Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Apologies
[edit](this was supposed to be emailed to the relevant administrator, but i'm not sure if the email went through, so i'm putting it here)
Hi, this is J76392 (balancivity.com)
I recently had my account banned. However, This email is not an appeal, instead its an apology.
I recently added a number of external links, and before i knew it i was banned. It was only at a later stage today that i saw i had in fact been warned a number of times via the My Talk function. However, by the time that i saw the warnings, it was already too late.
The first time i tried to add an external link, thetopbusinessideas.blogspot.com, it didn't work and i didn't know why. Later, i tried with balancivity.com and it managed to link. At this point i got carried away, trying to link as such of my information from that site, to the relevant pages on Wikipedia. Because balancivity.com covers a wide range of topics, at that point i thought it would be okay to add a number of external links, provided that it links to relevant content. I now see that i was wrong.
I didn't actually read up sufficiently on the requirements for external links: i just assumed that an external link is a link to a site containing content that is relevant to the topic. As a result of my lack of reading up on how to edit appropriately, balancivity.com has been blacklisted, which in turn, may affect the reputation of the site. However, i am responsible for my actions and am at fault and acknowledge that the blacklisting is as a result of not following rules.
Looking back at my actions, i see now that i was in fact spamming and not making a positive contribution towards Wikipedia. I am in agreement with you: my actions did constitute spamming and the indefinite ban is a justifiable response. I realize that it must have been frustrating for the administrators, to send warning after warning, yet the warning not being following. I apologize for this: i only saw all the warnings after i had already received the banning notification which lead me to find the extent of the ban, which was when i clicked on My Talk to see the warnings.
I should have done sufficient reading on editing procedures and should have made myself aware of the communication medium used by Wikipedia (the My Talk feature).
Basically, what I'm trying to say is, i acknowledge that i have behaved inappropriately. I apologize for causing unnecessary work for you and the other administrators
apologies, once again yours sincerely J76392 J76392 (talk) 15:34, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. [1] MrOllie (talk) 17:36, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Debt consolidation, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Also, do not mark such edits as minor. People need to be able to watch such article changes as they are made. Your marking of all of your additions as minor is considered disruptive in nature. –MuZemike 06:16, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. –MuZemike 06:30, 8 September 2010 (UTC)The URLs in which you are spamming has also been added to our spam-link blacklist so it cannot be added to any article here. –MuZemike 06:30, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
