Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, ShopRite (United States), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Nomination of Sports Heroes for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Sports Heroes is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sports Heroes until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. [edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Rex Gene Foods, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Shoprite. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:50, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"your latest edit"

[edit]

You may want to specify what edit (or at least the page edited) you're talking about, so that others who see the user talk page can review to see what you're talking about. Bardonrab (talk) 21:03, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for making the change. I didn't think you came off as mean; I just wanted to make sure that the message gave useful information to other editors. Bardonrab (talk) 21:43, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Guerillero, which editor was JaJa0N11 a WP:Sock of? Bardonrab (talk · contribs) was recently blocked as a WP:Sock; see my talk page for further detail. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 06:55, 3 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Note: Guerillero answered on my talk page. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 16:01, 3 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Comment

[edit]

I don't think you are a piece of garbage, just that you need to take more care in reverting edits as vandalism. Making mistakes is fine as long as you recognize them and change. I might suggest reviewing some of the link that were posted in your welcome at the top of this page; if you need further assistance, there are ways to seek it. 331dot (talk) 17:26, 27 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thats fine

Your warning of User:Editor For Wikipedia

[edit]

Hi TypingInTheSky, I noticed the warning you gave, and I think your warning isn't really correct. I don't see anything in Wikipedia:Username policy that prohibits having "Wikipedia" in usernames. The username doesn't seem to me to be promotional or misleading, and they do not seem to be claiming to be anyone official. Plus, they only made the one edit, so I don't think a second warning is warranted yet. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 00:19, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Howicus: This portion of the policy states that "Usernames including phrases such as "wikipedia", "wikimedia", "wiktionary", "(WMF)", or similar if they give the incorrect impression that the account may be officially affiliated with the Wikimedia Foundation or one of its projects" are not permitted; in this case, "Editor for Wikipedia" suggests that the user has some sort of official capacity on Wikipedia, an "editor for" the site. 331dot (talk) 01:18, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, I see where you two are coming from. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 01:18, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I won't make that mistake again, thanks for the help and advice 331dot TypingInTheSky (talk) 01:43, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

October 2015

[edit]
I'm not sure where this user was identified as a sock, they are trying to get somebody else to log into their account, which I suspect may be an attempt to associate a new IP with the account if Checkuser is run. See this reddit thread. Plantdrew (talk) 23:14, 4 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
More above in the #"your latest edit" section. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 16:02, 3 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"Flarida" listed at Redirects for discussion

[edit]

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Flarida. Since you had some involvement with the Flarida redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you wish to do so. Steel1943 (talk) 22:20, 20 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
