Deletion discussion about Barbara L. Wegener

[edit]

Hello, Jackmarshall052104,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Barbara L. Wegener should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Barbara L. Wegener .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Slatersteven (talk) 14:56, 21 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Jackmarshall052104. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Saint Paul Lutheran School (Boca Raton, Florida), for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Jackmarshall052104, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. A tag has been placed on User:Jackmarshall052104, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". User page/sandbox

[edit]

Hello, Jack,

Editors typically work on articles in Draft space on in a user sandbox. Since your work was on your main user page, it was marked for deletion for being "promotional" but it seemed to me not to be advertising but an article you are working on so I relocated it to User:Jackmarshall052104/Sandbox. The whole edit history has been preserved and I marked it with a Sandbox tag. When you believe it to be ready for the main space, you can either move it into article space or you can submit it to Articles for Creation for it to be evaluated. Please let me know if you have any questions. Liz Read! Talk! 23:35, 13 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your user page is for you to write about your activities, not to host drafts. Liz has moved your draft to the correct place, please read her message above, and note that I've prevented editing of your user page for now, since it's been repeatedly recreateed. Note that your draft will need independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jackmarshall052104, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community. Whpq (talk) 03:30, 6 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

SCOTUS party affiliation

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Patrick Bouvier Kennedy, you may be blocked from editing. Robert McClenon (talk) 21:22, 24 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in American politics since 1932. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Jackmarshall052104/Sandbox (2nd nomination), is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. It is absolutely not permissible to alter other editor's !votes as you did here.
