supposed to say 'yes' and only then it will be accepted. Till date i believed that people and organisations made their Wikipedia pages by themselves. I later read carefully and realized what it really was and how biases come into play.
Please, if you could just give me another chance. One more.
I apologize again.

Decline reason:
I have great difficulty believing that you mistakenly identified yourself as having a conflict of interest and mistakenly copied and posted documents from the company. Maybe someone else will accept that easily, but not me. In any event, if you want to edit about topics that are unrelated to Yogananda Films LLP, please tell what those would be. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 21:42, 23 November 2021 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
I did not mistakenly identified myself as having conflict of interest. I did it falsely and that too deliberately (Which ofcourse i shouldn't have). I really thought i was supposed to say 'yes' to the question if i was associated with the company and only then it will be accepted. I believed that people and organisations made their Wikipedia pages by themselves and didn't know i was doing the right thing by being an independent source. I copy-pasted as it seemed easy and was a stupid mistake to take Wikipedia so lightly. For my whole life i found info on this site itself and thought this is how it works. I am an idiot for not going through your regulations religiously. I might edit more topics in the future and will never work again on Yogananda films i promise. Please change my ban to atleast a finite time so that i can serve my punishment and then be allowed back on the site as a changed man. An indefinite block of my ID and IP address just feels too harsh. You can check my edit history, i've hardly even edited anything except that one page for which i rightly got two strikes. Please help me and accept my request, i promise to be better.
- You may make another request for someone else to review. 331dot (talk) 13:28, 7 December 2021 (UTC)
