Hi, thank you for copyediting my text. However you duplicated the text of the lede ad I am not sure which copy is copyedited. Please fix it. Loew Galitz (talk) 22:30, 10 December 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you so much for catching that! It's weird, it wasn't like that when I was looking back over it the other day -- no matter. I just deleted the non-CE'd section. ItsMackie (talk) 19:06, 11 December 2021 (UTC)

Copy edit notes
[edit]I've reviewed your copy edit of Tanais Tablets – good work! It looked like the article might have had some translation issues and you did a good job of smoothing out the text. A few minor notes:
dated to the late 2nd-3rd century AD.
With numeric ranges (even ordinals) we use an en dash instead of a hyphen: "2nd–3rd century". Generally, hyphens are used to join things together (conjunction) while dashes are used to separate them (disjunction). There are explanations and examples at MOS:DASH.- Good work getting the units for the dimensions, though ideally we like to have measurements in both metric and imperial. I used {{convert}} for this, which also takes care of the formatting such as producing × instead of x. (Convert is one of my favourite templates; there's a lot that it can do.)
- Ideally, the big quotes might be put into a block quote or perhaps {{verse translation}} for a side-by-side translation. This would give some formatting consistency to make it a little more obvious what it is, especially for people using screen readers and to keep bots from mistakenly changing it. Also, the source of the translations should have inline citations. I left it as-is, because I'm too lazy to check the sources.
which is apparent as is mentioned Tiberius Julius Rhescuporis II
I think that's a typo: is mentioned → it mentions.- I also threw in some non-breaking spaces such as Rhescuporis II.
- You removed the inline external link
[[:fr:Pavel Leontiev|Pavel Leontyev]]
. That's good, we don't want to have readers unexpectedly go off-site, particularly to another language. However, there is a permissible way to link to other Wikipedias using {{interlanguage link}}, as was done in the article lead.
It's fairly minor stuff, and some of that is more cleanup than copy-editing. You can see my changes in this diff. Thanks for your work and I hope you'll continue with this month's copyediting drive. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to {{ping|Reidgreg}} and post here. – Reidgreg (talk) 18:10, 8 January 2022 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for August 11
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Robert Blalack, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page St. Paul's School. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
