If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Translation of Quran in Bangla requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. An article you recently created, Translation of the Quran into Bengali, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Why it is gonna to be delete again... জাবিরটটক (talk) 07:01, 24 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Quran translations into Bengali requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. History of Quran translations into Bengali

[edit]

Hi thanks for creating this article. When we translate or borrow from other language wikis it’s a requirement to acknowledge the source. The best way to do this is to include it in your edit summary (e.g. “translated from bn.wiki”) and there’s also a translation template you can add to the talk page. I’ve added the template to the talk page for you. Happy editing and please leave a message on my talk page if you need any help Mccapra (talk) 04:15, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi জাবিরটটক. I'm Tamzin, and I'm an administrator and SPI clerk here on Wikipedia. I wanted to inquire about the relationship between your account, Rihantel (talk · contribs) and গহীনঅরণ্য (talk · contribs). Do you operate both of these accounts, or do you have any other connection to them? Please do not edit further until you answer this message. Thank you.   -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 10:25, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No. They are random editors I suppose. জাবিরটটক (talk) 03:14, 13 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for abusing multiple accounts per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/জাবিরটটক. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.   -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 00:18, 15 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • I don't know why you chose to be dishonest about those other two accounts. You had not actually violated any policy; I was just going to give you a warning to not edit the same articles with multiple accounts. I've now blocked those two accounts indefinitely, and have blocked this account for two weeks. When you return from this block, I hope you return to editing constructively. Using other undisclosed accounts in the future will be considered avoiding scrutiny and lead to another block, likely of indefinite length. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 00:26, 15 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Brahmin communities across India indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 07:15, 6 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm HolyArtThou. I noticed that you recently removed content from Quran translations into Hebrew without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. HolyArtThou (talk) 09:57, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Qadianis are not considered part of mainstream Muslim community.
That is why I did remove that portion you had added. Jabirttk351 (talk) 10:00, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Jabirttk351: Please note that Wikipedia works from a Neutral Point of View, and the general consensus across Wikipedia is that Ahmadiyya is considered a sect within Islam. On the Ahmadiyya article, it is stated attempts to remove Islam or Muslim from the article will be dealt with as intentional disruption. Please also note that Wikipedia is not censored. HolyArtThou (talk) 10:23, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Mainstream Sunni and Shias do not consider Ahmadiyyas as Muslims.
There are a tons of fatwas against them. Jabirttk351 (talk) 10:36, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Jabirttk351: Again, please refer to my comment above. You have been giving several warnings. If you do not refrain from making such edits, you will be reported. HolyArtThou (talk) 12:28, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Quran translations into Hebrew, you may be blocked from editing. HolyArtThou (talk) 12:27, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

When not to use cite web

[edit]

In this edit to Rangamati Hill District you switched a citation from {{cite news}} to {{cite web}}. According to Template:Cite web/doc, cite web is something of a citation template of last resort, to be used only if no more specific citation template applies. Parbatta News is an online news portal,[1] a news organization publishing news articles. So the correct way to cite it is with cite news, which is for all news articles, whether they are published in print or online.

Also, although it's fine to proactively archive URLs, if the original URL still works, as in this case, please set parameter |url-status=live. That way any reader clicking through will see any retractions, corrections, or updates that the publisher might make to the article. --Worldbruce (talk) 18:10, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your kind information. Jabirttk351 (talk) 02:32, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
