Your recent edits
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 17:15, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
Hi there, I noticed in your edit summary here that you stated "Israeli POV on the conflict balanced by alternate POV's in the introduction". Keep in mind that neither section should have a POV - both should ideally be neutral. Just a friendly heads up! --Hojimachongtalk 07:24, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
thanks. I actually added a Hamas quote after the Israeli position, just so that both positions were stated. Both viewpoints are clearly attributed. I guess, POV is the wrong phrase to use there. Jacob2718 (talk) 07:27, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
I reverted your edit because neither the West Bank or Islamic Jihad are part of the ceasefire, and a raid into the West Bank city of Nablus has nothing to do with the ceasefire with Hamas. Furthermore, I'm not sure how removing the stated Israeli reason for doing something makes it "NPOV", it just removes valuable information on which the reader can make their own judgement. -- Noung (talk) 20:24, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
Hi. I noticed you've removed some details on rocket firing during the Israeli ceasefire? Could you possibly undo and bring this to the talk pages? I was just checking it over with an aim to probably delete the stuff you did but I think some would imagine it important to note these attacks occured during the Israeli ceasefire Superpie (talk) 19:26, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

Casualties in the lead
[edit]Yes Jacob, Cerejota is mistaken when he says the consensus was to not have casualties in the lead. That was his argument Talk:2008–2009_Israel–Gaza_conflict/Archive_5#Casualties_in_the_Lead. Cheers. RomaC (talk) 08:55, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
re : please repost
[edit]Hi, I had to revert an edit you made (on Carter), because I think it messed up the formatting of the page and we had to go back to an earlier version. Could you please repost your edit. Thanks and apologies, Jacob2718 (talk) 20:22, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
- Not a problem, truthfully, I hope I can re-find it... ACK V. Joe (talk) 20:24, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
Gaza Conflict lead
[edit]I would wager that if the term "Gaza War" makes it into the first graph, the term "Gaza Massacre" will be gone in a matter of days. Anyway thanks for your patient and careful editing you are an inspiration. RomaC (talk) 14:14, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
Hey
[edit]No, it wasn't me. Either someone else did it, or they came up with the idea on their own (a good one too, considering how hard it is find images). Anyway, thanks for thanking me :) and keep up the good work. Tiamuttalk 19:10, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
RE: Graph
[edit]Hi Jacob, I sincerely apologise for making that edit, and it was in good faith. The original graph which I replaced (File:Gaza-Israel war casualties.png) was marked with an {{SVGNowAvailable|x}} template. Assuming this vector version contained the exact same information as the .png, I switched them, and since my edit only changed 3 characters, I marked it as a minor edit. I am very grateful that you picked up my mistake, and I will be much more careful in the future. Thanks once again, Cflm001 (Talk) 07:10, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
Dispute Notification
[edit]I have filed a dispute on the article of Fidel Castro. I do this because it is recommended "If you begin a discussion of another user on a common notice board, it is expected that you will notify the subject user by posting a message on their talk page". Do not report me as vandal. This is the only instance in which I will write something here. If this is not the way to do it, let me know how it is done. Thanks

[edit]Hello, I'm FirstDrop87. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, NORAD Tracks Santa, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
